Chapter 9: The Mysterious Man

 [Flashback: Jayen and talking in an alley]

 [The Mysterious Man's P.O.V.]

Walking in the street in my hoodie, I sense a familiar strong aura. I'm looking for where it's coming from.

I looked at all the alleys to see if he was "The First Slayer my-," the wind blew as I spoke.

"Ultra Instinct!" I said under my breath, my eyes glow.

Ultra Instinct can detect objects, people, and anything else within a 1-10 km radius.

I felt him with someone. They were close to me. I ran towards him and then I went to the alley. When I saw that he was gone, the scent of his aura was still there in this alley. The technique deactivates.

"Where did that ignorant person go!" I yelled.

I use the Ultra Instinct again to find him, but I can't see him anymore.

I jumped into the roof of the house to find where did they flee, I went to the electric pole, and I squatted. Hoping they come back or show up.

Where did those annoying ones go? When I see them, I will kill them.

After a few minutes, something happens. Just a few blocks away, I sense something ominous.

I sense a breaking barrier. A red-orange light appears on the breaking barrier.

I laugh, "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, amazing" I hide on a roof, and I'm wearing a bracelet that can conceal my presence so they can't figure me out.

The light coming from the barrier is gone, and they are gone. I can't feel them anymore.

"Woah, he skip the 13 demon transformation form process, but who is he?" I said.

I came down from the roof and took my phone. I called the Guardians.

"Kuya Totoy, we have a problem, Azmaveth is in the Philippines, I just saw him transform a human into a demon." I said.

"Okay boss, I'll just inform him." Kuya totoy said

"Thanks, and also say that our operation will start next week." I hung up.

After the call, I went home.

[Luca's P.O.V.]

 At home, cooking steak for dinner.

*Phone Ringing*

I took my phone to answer the call. When I got my phone, I quickly responded to my phone when I saw the informant calling.

"Master, next month the Guardian will start the operation." The informant said.

My eyes widen. "What else?" I remove the apron.

"They know you turned human into a demon, that's all." The informant said.

"Inform me if there is more, goodbye, I'll hang up." I hung up.

After the call, I looked at what I was cooking when I saw that the fried pork steak was already on fire.

I put water to put out the fire. I threw away the dish because it was like charcoal. I called a fast food restaurant to deliver. Minutes later, the food arrived.

"Delivery!" The delivery man said.

"How much sir?" I asked.

"350 Pesos sir." He replied.

I reached my pocket to get my wallet. I took 350 pesos and gave them to him.

"Thank you sir." He said.

The delivery left, and when the door closed, there was a sudden knock.

I looked at the man in a hoodie with red-orange eyes and with horns.

"Jayen?" My eyes widen.

"Luca! I have a problem, I can't change my appearance, I can no longer feel the so -called 'Star Energy' in my body!" Jayen Whimpered.

"Hmmmm..." I breathed, "Come here."

I put my hand on his chest and slowly checked his Star Energy core, and I noticed something.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA," I laugh. "That you just ran out of Star Energy, I thought there was something wrong with your core," I express. "Just rest the use of Star Energy, it's not unlimited."

"Is there no problem with me?" Jayen asked,

"There is no problem with your core." I unpacked the food that I ordered.

"Thank God." He cheered. 

"Have you eaten?" I asked.

"Not yet." He replied. 

"let's eat." I prepare the food.

Jayen sits and eats. After we eat I washed the dishes, and Jayen cleaned the table, and Jayen asked me.

"I can asked a question?" Jayen said, 

"Just pretending I shot you will the bullet hit you?"

"The bullet will not hit me, but other demon or guardian will be affected." I explained.

"Do the demons or guardians use guns, can't they coat Star Energy with bullets?" Jayen sits down.

"the others use guns but most don't and the guns don't work there; and you can coat the bullets with Star Energy." I wiped the plates after washing them.

"The guns don't work there?" he repeated.

"Yes, The guns don't work there." I said.

"Where?" He asked.

"In the 'Hidden World' dimension of Guardians and Demons." I put the plate in the container.

"Why don't the guns work there?" He asked.

"It's not that the gun doesn't work, it's like we can't transport the gun to 'Hidden World'." I replied.

"What? What do you mean?" He asked.

"The Earth's resources cannot be delivered to the 'Hidden World', only living things can be delivered to the 'Hidden world'," I said.

"Okay..." he was confused.

After talking, I sweep the floor, and he mops it.

"Yes, by the way, Jayen were we are summoned by the Demon Imperial Law Court this September." I said.

"Will we be punished?" His upper eyelids would be pulled up, and their lower eyelids would be tense and drawn up as well.

"I do not know," I said in a straight face, "Don't worry you'll be okay... we still have 3 months." I smirk.

"Is the punishment death penalty?" He mumbled nervously. His eyes will weep tears.

"Yes, but don't worry they won't punish you right away if I give you a good reason why I turn you into a demon, maybe they'll just give me a small punishment and they won't punish you." I said in a casual tone.

"Really?"

"Yes." I replied. "By the way, you need to train how to fight."

"What for?" He asked.

"Just do it," I get something like a necklace in my dimensional storage, "Here, that a relic that can change your appearance without using star energy."

"Really? I won't have a problem changing my appearance."

"Yup, and you should go home now it's already late."

After he goes home, I play some games.
