"Darkkit!" "Feeding time!" My mother called. I was wondering what that feeling in my stomach was. It hurt. I rushed over to my mother and started feeding. My sister, Moonpaw, was eating a plump mouse from the Fresh-Kill pile. I finished drinking and started waddling to Moonpaw, but My mother stopped me. "Darkkit! stay in the Nursery! you're to young to go outside yet." She was right. i was only 2 days old. My father walked over to me and said: "Darkkit! Oh, look at you, our little furbawl," "Hmph. Littlemuzzle, you  haven't seen him until now! he is 2 days old!'

Father looked suprised. "What?! i forgot to meet our newborn kit? i'm sorry." i started feeling a little tingling on my forehead. i felt woozy, and I fell asleep. "Darkkit. hello." an echoey voice fell over me.  "One with the heart of a lion may rule a forest. one with a Dark heart will take over. one will fall. one will prevail." I mewled, unkowing to

what this dream was. A lion? and a Darkhearted one? what did this mean? i started floating up and landed on a grassy clearing. i saw some cat with an orange pelt and black paws. I then saw  myself emerge from a cave. i was big, and dark. The other cat then started getting bigger, and  grew a mane. they looked like a lion. they fought,

and the lion and I had blood coming from everywhere. paws were torn, pelts were cut open, everywhere. they then put their paw on the others paw. then went limp. i didn't know what- I didn't HAVE Any idea on what was  happening.  after all, i was a newborn kit.
