Opening the door, Jaxon stared at the scene in front of him with something close to bafflement and a hint of horror. Ahriman was holding onto his stomach while laughing his ass off on Alex's bed, Blake was waving around his hand with tears in his eyes while Coney was nibbling everywhere he could reach.
“Focus, Blake!” the little rabbit huffed, biting his foot as Blake sat down on his bed with his legs crossed.
“I can’t!” Blake sniffled, pouting his mouth while trying to meditate.
“You can! You just aren’t focusing enough,” Coney replied with another bite.
“What are you doing?” asked Jaxon who truly wanted to shut the door again.
“Blake has gotten an assignment from his Primalcraft teacher to meditate even when he is disturbed,” Ahriman replied, wiping his eyes. Jaxon just stared at the scene, even his wolf was unsure how to react when Blake’s tear-filled eyes looked at him, begging Jaxon to save him.
“Well, I think he needs a break,” Jaxon finally said, lifting the struggling rabbit who was still in sergeant mode.
“No breaks until he can meditate even when being bitten!”
Jaxon didn’t even listen and just threw out the angry rabbit and the laughing Archon from the room.
“There are condoms in the drawer!” was the last thing Jaxon heard from Ahriman before he slammed the door close in his face.
“We don’t need those,” Blake hollered back.
“Safety first!”
Jaxon just decided to ignore the comments and went over to Blake with worried eyes darting over the bites. “Was that really necessary?”
“Coney thought it would be a great way to train me to not be affected by outside disturbances,” Blake muttered, allowing Jaxon to pull out bandages in the drawers. They were just under a back of condoms with a large standard on the box and a note with the words “Jaxon’s size” scribbled onto it with a winking smiley face beside it. How would Ahriman know his size? Then Jaxon couldn’t help but to look down towards his groin. Was he only standard?
“What are you doing?” Blake’s voice pulled Jaxon out of his thoughts and with a flinch he closed the drawer, never to think about it again.
“Nothing, I mean-“ He cleared his thought. “Why where you training?”
“Apparently, it is to allow me to astral project naturally. I have previously had to use a strange concussion and a ritual to send my essence into the spiritual world, but-“ Blake’s face grew dim. “I really want to avoid that rubbish again; my eyes are still hurting after the last time.”
Jaxon frowned, remembering the time Blake had laid in the circle with Coney’s blood on him. He had never asked for the details, knowing that he wouldn’t like it, but he sure was curious. “This would allow you to do it naturally?”
“Yes, meditating takes a longer time than making rituals but it doesn’t have as many side effects such as mistakenly not being able to locate your physical body. Doing it naturally would allow me to always be tethered to my body, so my spirit can always return to it,” Blake explained, grimacing as Jaxon slapped a bandage on the wounds. “Of course, it is very hard to do since even the smallest disturbance would send me out of the state needed to astral project.”
“Which is why you train?” Jaxon asked.
“Exactly.”
“Why not just do something such as playing loud music or slamming the door?”
“…”
One look at Blake’s grim face told Jaxon it was time to let this go. “Are you going to enter the spirit realm soon?”
“Yes, even if I haven’t mastered astral projection, Denesha said that she had potions able to help with it so we will be going this weekend,” A nervous glint flashed in Blake’s eyes, but he had an eager smile on his face.
Jaxon loved that expression, he just wished that Blake showed it at anything other than when he was using magic. “Is it safe?”
“Is any magic ever fully safe?” Blake replied effectively avoiding answering the question, which means that the answer is most likely no. Jaxon still didn’t push the matter, finally getting used to Blake doing risky things.
Nightmane on the other hand was howling his discontent, giving Jaxon a headache. Blake didn’t know this though and just changed the subject. “Did you want me for something?”
Jaxon froze, then cleared his throat. His mind racing along with his heart. He had already made up his mind, he even did some research. Not that his brother’s had been much help when he asked, Kai had just said don’t and Elliott had given him at least five books and twelve pamphlets with information that made his head spin. His mother had been more helpful telling him about what his father had done for her and that had made up his mind.
“I was wondering-“ Jaxon cleared his throat again, trying to loosen his tongue that for some reason had dried up into a mess. “If you would like to go out camping… with me.”
“Camping?” Blake's eyes went wide. Confusion was written across his face.
“I had planned to take into a bed and breakfast for our first time, maybe eat at a restaurant first but considering Elan village is off bounds and my father has forbidden us kids to venture too far from our territory I thought camping was the best alternative… I mean my home is kind of full and this place is…” Jaxon could feel his throat drying up, unable to speak further he just stared at Blake’s face still riddled with confusion.
“First… Time?”
“Or we could just wait, it’s just… We have spoken about it and-“ Jaxon’s words failed him when Blake’s eyes went wide and his mouth formed an oh.
Blake started to fidgeting, his eyes darting all over the place while his cheeks went red. “That’s…”
“You don’t want to,” Jaxon felt air deflate from him, feeling both relieved and disappointed at once.
“No, I want to, I just hadn’t considered-“ Blake cleared his throat. “I would love to go camping… With you.”
“Is going camping a new word for shagging among kids?” Ahriman’s voice made Jaxon flinch and he almost fell off the bed.
A pillow flew across the room to hit the door, “Stop eavesdropping!”
“How else am I suppose to know what is going on? You are always leaving me behind,” Ahriman replied from beyond the door to Blake’s outburst.
Blake just groaned, hiding his face into his hands while Jaxon chuckled, kissing his hands so Blake would peek out between the fingers. “And that is why I decided to on camping. Let’s not tell anyone where we are going.”
They chuckled together, Blake leaning up to kiss him.

“Can you please focus, bey!” Denesha said, slapping Blake over the head when he spaced off with a silly grin on his face. “I don’t even want to know what is going through your head but I expect you to listen when I speak.”
Blake just groaned, rubbing his head, and looked up at Denesha with blame in his eyes. Not that she cared as she pulled out a vial with a pink liquid.
“What is that?”
“Better not to know, it will be easier to swallow then but it will help you go into the meditate state that is needed to astral project.”
“…It’s drugs, isn’t it?”
“…Just because I’m black doesn’t mean that I use weed,” Denesha said, but she avoided his eyes, telling him that he mustn’t have been far off. “Don’t worry, it isn’t dangerous. My people have been using it for generations and we are still fine.”
Blake cocked an eyebrow and Denesha rolled her eyes. “Just drink it.”
With a grimace, he opened the bottle and drunk. The liquid tasted horrible, making him caught and desperately wanting to throw up but he held it back. “Please tell me there isn’t sperm in that.”
“Sperm?”
“Yeah, Ahriman once made me pour a liquid with his sperm in it on my eyes. I still having problem seeing,” Blake muttered and groaned when Denesha’s eyes started to gleam.
“Can you get me the archon’s sperm?”
“No! ask him yourself if you want it, I’m keeping far away from that stuff. It is lethal I tell you,” Blake said, hearing his words become increasingly blurry. Shaking his head, he tried to make the uneasy feeling go away but he just started to wave back and forth from where he sat.
“It’s working,” Denesha said, her voice sounding distant. “Focus on your body, we don’t want your spirit to rush off somewhere I cannot reach you.”
Blake tried to do as she said, but it was hard to focus on anything at all. He closed his eyes and in a mere second, he could feel himself leave his body and when he opened his eyes again, he was staring at peculiar sight.
