Clearly, this was karma for making fun of Taylor and Cameron all those years.
From then all it seemed like everything sped up, graduation was there before they knew it. Naturally, Cameron graduated at the top of the class. His speech was about how some things in life are meant to be. In the speech, it was worded to be more about careers and destinies. But everyone knew what he was really talking about as he stood on stage with a golden band on his finger. The graduation party was held at Cameron and Taylor's house. Throughout the year they had spent their extra time cleaning the place up and putting furniture into it. Most of the house was already finished at this point.
They received compliments and congratulations from classmates and peers. When things winded down, the only people left were Taylor and Cameron and their parents. "The place looks great you guys," Jenny spoke up smiling ear to ear. Emily teared up walking over to Cameron and hugging him tightly. She sobbed something out that sounded like 'I'm proud of you,' but it was hard to tell what she said. Louis nodded firmly and said, "I always knew you two would be together." This earned a paper cup being thrown at him by Jenny. "Shut the hell up Louis!" Jenny shouted exasperated.
Their parents bickered and fought like children before leaving for the night. Taylor looked over at Cameron and smiled. Cameron returned the smile taking her hand. The two of them walked up the stairs together headed for their bedroom. It was a trip they made for years after that. Cameron ended up getting into real estate thanks to the project with the house. He focused on affordable living for needy families and later became involved in politics becoming their city's first omega mayor. Taylor opted for work in nature, which surprised no one. She jumped around for a while doing tree climbing and then land surveying. Before finally becoming the naturalist for the State Park in their city.
Chris and Michael ended up moving next door to Taylor and Cameron. The older couple that had owned the home next door moved away and Michael jumped at the chance to buy it. Chris cried when he saw the house. Bryan ended up living just down the street from them. As it turned out Alex liked Bryan just as much as he liked her. Which startled Taylor when she received an invitation to their wedding. There had been no announcements otherwise that they had been in a relationship.
Lola and Megan didn't end up moving into the neighborhood. But they visited often, the two of them as always never apart were now a reporting duo that traveled the world for stories. Megan specialized in the writing and Lola handled the camera work.
Taylor and Cameron ended up having three kids. Which thrilled Cameron who had always wanted a big family like Taylor had. There were two boys and one girl. The oldest was a little girl named Cassidy who had recently turned eight. Cameron watched as his daughter ran into the house with a little boy following close behind. "Cassie!" The little boy whined chasing after her. "Wait for me!" Cassidy shot him a dirty look with red cheeks. "Tell him to go away!" Cassidy exclaimed looking at her father, Cameron looked up from the book he was reading. "Why?" He asked confused. "I don't like him! He keeps stealing my things!" Cassidy exclaimed as the little boy stood there in the living room wearing Cassidy's favorite jacket.
Cameron's eyes widened and he slowly closed his book. "Uh have you asked him why?" He asked slowly, the little boy who had been nearly covered head to toe by the large jacket took off the hood and spoke up. Cameron recognized him as Michael and Chris's second-oldest Ollie. He smiled in the way that Michael often smiled with the angelic looks that Chris took advantage of often when they were younger.
"I like Cassie." He said sweetly, Cassidy's face turned red. "You're a baby you can't like me!" She exclaimed, to be fair Ollie was six years old. But to Cassidy that might as well be three months old. "But I do!" Ollie grabbed one of her hands looking simply happy to be there. Cassidy jerked her hand away only to have Ollie hug her waist. "Help!" She exclaimed unsure of what to do.
Taylor walked into the room at this time and grinned. "Huh... A small boy stealing a girl's jacket. Where have I seen that before doll face?" Taylor asked looking at Cameron who looked conflicted.
"She's too young!" He exclaimed looking horrified.
