Currently, Taylor was relaxing on the bleachers as Bryan begged her for one of her sister's numbers. "Please Taylor! I really like Alex!" Bryan begged; it was uncharacteristic of him. But since the party where her second older sister came home from college. Bryan had been talking nonstop about her. Apparently, he and Alex clicked and spent most of the night talking. But Alex had to leave before they could exchange contact information.

Taylor knew how Alex was, was a bit unsure about giving one of her friends her sister's number. While Alex was nice and friendly, people tended to misread her friendliness for romantic interest. Which led to a lot of broken hearts in Alex's path. But to be fair, Taylor did see Alex and Bryan together for most of the night. Taylor sighed and sat up, "Fine. But don't come crying to me if she breaks your heart." Taylor gave in, Bryan's eyes lit up and he smiled.

"Thank you!" He exclaimed hugging Taylor, "Whoa there!" Taylor said pulling him from her, she didn't want a jealous Cameron to come running up and attack poor Bryan. While it had been a while since the last round of omegas trying to steal her away from him. Cameron was still overly sensitive about anyone flirting with Taylor. "Sorry." Bryan apologized with a smile on his face. "I just really like Alex." He said sheepishly.

Taylor gave him a worried look; Bryan was such a sweet guy. Bryan caught this and nervously laughed, "I'm not expecting anything though." He added quickly, "Even if we just end up being friends, I'll be happy!" He insisted, Taylor wasn't sure that she believed that. It was clear that Bryan was lovesick. Taylor sighed and pulled out a scrap of paper and jotted down Alex's phone number. "Here. I'll let her know that you have it." Taylor explained that way Alex knew who was suddenly contacting her. "Thank you, Taylor!" Bryan took the paper before running off. It was clear he was headed for his locker to get his phone.

"Tough to play Cupid huh?" Chris asked flopping down on the bench next to Taylor. She side-eyed him, "My cousin Philip called again." She remarked causing Chris to grin sheepishly. "So did my other cousin Diana." She added turning to him. "I'm not invited to another family cookout, am I?" Chris asked, Taylor, glared. "No." She flatly said glaring slightly. "I don't even know how you managed it anyway," Taylor remarked, both cousins claimed they hooked up with Chris during the cookout. That only meant two things and either one Taylor did not want to think about.

"So, are you planning on taking Cameron to prom?" Chris asked changing the subject, Taylor pursed her lips and nodded. "Yeah. That's the plan." She said, Chris, cocked his eyebrows at this reaction. "Okay, what's the problem then?" He asked, "Uh well... I don't think he wants to go." Taylor said looking a little unsure, "What makes you think that?" Chris asked with a bit of laugh in his voice, the idea of Cameron not wanting to go to something like prom with Taylor seemed ridiculous to him.

"Well, he keeps mentioning a surprise...? I don't know what it is, and it's supposed to be for my eighteenth birthday because it's coming up and uh... I don't know..." Taylor shifted and fidgeted, "Wow the big one-eight!" Chris teased, "Didn't Cameron hit that over the summer?" He asked, Taylor, nodded. "Yeah, I got him a promise ring for his birthday. I had it custom made so it looked like the candy ring I gave him when we were kids." Taylor said with a smile on her face. Chris smiled then fake gagged. "You two are so gross." He joked, before patting Taylor on the back. "I'm sure he's got something special planned that you'll love," Chris said flippantly. Taylor groaned putting her face into her hands, "Knowing Cameron he will, and I won't know how to top it!" Taylor exclaimed frustrated.

"It's not a competition Taylor." Chris said exasperated, "Winning isn't the point, Chris! The point is that I have to show Cameron, I love him as much as he loves me!" Taylor exclaimed with a competitive spark in her eyes. Chris sighed, "You two are ridiculous." He complained just as Cameron finished band practice. He ran over with his trumpet in its case. "Thanks for waiting on me babe!" Cameron exclaimed running to Taylor first and kissing her. "Oh, God! You're doing pet names now too! I can't take it!" Chris exclaimed.

Cameron looked over at Chris and rolled his eyes. "Shouldn't you be hooking up with more of Taylor's cousins?" Cameron snapped leaning onto Taylor as he spoke. Chris laughed, "Nope, I've been banned from family gatherings now." He said with a wink, "I am, however, open to seducing some of your cousins though." He added grinning at Cameron. Cameron eyed him and scoffed, "They'd eat you alive." Cameron remarked coolly, "Don't threaten me with a good time Cameron." Chris replied before a familiar face from the football team shouted from across the field. "Chris!" Chris stiffened up and grabbed his things. "Oh, look at that, time to go!" Chris exclaimed before taking off.

