Caelum looks at Zarco, seemingly unaware of the sword-wielding soldier right behind her.

Zarco tries to warn her.

-Behind!

The soldier moves his sword with the clear intent to decapitate Caelum.

But she quickly lowers her head and upper body, barely dodging, allowing the sword to only cut some of her hair strands.

Caelum then does a forward roll to gain some distance, and as soon as she is up she yells.

-Quick, Zarco! Use that magical artifact of yours!

Zarco

-It's not magic! It's just a crystal that works according to a twisted logic not understood by your current science!

The soldier advances with his sword drawn ready for another attack.

Caelum

-Fast!

Zarco puts his hand on his wrist

-Ok, ok…

A small portal opens between the sword and Caelum.

The sword goes through the portal which then disappears, cutting through it, taking most of the sword, leaving only the hilt and some of the blade.

The soldier after completing his movement looks at Caelum who remained unscathed.

-What?! - He yells.

Caelum backs off and says to Zarco

-Good work!

Zarco

-We have a problem…

Caelum

-What problem?

Zarco raises his wrist to show the crystal with no glow.

-Low energy...

Caelum

-What?

Zarco

-In short…

The guard looks at the broken sword in surprise and quickly after, throws it to the ground.

Zarco

-It was nice knowing you…

Caelum

-It was? What are you saying?

Zarco says while in an exhausted pose.

-We're going to die, I’m out of power…

Caelum looks at him, confused by his sudden extreme mood change.

-Hã?

The soldier stands still as he questions to himself.

-The sword broke in midair?! What just happened?!

Zarco recomposes after noticing the dumb way the soldier looked at his blade, like he was wondering what just happened.

-Wait, if I can intimidate this idiot…

Zarco makes an evil smile from cheek to cheek.

Zarco

-MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Caelum keeps staring at Zarco confused, not properly understanding anything about his behavior.

Zarco then raises his arm as he makes a pose trying to highlight the bracelet on his wrist

Zarco

-LISTEN TO ME YOU PALTRY INSECT! THIS IS THE MIGHTY CRYSTAL...

Zarco makes a quick pause during his speech.

-What was the name of this thing again? Remember… Remember! Oh, screw it!

Zarco

-OF OMNIPOTENCE! EXACTLY! THE CRYSTAL OF OMNIPOTENCE! WITH IT THERE ARE NO LIMITS TO MY POWER!!!

Zarco thought

-Although it only opens portals.

Soldier

-O-omnipotence?! But, that would make you…

Zarco

-A god of course. What did you think I was?

Soldier

-It can't be… You are the being of the prophecy!

Zarco thought

-Again this? Well, whatever, if it scares them better for me…

Zarco

-Humpf! This way of addressing me is uncomfortable, listen and remember, the name of the one who speaks to you is… ZARCO NEWSTEIN!!!

Caelum, already giving up on understanding the situation, decides to just keep watching everything in silence.

Caelum thought

-What are you saying, idiot?! By now you would be dead if it weren't for my help! There's no way a being capable of destroying everything can be so pathetic!

Soldier

-Zarco Newstein...

Zarco

-YES! REMEMBER THAT NAME AND TREMBLE! FOR THIS IS THE NAME OF THE INCARNATION OF CHAOS!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Soldier

-But you said that "with" the crystal, your power has no limits... That is, without it you are nothing.

Zarco gets nervous

-Eh… Ah… SO WHAT?! With it I have power and I am with it now! So stop talking nonsense and beg for your life! Then, MAYBE I'll forget about it...

Soldier

-And just now you said something about the energy running out… So you just lost your powers…

Zarco’s desperate, pissed, and clearly annoyed, though.

-What the hell?! Where did this explosion of intelligence come from! You were supposed to be an idiotic soldier!

Soldier

-So, all I have to do is defeat you before you regain your power and I'll save everyone!

Caelum to Zarco.

-Good work.

Zarco to Caelum.

-Shut up.

The soldier then rushes forward to attack with only his fists raised.

Caelum stretches her arm in front of Zarco and says.

-Back off.

Zarco

-What? You're gonna fight him?

Caelum

-Yes.

The soldier attacks Caelum with a right punch.

Caelum defends the punch with her right arm, then counters with a right kick.

The soldier falls to the ground due to the hit.

Zarco

-Huh, she does fight, neat! Teamwork!

Caelum

-But you didn't do anything…

The soldier on the ground knocks Caelum down with a kick.

Caelum thought while falling.

-Damn it! I got distracted!

Caelum, right before falling, leans on her right arm and kicks the guard in the head at the same time.

The arm crumbles due to the pressure of her body and Caelum falls badly.

The soldier starts to get up.

But Zarco arrives, kicking the soldier in the chin.

Zarco then steps on the fallen soldier's face with a wicked smile and a victorious expression on his face.

Caelum starts to get up.

Zarco says to Caelum

-You can thank me later.

Caelum

-Thank you for what?!

Zarco points to the fallen soldier he was stepping on.

-For having defeated him, of course.

The fallen soldier punches Zarco's leg causing him to fall.

Zarco falls pretty badly.

Caelum

-You underestimated your opponent.

Zarco screams with pain.

-Shut up!

The soldier starts to get up, overcoming his wounds.

Caelum readies herself, getting into a battle stance.

The soldier starts looking around.

He sees three spearheads on the ground, near the area where Zarco and Caelum were. The spearheads were cut off when they teleported to the spot.

He aimed for them, but Caelum was between him and the improvised weapons.

Still, the soldier decided to advance against her.

Caelum prepared herself to quickly attack the moment he entered her reach.

But, to her surprise, the soldier instead spreads his wings and jumps, quickly following with the flap of his wings, he ends up flying over Caelum.

Caelum is caught off guard and turns around towards him.

Right after turning around, she gets a kick in the face. Delivered with the heel of his foot.

Caelum falls, she almost gets knocked out by the hit, but manages to remain conscient.

The soldier passes by her and lands, then he proceeds by quickly picking up two of the three spearheads.

Zarco and Caelum start to get up, both clearly hurt, Caelum obviously more.

The soldier stands, wielding the spearheads like daggers he yells full of DETERMINATION.

-You two die here and now!

Caelum

-What do we do now?

Zarco

-I didn't want to have to do this, but I'll have to resort to my most powerful technique.

Caelum

-You have techniques?

Zarco runs screaming while making various hand signals and wildly moving his arms around.

-OOOOOOOOHHHHHH! BY THE POWER OF THE ANCESTRALS! FACE MY  SECRET TECHNIQUE! ÔMEGA PLUS KAME METEOR!

The soldier prepares to quickly put Zarco down.

But when Zarco was getting close to him, he threw himself on the ground sliding with a sweep.

And when sliding right on the guy’s feet, Zarco calmly says.

-Punch in the balls.

He punches the soldier in the balls.

Several images come to the soldier's mind while he faced extreme pain, things like breaking eggs for example.

Soldier yells.

-Ooooooohhhh!

Caelum then quickly arrives, giving a flying jump kick in the soldier's face.

The soldier falls back unconscious.

Zarco on the ground questions Caelum.

-We knocked him out for good this time?

Caelum

-Yeah, I think so.

Zarco gets up already celebrating.

-YEAH! WE WON!!!

Zarco reaches out his hand to Caelum as a clear high-five signal.

Zarco

-Hit here!

Caelum

-Why?

Zarco

-Because we won! And since we won, we're excited! And excited people want to hit things! Hit here!

Caelum punches Zarco's palm.

Zarco

-Not like that…

Caelum

-That's stupid...

Zarco

-Eh, it is.
