“And who might you be?” 

A few seconds goes by while Maria tries to get her balance back and looks at the tall man in front of her. 

“Oh, sorry about that. I’m Maria and you?” 

“All good, the name’s Chase. You’re new I haven’t seen you around here before”. 

“Uh yeah technically I'm not new in the area but I made sure -- well I thought I made sure not to be seen. 

“Well, nice to meet you Ma-” 

Chase was not allowed to finish his sentence because Maria’s stomach was not having it. Her face heated up from embarrassment, she wasn’t used to human interaction since she grew up alone. 

“Uhh, yeah sorry about that I’m going to go eat. See yah!”

As she made a bee-line for the kitchen. Which just made Chase chuckled in amusement. 

“So this is the girl making Nick seem human, very interesting” he whispered to himself. 

Before Maria even stepped one foot into the kitchen she was greeted by all of the servants. Of course she was nice to them. She didn’t want to seem all high and mighty when she just wanted to go back home. 

Home, now that is something that she really wants. Or is it to have a loving family? Maria chuckled to herself and mumbled 

“Now that would be something.”

“What would be something mi amore?”
