The trip to the amusement park was fun. Cameron didn't get as many moments alone with Taylor as he would've liked. But it was still fun to see his dad try to compete with Taylor. Who despite being relaxed and noncompetitive still managed to win at every game they came across. By the time, the day was over Cameron had three large stuffed animals to carry around and his mom only had one small penguin that his dad managed to win for her. Louis was clearly annoyed by this seeing Taylor carrying most of the prizes she had given to Cameron.

Emily sighed softly and shook her head, "Penguins are my favorite. You got me exactly what I wanted." She encouraged the sulky alpha. Louis seemed to cheer up until he saw the smug smirk that Taylor gave him. "You little shit," Louis growled lowly causing Taylor's smile to grow. "Louis you're an adult." Emily tried to warn, Cameron glanced back at his father and shook his head. "You should stop instigating him," Cameron remarked to Taylor who chuckled. "Just trust me. I'm doing this as a favor." Taylor said before motioning to Emily comforting Louis. "You were trying to get my parents to be gross?" Cameron asked, "Sometimes alphas like to be cuddled too you know." Taylor said knowledgeably as Louis clung to Emily who hugged him.

"Why doesn't he just ask?" Cameron questioned, "It's hard to just ask that sort of thing." Taylor replied, "Things go sideways and you get made fun of for being needy." Taylor said turning back around continuing their trek towards the car. "Have I ever made you feel that way?" Cameron asked concerned. "Nah, that's just something I saw happen with my sisters," Taylor replied before smiling at Cameron. "You've always been more than willing to cuddle with me, so I never feel lonely." She said softly. Cameron smiled hearing this and bumped into her slightly.

The weekend passed and the following week followed soon after. By the time Taylor made it back to school from suspension it was like a bomb went off socially and everyone wanted to talk to her. Especially curious omegas who wanted more than anything an overprotective alpha partner.

Taylor scooped Cameron into her arms for the third time today, he nearly lunged at an omega girl who apparently had been flirting with her. "Fuck off! She's mine!" Cameron shouted, claws and formed on his fingers and he was ready to rip her to ribbons. "You heard the man, he called dibs," Taylor said in her usual fashion to the frightened omega girl. Cameron squirmed and twisted in her arms. "Come on Camie, I just got back let's not get separated again." Taylor was exasperated as she adjusted her grip on him. Slowly Cameron calmed down and Taylor escorted him away from the situation.

"Man, some people have no shame." Chris remarked walking with Taylor, "Chris I don't think it's a good idea for you to be around me. Cameron's a little sensitive about omegas right now." Taylor warned, "Cameron knows I'm not interested -." A low growl came from Cameron who had been wrapped up tightly in Taylor's raincoat. "Okay point taken," Chris said before heading off. Taylor sighed and headed for the library just to get somewhere quiet.

Finding a quiet corner. Taylor sat down on the floor of the library in the furthest back corner she could find and held Cameron close scenting him. "I don't want them, angel," Taylor whispered in his ear kissing him. Slowly Cameron relaxed and he sighed, "Are you close to heat? That was quite the reaction." Taylor questioned, "I think so." Cameron huffed before adjusting himself. He squirmed and pulled his arms out of the jacket and sat on Taylor's lap. Eying her up and down he then pulled down the collar of her shirt. "Weird time to take a peak Camie." Taylor joked.

"I want to mark you," Cameron said suddenly, Taylor blinked once then twice. "Can I?" Cameron asked. He was eying the spot on her collar bone, a place where a lot of omegas marked their alphas. While an omega bite didn't quite bond the pair as an alpha's bite did. Many omegas bit anyway to ward off other omegas sniffing around. "Taylor?" Cameron asked looking up at her, "Uh, sure I guess." She said uncertainly, "You guess?" Cameron frowned not liking the noncommittal answer he got.

"I rather it not be on the library floor." Taylor clarified looking a little flustered, "Okay." Cameron said nodding, he let go of her shirt collar and the fabric moved back into place. Cameron let out a soft huff and flopped his head onto her chest. "You're mine." He declared; Taylor snorted finding it funny. She lifted his chin up and kissed him, a rarity at school but Cameron ate the affection up. When Taylor pulled away, she buried her face into his hair. "You can't have any other alphas either." She mumbled; her voice muffled by Cameron's hair. "I'll go crazy Camie." She warned softly. Cameron and Taylor, both squeezed each other tightly, insisting to each other that the only person they ever wanted was one another.

