This is a story about Johnny Chapman who was a person who looked at the world differently. In his lifetime his mission was to spread the word of God and plant Apple seeds. He served God’s mission for over 50 years. The story took place in America, when it was scarcely populated. Johnny Chapman’s mission took place mainly in Ohio, Massachusetts.

              Johnny Chapman was born in Massachusetts. Johnny became aware of God’s mission for him for him when he was 18 years old. Johnny brought his idea of travel to his parents, to which they agreed. Johnny had to take Nathaniel (his little brother) with him. Uncle Ben had a farm in Olean which was a good destination, so they set off. One particular time on their journey, Johnny and Nat watched a family crying over an apple orchard. When they reached Olean Johnny decided to work in an apple orchard. At the mill God revealed his plan to Johnny. After that Johnny and Nat set out their journey with bags of apple seeds. On their journey they scattered apple seeds on the ground and handed packets of seeds and favorite scriptures to people passing by. When they reached Ohio Johnny left Nat with Uncle Ben. At that time, many orchards were starting to sprout in Ohio.

              I liked Johnny Chapman because he was a person who shared the Scriptures and enjoyed nature. I would recommend it to anyone because it is a thrilling story and may be encouraging for some people.
