Callum was slammed on the rough pavement. The harsh fall has caused his left wing to get sprained, with several bruises and scrapes, gunshot wound bleeding profusely.


Ughh!!” Whimpering by the excruciating pain he felt by the shot and his broken wing.


"The heck are you people's problem?" Callum said in a pain-laced voice. Trying to get off the ground. Hand on his bleeding shoulder. 


Saru hoisted Callum up before shoving him back to the ground. "You better shut your mouth, kiddo." 


Tears gather around Callum's eyes. 
He was just any other person going home from work. How did he end up being with these people? Callum thought. Cursing his penchant for landing right in the eye of danger.

"Congratulations, Mr. Campbell your nature shots are always mesmerizing. Here's your new assignment " Mr. Scott said. 


"Thank you, Mr. Scott. I'll be sure to send the photos next month." Callum said. Leaving his editor's office. 


It has been a long day for Callum. Interacting with so many people. Sighing, Callum put his camera inside his bag. 


"Ouch! My poor poor back. I'll be sure to take a week off after this assignment." Callum bemoans. Rubbing his aching back all the while to the bus station. His job was fun to do, Yes. But also very taxing. 

Callum getting off the bus was walking home when he stumbles upon a throng of running people. 
Not wanting to get involved. He tried to get away by flying disregarding the discomfort coming from his wings. 

He was already several feet above the ground when he had been shot on his right shoulder, right foot wrapped by a whip, and was pulled down. Hitting the ground painfully. 

Fear consuming him, he started struggling with the man holding him. 

“ What the fuck is wrong with you! RELEASE ME, I DO NOT EVEN KNOW YOU PEOPLE, YOU GOT THE WRONG GUY!!” He shouted and keeps on struggling.

“ You better behave kid. That's what they always say whenever they are caught. Think of something original kiddo.” The gorilla said as he punched Callum's stomach.

Curling to himself, clutching his aching stomach tightly.

“ You people are no ordinary humans,” He said to the blond while glaring fiercely.


Smirking. "Don't worry boy. If what you said is true. Then we might just let you leave as if nothing happened."

Callum couldn't do anything about his situation, settles with looking at the man coming their way.

Saru just laughs at the boy, patting Callum's cheeks. The boy is a beauty, has very stunning eyes. It was so captivating. Every passing emotion is reflected by it. He felt like drowning in the depth of those blue eyes. He was so engrossed, he barely notices when his boss walks in.

Alec walks intimidatingly. He towers over the scared winged boy kneeling on the ground like a god. 

“Well, What do we have here?” He said as he bent down and cupped the angel's face and was stunned for a second.

He roams his eyes over the kid's beautiful features. He admits to himself that he never, as in never saw such beauty, or so he thought. As a nagging feeling stirs deep inside him. 

The boy's beauty is truly unparalleled. From the messy soft blond hair that cupped the heart-shaped face, clear blue eyes that are currently expressing his fear for the world to see but still have their fire in them. The determination that he can still be able to escape his current situation despite the big hurdles blocking his way is reflected by those blazing blue hues. Pointed nose adds haughtiness to the already perfect countenance of the boy.

Looking at the boy's rosy lips. 

Feeling a sudden dryness building up his throat. The urge to sink his teeth on the soft milky neck. To ravish the boy right there and then.

Alec touches Callum's cheek, caressing it gently, seeing the flash of uncertainty in the boy's countenance. He asks.

"Are you scared, little bird?"

Callum flinched when the man with the most captivating golden eyes and presumed, as the gorilla's boss caressed his cheek. Despite his nervousness, he feels irritation rising within him.

Damn the consequences but he's mad! He's tired, hungry, and in pain, he has the right to bitch about it.

Laughter erupted in that narrow alley.

Alec laughs so hard.
This is the first time Alec met someone that did not cower before him. It's refreshing.

"You're so amusing little bird. But for now, we should leave this place. We'll talk again when you wake up.." Alec said closing the gap between him and the boy before he whispers.

“Sleep.”

Distracted by the man's laughter. Like in a trance, Callum barely notices when the man whispers in his left ear.
Body relaxing on its own, eyes closing slowly he then falls into a deep sleep.

Saru watches his boss pick up the boy gently, going straight to his car. At that moment he knows instantly, his boss likes the boy. He will not dare to be in the way of his boss's growing fascination towards the boy by trying to pursue the most beautiful creature they had ever seen.
