When the food came, Chang Min and Ye Xun had to put the cats back down. Chang Min had a sad expression on his face as he looked at the kittens. He wanted to pick them back up and hold them.
"Chang Min, finish your food first, then you can play with them." Ye Xun told him as he watched Chang Min's sad expression.
Chang Min picked up one of his mini sandwiches, eating it as he watched the cats walking by them. "I want to get a cat, but I can barely take care of myself, so how can I care for one?"
Chang Min meant to say those words to himself, but he spoke out loud instead. When he heard his words sounding loud, Chang Min blushed, glancing up at Ye Xun to see if he actually spoke those words out loud.
Ye Xun nodded his head before saying, "You can come over to my place. I have two cats."
"You do?" Chang Min held a surprised expression, "Why haven't you told me about this?" He almost whined at the end.
"You barely leave the house. You even rarely go to your parent's home, so I did not bring it up." Ye Xun shrugged.
He is not the type for pets, but Ye Xun won't admit that he would miss Chang Min when he got busy with work and could not see him. So, he ended up adopting two cats that reminded him of Chang Min.
Chang Min looked sheepish as he dipped his finger into the frosting on his cupcake. "Ah, right, sorry. I can visit you whenever you want me to."
"Visit my cats or me?"
"Both?" Chang Min muttered under his breath. He mostly wanted to see the cats, but it has been a long time since he has been to Ye Xun's place. Nevertheless, Chang Min cannot help but wonder how it looks.
Ye Xun chuckled, "I know it is mostly for the cats."
Chang Min popped up, "Ah, no! I like seeing you, too." But then, he grew embarrassed once again when he felt others glancing at them from his outburst.
He sunk into his seat, licking the frosting off his finger before dipping it into his cupcake again.
Ye Xun could not help smiling as he took another bite from his food. He thought about how Chang Min could be adorable at times, especially when he grows embarrassed.
"You better not be secretly laughing at me in your head." Chang Min pouted.
"I'm not."
It was silent for a while as they finished eating before Ye Xun started speaking again, "Let's watch a movie at your house. In the story, they go to the movies after eating at the café, but I know you would rather not go to the movie theater.
"So, we can watch a movie at your place."
Chang Min finished his food, grabbing his drink as he took a sip from it. He set his cup down, picking up one of the cats as he scratched a spot behind the cat's ear.
"Can we watch a scary movie?" Chang Min asked.
Chang Min enjoys horror; it is one of his favorite genres. Although, he has rarely written a horror novel.
Ye Xun nodded, expecting that answer from Chang Min. He has known Chang Min for a long time, so he knew that Chang Min would want to watch something scary.
Chang Min cheered in his head. His parents never liked watching scary movies. It is a good thing Ye Xun never truly minded them.
Honestly, Chang Min rarely sees Ye Xun react to things like an average person unless it deals with Chang Min.
They were back at Chang Min's house, sitting in his room and on his bed. Chang Min and Ye Xun were seated side by side, their shoulders touching, as they had one blanket wrapped around them.
There was a laptop in front of them, playing a scary movie as they watched it in a barely lit room.
Chang Min did not have a TV in his room. He did not see the point since he is constantly typing up stories. And if he wanted to watch TV, he could go into the living room and do it.
The sound of screaming filled the room as Chang Min moved closer to Ye Xun, shivering a bit. Even though they had a blanket over them, Chang Min was still cold.
Ye Xun felt warm.
After Chang Min moved again, almost getting into Ye Xun's lap, Ye Xun glanced at him while asking, "Do you want to cuddle?"
Chang Min thought for a second, wondering if it was appropriate for two grown men to cuddle together. But then again, they are both straight, so it shouldn't be a problem.
Chang Min nodded.
Ye Xun pushed the covers off them as he moved back a bit, opening his arms. Chang Min moved into his lap as Ye Xun picked up the blanket, wrapping it and his arms around Chang Min.
Chang Min pushed his back into Ye Xun, sinking into the heat that the man generated. He felt comfortable as he continued to watch the movie.
Ye Xun put his chin over Chang Min's shoulder, watching the movie on the laptop screen as he tightly held Chang Min.
It reminded him of when they were teens, and Chang Min would sneak over to his home to sleep in the bed with him.
Chang Min had to stop after his parents would start to worry about where he went. They once thought he ran away.
As the movie grew close to the end, Chang Min yawned, growing tired from Ye Xun's heat.
His eyes couldn't stay open any longer. Even though he wanted to know if the people got rid of the demon, sleep seemed to be winning him over.
Chang Min fell asleep.
When the movie was over, and Ye Xun noticed that Chang Min fell asleep, he reached over, turning the laptop off before closing it.
Once again, he took off the blanket, moving Chang Min to where he was lying down with his head on the pillow. Ye Xun put the blanket over him when he finished.
Then, he grabbed the laptop, putting it back on the desk. And as Ye Xun was getting ready to leave, Chang Min moved on the bed, sleepily muttering, "Ye Xun, stay."
Ye Xun looked at Chang Min, whose eyes were still closed. He sighed, moving back to the bed as he pulled his shirt off.
Ye Xun joined Chang Min in the bed, getting under the blanket as he wrapped his arms around the man. Chang Min moved closer to the heat, resting his head on Ye Xun's bare chest.
Ye Xun pulled his phone out of his pants pocket, setting up his alarm before putting it on the nightstand. He instantly fell asleep with Chang Min in his arms.
