“Ladies and gentlemen, welcome everyone to your new home. These 2 years are going to be tough, and I would like to personally thank each and every one of you that choose to risk your lives for the betterment of society. We work hard to keep the world safe from any dangers. We beat anyone who opposes us, and we keep the streets safe for all civilians. Now we ask you, to lend us your strength together under one banner. The banner of the 4 horses. Each representing the 4 directions, North, South, East and West. Welcome to the military academy.” She ends her speech as the crowd of kids cheer loudly, but Malek face wasn’t one of cheering, it was quite angered. “Well, that was a lie.” He said to himself before looking at everyone cheering, but he noticed someone who wasn’t. A boy with glasses and the same face Malek had.
Quickly the stage was filled with teachers for this year’s class and who stood amongst them was Abdul. “I Margaret will now announce the teachers for this year’s class. Mr. Launders head of the science department.” A chubby balding man with buckteeth and glasses. “Ms. Lavender head of the language department.” A green haired woman around her thirties with thick circle glasses, and a shy demeaner. “Professor Erick Andrews head of the Flow department.” A very tall and slim older man with rectangle glasses and a stern look on his face. “Mr. Armstrong, head of physical training” The tallest of them all, towering at the height of 7’9” and a body that matches a pro wrestler. “And lastly Captain Abdul, homeroom teachers. A round of applause for this year’s teachers.” The arena was filled with claps and cheers for the new teachers. Each having a different reaction. Mr. Armstrong kept his hard body look whispering “This is too soft.” Ms. Lavender fettled with her fingers blushing “O-o-oh my, all for me? Please stop it, this is like a book I read.” The announcer continues “And I am Margaret Scarlet, Principal of this academy. We will now share on screen where you will all be staying at in the dorm rooms.” At the back of the arena, a man opens his mouth, and a beam of light is shot at the white drop wall above the teachers listing the names and room doors. “Now, we will give you the day to get yourselves situated then you will follow your schedule starting tomorrow morning. Thank you, and welcome.”
As everyone started to form groups and head out of the arena Malek notices Principal Margaret look up behind the students. Seated at the very top were a group of guards in black uniforms. It was dark and hard to see who the Lead Officers were guarding but it was more than 1 person. “The head of the noble families look happy about this year’s class.” Margaret says to the teachers. “Haha! They better have brought tougher students this year. The military has gone too soft.” Mr. Armstrong commented. “But their flow is always exceptional, fascinating.” Professor Erick replies. Both stare at each other until they hear a voice from the bottom edge of the stage. Malek walked up with his hands in his pockets. “Yo receding hairline bro.” Malek spoke without any manners in his tone. The entire arena froze and in shock. All the students left in the hall was stunned and the boy with glasses eyes widened. Whispers around the arena and the teachers were also shocked except for one. “What do you want brat?” Abdul stepped forward. “Where the hell is that room, I need another map. And your writing was shit I could barely read it!” Malek responds. The longer the conversation went the more in shock everyone was. A male with the last name of a noble was angered for how ‘disrespectful’ Malek was in his eyes. He began to march over and grabbed onto Malek’s shoulder. A boy with blond hair done in a clean combover with a fade on the sides. His blue eyes glared at Malek. Malek turned around and smiled. “Oh hi finally someone trying to greet me. I am –“Malek was cut off by the angered words that was about to be expressed by the boy. “What are you doing you filthy insolent brat!” Malek’s face slowly turned away from a smile. “I am Brandon Lacrosse! Heir to the Lacrosse family! One of the top 10 families in this world! I will not allow any more arrogance to be shown! Leave at once!” Brandon announces but to his surprised Malek totally ignored him and turned over to Abdul as he waits for the map. Abdul sighed slightly “Sir Brandon, don’t concern yourself with him. We will handle him. Thank you for showing your bravery.” Abdul speaks in a soothing tone that calmed down Brandon. “Very well Captain Abdul. But if he tries something one more time, I will handle it myself. I will now leave you to it.” Brandon says, before giving Malek another glare.
As Brandon began to walk away, Malek stared to burst laughing. “Ahaha! Was that some kind of threat! AHAHA! What a weak-“Suddenly from behind, Margaret hugged Malek and covered his mouth. Whispering into his ear, “Boyo~ I think it is time to close that mouth of yours.” Malek immediately felt a heavy weight on him. Brandon turned around to see the principal holding Malek down and he chuckled. “Serves you right, your parents probably didn’t raise you right. You must be from one of the sectors, watch your back.” Brandon started to laugh and walk back to his group of friends as they all praised his bravery. Malek then looks into the eyes of the principal to see if she would do something about what Brandon had said. Seeing her do nothing, Malek breaks free from the principal’s grip and walks over to Abdul, and he hands Malek the map. Malek then turns around towards the principal and points his index finger at her. “I don’t like you one bit. You don’t deserve my respect. Best of luck to your life and your future.” Malek says not as a threat but a statement of disappointment and makes his way over to his room.
“Ouch, I thought boys his age would fall head over heels for a beauty like me.” Margaret says a little shocked. “What a wild boy…” Professor Erick comments putting his hand on his chin. “Whatever, he is going to live a miserable life here anyways. Since the only reason why Sector students are allowed to enter is because it gives a chance to the noble families to show off in front of their parents.” Mr. Armstrong says but in no means of disrespect. “What sector did that kid come from anyways?” Ms. Lavender asks. “Sector 7.” Abdul replies. “Sector 7?! The most dangerous area, where there is consistent gang wars in?!” Ms. Lavender expresses in deep concern. “Wait, isn’t there another student from the sectors?” Mr. Launders replies with another question. “Yes, Diric Dragonik. The boy with the glasses, from Sector 3.” Abdul answers. “Mr. Armstrong you claimed that this year will be the same as the other years. But… “Abdul pauses and lets out a genuine smile. “This year the nobles will face the realist of real beasts. And…” a deafening statement he says that left the entire staff on stage was left stunned by the words of Abdul as he walked away with a large smile on his face.