Months passed and things died down, most of the other students seemed to have forgotten the incident. So, Taylor was no longer hounded by jealous omegas who wanted to steal her away from Cameron. Especially after Cameron got pulled into a fight with an insistent omega. Taylor was able to rush in before any real damage was done. Both Cameron and the other omega were injured but the other omega had more injuries.

"You're crazy!" The girl shouted clutching her bleeding arm, Taylor adjusted the squirming Cameron in her arms. It seemed that Cameron and sliced the arm open with his claws. "Damn right I am!" Cameron shouted, "Stay away from Taylor!" He exclaimed. Teachers ran up to see what the issue was, and Taylor pulled Cameron further away from the other omega. "Cameron calm down-." Taylor stopped when she saw a cut on Cameron's cheek trickle with blood. "Taylor?" Cameron asked seeing Taylor's eyes pin, "Someone get that bitch out of this school." Taylor growled causing the loud hallway to go silent. "Before I kill her." Her voice was low and almost demonic sounding. Her eyes landed on the girl who seemed frightened. The teachers quickly escorted her away and everyone suddenly remembered what Taylor had done to Frankie.

Once the girl was out of sight, Taylor slowly took deep breaths and sighed looking at Cameron. "She cut your face," Taylor mumbled softly, Cameron stiffened up hearing this. Ever since they were little Taylor had always called him beautiful. So, Cameron had taken great pride in his looks. Tears filled his eyes as he wondered if Taylor would still think that now. Before Cameron realized it, he was in the nurse's office with Taylor putting medication o his cut. He managed to hold back his tears for the most part but a few escaped.

"Doll face, you're going to get salt in your cut," Taylor spoke softly to him. "Don't call me that." Cameron whimpered, Taylor froze and stared. "What?" She asked sounding startled. "She cut my face. I'm not pretty anymore." Cameron sobbed; he knew it was probably not as bad as he thought. Logically he knew that. But his heart hurt whenever he thought of Taylor never thinking he was pretty again. "Cameron." Taylor spoke firmly, "What did I tell you?" She asked before pushing him down onto the bed in the nurse's office. Taylor looked angry and it only confused and upset Cameron.

"Don't ever think I won't want you." She clarified, climbing on top of him. "Then why did you get mad?" Cameron sobbed, "She made you bleed!" Taylor exclaimed before seeing the frightened look on Cameron's face. "She hurt you." Taylor said softly, "it doesn't matter where it is. It's the fact that you were hurt." She whispered putting the bandage on his face before beginning to scent him heavily. She rubbed their faces together on the side of Cameron's uninjured cheek. "My Cameron... My angel... You're so beautiful." Words of affection flowed heavily out of Taylor's mouth; Cameron felt his chest flutter in an all too familiar feeling. He didn't care about looking beautiful for himself, the only person who wanted to think that of him was Taylor.

Because he never wanted her to stop calling him by those names he loved so much.

Tears pricked out of the corner of his eyes as Taylor peppered kisses on his face and neck. He melted into her touches and then he spoke, "I love you, Taylor." He purred out unable to hold back the feeling that burned inside him. Taylor stopped and stared at him. For a moment Cameron feared she would reject him. But the sweetest smile appeared on Taylor's face. "I love you too Camie." The two of them kissed continuing to whisper soft things to each other in the empty office.

Despite the incident, Cameron only received dentition. Probably only because no one wanted to deal with an irritated Taylor. When Taylor had been suspended Cameron was moody and irritated the entire time. It seemed the teachers didn't want to deal with that in the alpha.