The quarterback Michael soon ran after Chris as the omega hopped a fence to get away from him. Cameron and Taylor watched this happen surprised that Chris could manage to outrun the quarterback. "Look at him go," Taylor said amazed. "He'd be captain of the track team if he'd use his powers for good," Cameron remarked earning a laugh from Taylor.

Taylor wrapped her arms around Cameron's waist and smiled. "So, I was thinking." She spoke up after a moment, "If you'd like we could go to prom?" She offered with a lazy grin. Cameron stiffened up and he bit his lip. "That falls on your birthday this year." He said, Taylor, nodded. "Yeah?" She asked. Cameron groaned, "Taylor I have something special planned!" He whined.

"So, you don't want to go to prom?" She asked with a nervous grin. "Taylor, I know you're just trying to ruin the surprise because you know I did something really special!" Cameron exclaimed pinching her cheeks frustrated. He then squeezed her cheeks together and leaned in close. "You also know you won't be able to stop it." He said with a smug grin.

"Cameron it's not a competition." Taylor whined, "Liar!" Cameron replied with a grin, "Yes, it is, and I'll win! Because I love you more!" Cameron shouted pumping his fists in the air. "No!" Taylor dramatically whined, "I love you more!" She insisted, hugging Cameron. "You two are disgusting!" Chris shouted as he was being carried by Michael over his shoulder. "You two going to prom?" Taylor called after Chris who grinned, "Yeah!" He said before patting the butt of a very happy-looking Michael.

Prom night came and while the rest of the town was preparing for it. Taylor had something else to be worried about. "Do I really have to wear this blindfold?" Taylor asked as Cameron pulled her behind him. "Yes!" Cameron snapped, "Now stop dragging your feet!" He said pulling her. It wasn't far away from their houses because it had only been a five-minute ride. Taylor had been put into Cameron's car blindfolded and driven to a location she couldn't see. She heard the jingling of keys and a door open. "Watch out for this step," Cameron told her.

Then finally once they were inside whatever place Cameron had taken her to, he pulled her down to his level and took off the blindfold. Taylor looked around to see an incredibly old house. It was empty and needed repairs. But it was big. Cameron grinned from ear to ear. "What... What's this?" Taylor asked looking around.

"Well. You were worried about where we were going to live." Cameron explained, "And this was owned by the city. So, I saved some money and..." he motioned out from himself, "I got us a house!" He exclaimed with a grin. Taylor's mouth hung open, "What?" She asked with wide eyes. "You're happy right?" Cameron asked, "I had my dad check on it before I bought it. It just needs cosmetics! Everything else is fine!" Cameron explained. "Sure, the roof will need to be replaced soon but other than that!"

Taylor was stunned and Cameron decided to take that as a good sign. "Oh! And!" He said grabbing her hand and pulling her towards a window. Just a little across the way there was a familiar stream in view of a large oak tree and two houses. "Look familiar?" He asked grinning. Taylor slowly sat down on the floor and Cameron started to wonder if he had made a mistake. "I didn't spend a lot on it. It was owned by the city!" He exclaimed. He watched as Taylor's eyes started to fill up with tears.

Cameron was sure he had made a mistake at this point, "I'm sorry I knew I should've said something, but I just fell in love with this place-!" Cameron apologized before Taylor grabbed him and hugged him. "I love it! I won't be able to top this you asshole!" She sobbed hugging him, Cameron felt every fear he had fade away and he grinned hugging her back. "I knew you would." He said softly, Taylor grabbed his face and kissed him. Taylor sniffled as she pulled away and they rested their foreheads together. "I've got another surprise," Cameron told her. "Another? Damnit angel you're going to kill me." Taylor sniffled. Cameron stood up and helped Taylor to her feet.

She was led upstairs and into a bedroom. Unlike the rest of the house, it looked finished, candles were lit and there was a circular bed in the middle with a nest made. Cameron looked over, seeing Taylor look around. "This is our bedroom." He told her letting go of her hand. Taylor slowly walked around the room, it was furnished already and even had pictures on the wall. The furniture looked old but well-loved. Just how Taylor loved furniture to look.

