“Nevermind, its nothing.” Nathaniel embarrassingly said and hid his face in his shoulders, “Why are you stripping to sleep?”

“I guess it’s just something I picked up from Angil.” Ajax replied, “When I first got here I slept naked, and it was comfortable.”

“I see, do you…still miss him?” Nathaniel asked.

“I do, but I am not as angry as before.” he replied and decided to keep his pants on for Nathaniel’s sake, “He was somewhat like a guardian to me in those early times, I didn’t think I would lose him so quickly.”

“I’m sorry for my part in it again.” Nathaniel said.

“It’s alright, thanks for today, it helped me calm down.” he said, wiping away some tears that were quick to form in his eyes, “Sorry don’t mind me, today was a good distraction.”

“If a distraction is what you need…then…I could.” Nathaniel said and stepped over to him, “Maybe I could do that for you as a finish to my apology.”

Nathaniel went in close enough for their bodies to almost touch, and he leaned upwards. He wrapped his arms around Ajax’s neck and tipped on his toes, and before Ajax could react, their lips gently touched. He had his eyes closed so he couldn’t see Ajax’s reaction but he enjoyed the feeling of their kiss. Ajax’s lips were warm, like the rest of his body, and despite the scales, they were rather smooth and not rough.

On the other hand, Ajax was too stunned to make a reaction to Nathaniel’s kiss, all he could do was stare into Nathaniel’s closed eyes. To him, the latter’s lips felt soft, showing how well kept they were, their softness was like freshly bread mixed with that of a fresh marshmallow. In their current position he could see clear down the center of Nathaniel’s back and clearly see the difference in the builds of their bodies.

He eventually snapped out of his daze and leaned back slowly into the kiss, his hands slowly going to hold Nathaniel’s hips. However, when he felt one of Nathaniel’s hands leave his neck and slowly glide down his chest, making its way to his pants, he grabbed onto to it to stopped him. When Nathaniel felt his hand being gripped it startled him and he opened his eyes and broke their kiss, though kept their faces close. Both of their faces were beat red.

Ajax slowly pulled away from Nathaniel, which prompted the latter to cover his lips, and he gulped while thinking of a response.

“You just...kissed me.” Ajax stuttered.

“Well you said you needed a distraction and I…I thought that was what you wanted.” Nathaniel replied, he timidly rushed over to the bed, crawling over the children and laying on the side nearest the wall and then covered himself and them in the sheets, “I am sorry, I shouldn’t have done that or thought that, I really am sorry so please don’t hate me!”

“Nathaniel it’s alright, I wouldn’t hate you over something like that.” Ajax said, “Let’s get some rest.”

“Alright, please don’t be afraid to come into the bed.” Nathaniel said and closed his eyes.

“I will take that offer.” he replied and laid on the side opposite to Nathaniel, with the children sleeping between them, “Was that…um…your first kiss?”

“No, it wasn’t.” Nathaniel replied but kept his eyes closed, “Though I wish it was, good night.”

“Yeah, same to you.” he softly said, and when he heard small snores start to leave Nathaniel, he reached out and gently touched his hair, “That was quite a move you made, you took my first kiss in this world, I don’t know what response to make of it yet, but I’ll do what Angil said and keep you safe until I do.”
