As Ayden was gazing down at Gabi he took a step towards him, before feeling a heavy hand on his shoulder "Don't.." Nico whispered "What?" Ayden blurted in confusion "Don't go near him if you have a death wish" Nico said with a hard look on his face "What the hell are you talking about?" Ayden shouted annoyed.

"His ability...His ability is deadly don't go near him," Nico shouted back, "You see that he's wearing that special metallic-looking black gloves. The military and government demanded that he should wear them so he doesn't kill students if he gets angry. I'm telling you, don't go near him the ability in his bloodline ability has mutated from flames to something deadlier"

*pfft* Gabi sounded trying to hold back his laughter. Ayden turned around to face him. "HAHAHA" Gabi said failing to hold back his laughter, laughed a menaceful laugher with a creepy distorted smile "Nico, don't talk like that. You're making him think I'm some villain from an anime" he mocked even the two lackeys behind Gabi started laughing. Something clicked in Ayden's head 'Who does this guy think he is?"

Without turning to look at Nico, he asked, "What is his ability?" "Decay, anything he touches from his arm to his hand turns to dust. And if he touches anything with only his fingers where his ability is weakest, it will leave a burn worse than a third-degree burn. Not only that, in speed, I'm sure he is on par with you, not maybe in strength, but his deadly ability and speed makes up for it"

Ayden now understood why Nico sounded like he did. Gabi's ability would be the worst match-up for anyone with a quinx ability, and talking about someone without an ability was even worse.

An Idea soon struck Ayden. If touching is the condition of making something dust, then he can't make things he can't touch, like flames, wind, or smoke that are all gas. And someone can just keep their distance and use fast long-ranged attacks on him. Ayden soon realized that Gabi's Quinx ability wasn't too Overpowered as it sounded.

"Nico, continuously conjure Ice spikes and shoot them at him as fast as you can" Ayden commanded, he knew it had started, the onslaught of bullying and picking on the weak, and because Ayden was level one he was considered weak, the unwritten survival test had started exactly like the rumors he had heard.