"It's really ours?" Taylor asked turning around to face Cameron. He smiled and nodded, "Yeah." He said as Taylor looked at the nest on the bed. "You made this?" She asked, "Yeah, we need a nest, don't we?" Cameron remarked, Taylor teared up once more and bit her lip. She looked back at Cameron to tell him how much she loved it only to see Cameron taking off his collar. "Camie?" She asked, Cameron, sat the yellow collar down on the dresser. He looked at her and smiled. Taylor then understood, "You sure?" She asked.

"Taylor, I bought a house." Cameron said exasperated as he walked over to her, "I'm sure." He said wrapping his arms around her neck. Without any hesitation, Taylor kissed him. It was something they had done a thousand times by now. But it felt different because now, they were home. Taylor held nothing back as she kissed him, there was no fear of being interrupted. There was no fear of needing to play it safe. The kisses were deep and passionate. One by one every article of clothing fell by the wayside.

The touches and kisses between them became feverish as if they were overwhelmed by everything at once. Cameron squirmed under Taylor their legs becoming tangled in each other. Taylor pulled away the two of them gasping for air. Taylor's hand slipped down his body touching him lightly, "Is it okay?" Taylor asked softly, "I... I want to do it." He bucked his hips slightly as he spoke.

Taylor took a moment to try to understand what Cameron meant before realization hit her. He wanted on top. Grinning when she realized what he meant she got off him and moved to the side. Cameron smiled pleased and climbed into her lap before pushing her down. Taylor's head hit the top of the nest noticing some familiar fabric. Looking over she spotted a jacket she hadn't seen in years. "Is that the jacket?" She asked, Cameron, grinned looking like he was happy that she noticed. "Is this what you've been doing with all of my clothes?" Taylor asked exasperated. Cameron straddled her hips at this point. "Maybe." He purred rubbing his hands up her body. "You're unbelievable." Taylor gasped out when Cameron positioned himself.

Cameron grinned liking the reaction that Taylor had. All of that delighted him to no end. So many nights he had spent dreaming of this very moment. Looking at her, watching her reactions, seeing how much she wanted him. Cameron used to wish that Taylor would come through his window during his heats just like with his first one. Of course, if she had... This wouldn't have been their first time together.

But Taylor was surprisingly shy, Cameron would've never thought that when they first met. But then again, he was sure he hated her. It was funny thinking about the high-strung little boy who 'hated' the girl next door because she made him feel funny. Looking back, it was clear now, that it was never hate. He had been scared. Scared of how pretty she was to him. Scared of how she made him feel. Scared that she wouldn't feel the same.

But Cameron wasn't that little boy anymore and he knew that Taylor loved him as much as he loved her. While sure they had met early and maybe some people thought they were too young. Some things, some people, were just meant for each other. So, no matter what happened everything would be okay. Because he and Taylor belonged together.

As everything reached its conclusion, Cameron and Taylor held each other in their arms. Fresh marks on their necks and love for each other in their eyes. The two of them pressed their foreheads together unable to stop smiling. They spent the rest of the night in each other's arms.

That Monday when Taylor and Cameron arrived at school no one noticed at first. After all, Cameron and Taylor had always been close to each other. It was only when Taylor took off her jacket at lunch did everyone notice the healing bite mark on her neck.

"Cameron bit you?!" Megan shouted getting attention from other tables. Cameron smiled smugly before lowering the collar on his sweatshirt. "No!" Lola gasped unbelievingly, "So you two are mates now?" Bryan asked with a small smile, Taylor grinned sheepishly and could only nod. She looked ridiculously happy and had been smiling the entire day. Cameron looked just the same, the four other friends looked at each other before giving the couple their congratulations.

"Do your parents know?" Chris couldn't help but ask, Taylor and Cameron looked over at Chris's end of the table where he sat between Michael's legs. "Why is the quarterback here?" Cameron asked, "Don't avoid the question, Cameron!" Chris snapped in a cheerful tone. Cameron sighed and shook his head. "Of course, they know. My dad was the one who suggested it." He told them causing Taylor to choke on her drink.

"I thought your dad hated me!?" She exclaimed, Cameron grinned, "Turns out men in my family tend to think they hate someone when they really don't." He joked causing Taylor to snort, no one else at the table got it.