As time went on, Cameron and Taylor were eventually left alone by the rest of the students again. The rumors about them being secret pair-bonded couple continued, even stronger now after everything. When school let out for the year Taylor and Cameron were doing as they always had every summer. Relaxing by the small stream near their houses. Taylor was fast asleep as Cameron curled up next to her reading a book. Feeling tired, Cameron closed his book and rested his head on Taylor's chest. It was hot, but there was a nice breeze coming through making everything just warm enough. Cameron purred loudly and openly slowly closing his eyes. Birds chirped above them, and the sound of the trickling stream made this moment even more perfect.

After about twenty minutes Cameron felt Taylor move under him. Opening his eyes, Taylor slowly sat up and Cameron followed suit. "What's wrong?" He asked curiously, "I was laying on a rock." Taylor yawned before pulling a rock out from under the blanket they had been laying on. "Oh," Cameron said watching Taylor toss the rock to the side. She then motioned for Cameron to move close again. Cameron easily scooted over and made his way into her arms. Taylor leaned against the trunk of the tree they were laying under and Cameron sat between her legs.

Taylor let out a huff and Cameron tilted his head to look at her. "What are you thinking about?" He asked recognizing the sound, Taylor always made it whenever she was thinking hard about something. "Future stuff." She remarked vaguely, Cameron rolled his eyes at the two-word response. "Like?" He probed. "Well, we have one year of high school left. So, what colleges should we look at? What should we do? How can I make enough money so I can support you? Where should we live?" Taylor listed off things she was thinking about, Cameron turned to fully face her looking surprised.

"You're... You're really thinking about a future with me?" Cameron stuttered out feeling flustered, Taylor's cheeks turned pink, and she scratched one while looking away. "I mean... If you want to be with me." She mumbled, "You mentioned wanting to eventually be marked and marking me... So, I just thought..." Taylor trailed off, her cheeks burning red at this point her ears were even tinted with a scarlet shade. She looked at Cameron who was still silent and sighed. "Just forget it." She mumbled looking humiliated.

Taylor stared off into the distance with a firm frown on her face, "I don't want to forget it." Cameron spoke up moving to sit on his knees in front of her. "It makes me happy you're thinking like that. Because I want to be with you." Cameron spoke with a large smile on his face. "We should be talking about that." Cameron said with a nod, "But we don't have to be in a rush. After all, we've practically been married since we were nine." Cameron joked, "Hey! I worked hard for that candy ring." Taylor mocked offense. Cameron laughed and hugged her, Taylor wrapped her arms around him and the two of them sighed.

"It's scary." Taylor spoke up, "I know we're like bonded or whatever. But I get scared that you'll wake up one day and decide you don't feel that way about me anymore." Taylor confessed; Cameron was quiet listening to her. He didn't speak up yet because he felt like she had more to say. "Everyone around us has dated like five people. We've only just recently started officially dating each other. What if we get older and grow apart? What if we do get married and hate each other and regret not being with more people?" Worry after worry spilled from Taylor. Cameron sat there listening until she trailed off as she usually does and clammed up.

Taylor always liked to seem relaxed and put together. She only ever talked about her worries with Cameron. But even then, she worried that she did that too much and Cameron would think less of her. He never did though.

"Well," Cameron spoke up after he was sure Taylor was done. "Doesn't that make us lucky?" He asked confusing Taylor. "After all we found each other so early and we lived next to each other for most of our lives." He said with a smile as he took Taylor's hand in his. "I like that we've always been together." He continued, "There's no one else I feel safer or more comfortable around." He spoke with a large smile on his face.

"You already know I hate change so; I don't think you'll ever have to worry about me getting tired of you." He joked lightly before grabbing Taylor's face. "Because once I found something I really like. I'm in it for life." He finished before kissing her. "I love you, Taylor." He mumbled as he pulled away. Taylor fidgeted and then groaned clearly embarrassed, "I love you too Camie." She grumbled clearly feeling dumb for worrying. The two of them kissed a few more times before settling down.

"We can worry about plans later," Cameron spoke up with his head on Taylor's chest once more. He listened to her heartbeat as he spoke. "For now, I think we should just worry about getting through high school together." He added, Taylor let out what sounded like a breath of relief. "Alright." She agreed. The two of them relaxed once more deciding to enjoy their summer rather than worrying about the future for now.

The days passed by, and weeks turned into months. Before Taylor and Cameron knew it, it was their Senior year.
