Can you guess what Normal Man’s and Normal Cat’s town’s name was?

There is only one answer, Normal Town.

In Normal Town Independence Day was coming up, it was celebrated on January the 5^th of every year.

Today was the 1^st of January so the people of Normal Town were fumbling around to get supplies for Independence Day.

So was the Normal Man.

Normal Man did and didn’t like Independence Day. He did like the festival part, but he didn’t like it before the festival actually happened, because of all the noise, walking and cooking and buying groceries.

This was also Normal Cat’s worst time too, because around this time Normal Man is always grumpy and forgot to feed him.

Which made Normal Cat grumpy as well.

Which made Independence Day the worst day of the whole year for them.

Anyway, let’s get back to Normal Man and Normal Cat, shall we?

It was getting late, and the day was drawing to a close when Normal Man came home, bags and bags of shopping that he was carrying.

Finally, he could take a rest from carrying the bags, when he put the bags of shopping on the kitchen counter.

After, he had put it on the kitchen counter, he walked into the living room and sat on the couch.

Normal Cat who was in the living room as well, turned to Normal Man and said, “What did you get?”

Normal Man replied, “green and red Apples, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, all the vegetables I could find, chocolate, ice cream, cocoa, and your favorite cat food.”

Normal Cat hearing that Normal Man had just bought his favorite cat food in the world, suddenly said, “You haven’t fed me today yet!”

Then Normal Man got off of his chair so shocked of himself for forgetting and said, “Oh gosh I forgot, forgive me!”

He ran to the kitchen and before you knew it, he came out with some cat food.

Normal Cat ate every last crumb of the cat food and did a burp and said, “please forgive me!” Then he walked to his cat toilet.

After Normal Man had eaten his dinner then it was time for bed.

When morning struck again Normal Man got up and walked to the kitchen to do some baking.

With Normal Cat it wasn’t the same, he would sleep until mid-morning struck.

When Normal Cat finally did wake up, he was hit by the smell of food that was being cooked down stairs.

Then he walked into the kitchen and asked Normal Man if he could taste his favorite cat food but Normal Man said no and that it was for Independence Day. He also said that he needed to eat his other cat food which Normal Man had prepared for him.

Normal Cat felt angry.

But he ate his other food just not with a happy attitude.

Meanwhile when Normal Man was cooking Normal Cat tipped over the sugar, Normal Man was so angry with him, that he sent him outside with some money and a basket to get more sugar.

So, he did go and buy the sugar but with a very bad attitude.

When he came back home, Normal Man said that he couldn’t enter the kitchen until all this Independency stuff was over and Normal Cat said that he agreed with him.

So, Normal Cat walked out of the kitchen and went to his cat bed to have a nap.

Down stairs Normal Man was having a bit of trouble with the cake dough, it was getting a bit dry, so, he was thinking that if he put more water, it won’t be dry anymore but if he puts more flour, it will be drier.

So, in the end he put more water, and the dough was how he wanted it to look.

He put the dough in the cake tin, and then put the cake tin in the oven.

He had to let it cook for 45 mins.

“That’s enough time to make the burger patties and the burger buns,” he thought.

So, he took the pan out, put some oil in it, and then set the temperature to medium.

He rolled the mince that he had into round flat circles and put them in the sizzling pan.

He had to wait for them to cook for 5 mins then flip all of them then wait for another 5 mins.

After, the burger patties were done he checked the cake, “It needs another 15 mins,” he thought.

Then, he started on the burger buns all he needed to do was put some flour, water and then mix it then he needs to put yeast and let the dough rise for 15 mins, this process took 5 mins.

“The cake will be done in 10 minutes” he thought.

When the cake came out, he put it on his wooden board to cool down a bit which would take 5 mins.

After, 5 mins was up he decided to leave it another 5 mins and, rather put the dough in the oven.

When got to the dough it had risen properly so he rolled it into round circle and then put it in the oven, it would take about 10 mins.

He decided to do the icing for the cake now.

After, he had done the icing for the cake he iced the cake.

Then he took the bread buns out of the oven.

All he needed to do now was chop the tomatoes and slice the cheese and take out the ready chopped pineapple.

It was dinner time now.

He was done, it was time to feed Normal Cat his cat food.

He prepared it and put it in the lounge.

Normal Cat came to eat it without even being called.

When Normal Man saw that Normal Cat was eating, he fixed himself a meal then went to sit with Normal Cat who was in the lounge

After they ate, it was time for bed.

The next day would be cleaning day.

When Normal Man woke up, he so, so tired and didn’t want to wake up, but he got up anyway.

Normal Cat also woke up hearing that Normal Man had woken up.

Normal Cat saw Normal Man in the lounge getting his mop and everything that you need to clean a house.

When Normal Man saw Normal Cat he asked, “You know it’s cleaning day, right?”

Normal Cat replied immediately, “Yes.”

“So, what do I like you to do when I’m cleaning?” said Normal Man grinning to himself.

“Ok, ok, I’ll give you space to clean the house, just as soon as you feed me,” said Normal Cat sulking a bit.

Normal then replied, “Yes, there is your food,” pointing at the food bowl.

Normal Cat ate his cat food and went outside to play, while Normal Man would clean.

When Normal Cat got outside, he walked to Mark’s house to see if he wanted to play, but Mark was tired (Mark was a fat cat that was why he was tired so often). After that he went to the other cat that was next door to Mark. The cat’s name was Richard a very slim cat that got tired very rarely, anyway Normal Cat asked if Richard could play and Richard said yes.

So, Richard invited Normal Cat into his house to play.

Now, let’s look at Normal Man, while Normal Cat and Richard play, shall we?

Normal Man was good not excellent with cleaning so he made mistakes some times.

He decided to do the dishes first but after 30 seconds of doing it, someone knocked on the door, so he had to attend to that but when he went, he forgot to turn the tap off.

When he came back, he had to sit drying the wet floor.

After he had done that he decided to attempt to do the dishes again, this time he made sure he did it properly, when he had done the dishes, he decided to do the sweeping.

So, he took the broom and swept all the places that didn’t have carpet.

When he had done, he leaned the broom on the wall and let go of it, it stayed up for 2 seconds then came back down and hit his foot (the broom was very heavy).

Thus, his foot was hurt.

He walked to the couch to rest.

After, he had a rest he started the mopping.

But that’s a bit boring so, let us go have a look at Normal Cat again.

Normal Cat played with Richard for 1 hour then Richard said he wanted to do his exercises and invited Normal Cat to join him so Normal Cat did.

But Normal Cat soon realized he wasn’t fit enough because half way through the exercises he got out of breath.

So, Normal Cat said he needed to have a rest and Richard was a very kind cat so, he said that they must both sit against the wall and have a rest.

They sat there for 30 minutes then they carried on for another 30 minutes with their exercises.

Then Richard said that they had done enough exercises for one day and invited him to play with his other friends and Normal Cat accepted.

When Normal Cat was finished playing, he headed home, because it was getting dark.

He found Normal Man sleeping the couch looking clearly exhausted from the cleaning job. He found his food already prepared which he was happy about.

So, he ate his cat food.

After he had eaten, Normal Man had woken up, and was preparing himself a meal.

Once, Normal Man had eaten it was time for bed.

(The last two days would a rest days because everything was prepared and ready for the celebration.)
