Darkness. complete, utter darkness. Ayden was floating, hovering in a field of reflectionless darkness. There was nothing else, his five senses completely gone—no sound, taste, smell, touch...
It was peaceful at first, but it soon became replaced with excruciating pain. The palm-sized holes in his right shoulder, legs, and knees were replaced with flesh forcefully growing and forming. His bones were cracking from the inside and reforming. His limbs coming off and regenerating back like a lizard. Ayden's teeth were falling out simultaneously and grew stronger and more durable teeth. Black and murky blood was coming from his nose and his eyes rolled back into his head and his mouth foaming.
Ayden tried to scream in his pitiful state and when the gruesome scream came out, it was like the whole endless void was shaking at the sound. His flesh was tearing itself, and he was soon a skinless living creature, almost like a titan. Skin forcefully grew and soon ripped itself off repeatedly.
The process repeated itself several times, every second of time felt like years to Ayden as the pain was unbearable he was wondering why he was still alive soon the darkness was filled with a white blinding light instead of floating in darkness Ayden floated in a white endless void. Under him was a river of blood mixed with impurities that made the blood look black with flash pieces in it, foam, and it mixed teeth in it the sight disgusted Ayden greatly.

Ayden heard in his head, the voice jolted him awake. He looked around in the room to see that no one was there "I overslept, shit," he cursed inwardly. He soon noticed that the palm-sized wounds in his shoulder and legs were gone. His face, hands, uniform, and the bed were covered in blood, sweat, and grime from yesterday.
*Cafeteria meeting, cafeteria meeting, cafeteria meeting*
He looked around to see no one in the bedroom he tried moving around and soon noticed that the holes and damage he had sustained from yesterday was gone. His head felt heavy and his body felt sore, but the pain gradually faded away. Ayden lifted his head from the pillow and rubbed the back of his head. It then hit him he was late. He then slammed the back of his head back into the pillow.
"What was that dream" he muttered, as Ayden said that he heard a voice in his mind
"System Unlocked," a metallic voice said.
"All wounds healed"
"Physical Prowesses Increased because of System"
"Nano Interface Technology Wristband Watch Downloaded To The Databases External Data"
"Information watch accuracy now 100%"
"To use the system, please think of an option you want," the voice said again, "Am I going crazy because why am I hallucinating," Ayden thought silently to himself a little scared by how it might get worse and he might lose his sanity.
"You are not hallucinating, you know?" another voice said in his head, this time a woman's voice instead of a mechanical voice. Soon, a screen menu popped up in front of him, showing four different options.
"I'm already seeing unreal things," he muttered, now rubbing his eyes "I said you are not crazy," the woman's voice said again. Ayden smirked to himself and tried clicking on one tab but nothing happened the menu remained still "See I'm crazy"
"Did you listen to what, the other voice said? Think of clicking on the tab, you idiot. I suggest Skills and Stats," the voice said with a sigh.
Ayden wanted to talk back, but just did what he was told

As he was told, he scrolled down "Skills and Stats" were on the same menu, so he did not need to go back to the start screen.
"It increased your stats as a reward for enduring the painful ghoul transplantation assimilation, it increased all your physical stats by 5. it gave your exp a 10 head start, it also rewarded your stat points and skill points"
