So, Hello and welcome to My Omegaverse! In this world I created, it's mostly modern times, things are peaceful between what we refer to as races, instead there is only some fighting between clans but things are relatively peaceful. The world at some point over two thousand years ago suddenly changed. No one is sure what happened but humans started to die off until a miracle happened and people seemed to have merged with animals. Children were born with animal ears and tails, they also happened to pick up the unusual traits of the animals they appeared to be. That wasn’t the only thing that occurred, the manifestation of a second gender also occurred, this was only strongly noticed in a few but then it was found in all. All genders male or female, could now reproduce. Like in most Omegavers’ there are 3 secondary genders, the Alpha’s, the Beta’s and The Omega’s. Like most Omegavers’ Alpha’s and Omega’s have natural pheromones that are meant to attract their mate and Omega’s go into heat and Alpha’s go into rut. Beta’s also experience heats and ruts but they aren’t as strong as Alpha’s and Omega’s. Because of this there are more effective medications for both. There are also dominant and submissive members of each gender, most Alpha’s tend to be the Dominate where Most Omega’s are submissive. 

There are 12 clans of animals and are as follows: Aquatic, Avians, Bears, Deer, Feline, Fenic, Horses, K9’s, Marsupials, Monkies, Rabbits, and Reptiles. They are broken into three stances, Neutral (Aquatic, Avian, Bear & Monkeys), Predator (Feline, Fenic, K9’s & Reptile), and Herbivore (Deer, Horses, Marsupials & Rabbits).  Each Clan has it’s unique traits and markings. While all races can interbreed most prefer to stay within their respective clans or at least their stance but sometimes fate or the writer here just enjoys the idea of mixing it up. ( :-D it’s my world damn it! I do what I want? Err what my characters want really I’m just a slave here)

Some things to be aware of: Markings are distinct for every clan, markings appear on potential mates after they are bitten and they always appear above the tailbone. Markings only appear when two people are highly compatible the longer it stays the more compatible the two are. These marks can become perminate once they are bonded through marriage or through the bonding process where during sex the Dominate bite’s the Submissive on the back of the neck and knots or just climax’s inside. For Alpha’s and Omega’s the bond makes it so their rut/ heat will no longer affect anyone but that person. Bonds can be broken via death or medications if need be. Most of the time the child of a mixed clan family will be the same clan as the ‘father’ but sometimes they can be the same as the ‘mother’. Example: Josh a Male Elk Bites Carrie a female horse, Carrie finds an imprint of an Elk horn above her tail and it lasts for a month, the two marry a year later and she gives birth to a healthy baby elk, four years later she gives birth to a baby horse who looks like Josh.
