Some info about some of the ET's.. more ET's will be revealed on chapter 4!

Episode 3

The students all regrouped with the class at the end of the exercise. sir vey stands in front of the class and begins to review the good and bad events of the match. from behind him a portal opens up and out steps zero and 3 criminals from their gang. zero takes a few steps forward, "so this is the etfa..." sir vey turned to face them, "don't come any closer. who are you? and what do you-". zero mocks him, "who are you? what do you want?" another portal opens behind sir vey's back. "why do people always ask frivolous questions in the face of death?" out from the portal another criminal stepped through and a huge sharp bone grew out of his hand. he plunged into sir vey's back and it exited through his lower chest. he fell to his knees. zero walks towards and addresses the class, "sorry about your teacher, i'm sure they'll give you another one" the gang laughs. "i'm looking for danny combs. i know you're in this class so don't try to hide. just come with us and none of your friends will get hurt!". all the classmates start to look around. skylar steps up, "i don' t care who you're looking for, imma kill all you bastards for what you did to my teacher!!" skylar charges at zero, "ha! bring it on foolish girl!" he yells as he takes a step forward. before skylar could reach zero the criminal with the bone et jumps in front of her path and slashes at her with his bone blade. she uses her wind et to spin and dodge the slash without slowing down, grabs the criminals arm and slams him to the ground. she then stomps on his arm and breaks it. she looks back and zero and gets ready to charge again. "this is actually another power worth taking. i guess ill be bringing you along as well". "you're not brining along shit!" skylar charged in at zero. he took a step back and the other 3 criminals charged forward at skylar. danny anticipated the ambush and was already sprinting towards them to help. the criminal in front danny recognized as claws (he is a newer criminal known for robbing banks and under ground fighting. just in the last 3 years he is suspected of almost a dozen murders and armed robberies). just before him and skylar met he extended his claws and lunged forward with a strike. skylar jumped and flipped forward to evade the attack and stepped on his head. she pushed off from his head and flew in the air pushing herself forward with her et. as she passed over the group of 3 one of the criminals stopped and launched a steel rope at her. just before it reached skylar's leg, split second appeared in the path and the rope wrapped around his arm, he then teleported behind the criminal and put her in a headlock and took her to the ground. at that same time ice e had already frozen the 3rd criminal solid. claw retracted his claws and reached behind his back. "you think i'd let you reach the boss!?" he pulled out a gun and aimed it at skylar. flashbacks from the robbery ran through dannys mind. the image of brock sprinting across the street and punching the robber played vividly in his head. before he realized it he was already leaning into a punch right in claws ribs, he dropped the gun and stumbled back. "stupid kid, do you all have a death wish!?" at that moment he noticed danny's neck had 7 circles on it. "so you're the unlucky little shit! boss i found him!”. “good bring him to me,” zero said as he smiled. skylar was high in the air looking down on zero as they met eyes she yelled, “takr this!!!”. “the only think i’m taking is your et stupid girl!” zero yelled as he reached out towards skylar who was flying down at blinding speed with a kick. just before they met there was a huge crack, dust and rock flew everywhere as a shockwave blew everybody in the area back off their feet. as the dust settled zero was standing up blocking a punch from eta's greatest protector lady gaia. "holy shit its lady gaia!!" the bone et criminal yelled as they all regrouped behind their leader. "sorry for the rough entrance class, please stay back. i will handle it from here." danny couldn't believe his eyes, "this guy really blocked a full on punch from lady gaia like it was nothing!" he thought to himself. "so you've come alone lady gaia? maybe i should take this chance to kill you now!" at that moment the heroes max flare and tim-po landed on the field behind lady gaia. "or maybe we should take this chance to kick your ass again zero!". "3 of the eta's greatest protectors!? i hate mondays... i'll be back for you danny combs!! let's get out of here" zero called out. and instantly a portal opened under his feet and behind the criminals, they all went into the portals and left.

lady gaia turned to the class. "is everyone okay? you guys fought so bravely, i can't believe you all are first years! some of the school staff is already on the way, please stay together while we take care of your teacher." she then joined max flare and tim-po taking care of sir vey till medics arrived on scene. danny could already see that sir vey was unresponsive and expected the worst. he broke down crying. "i still can't save anybody!!" danny cried out. "i just make everything worse! now people are dead because of me!" skylar walked up behind danny and placed her hand on his shoulder, "if not for you, i'd be full of bullets right now... just be glad help came when it had. now we can live another day to train and get stronger so that next time we can kill that son of a bitch!" danny looked up eyes wide, "skylar.." he mumbled softly. out of the sky vice principal hermes flew down and gathered the class. a few other teachers were dropped off in a van. "hello class, please if you have any injuries please head with professor light to the van. everyone else please head back to the main campus with professor sky." after addressing the class the vp turned to danny. "danny, please meet me in my office after professor sky dismisses you."

about 30 minutes later, danny walks into the vp's office. "i'm glad you're here danny please have a seat. i'm sure you are wondering why that man was after you specifically. his name is zero 5 years ago, he attacked lady gaia and almost stole her et.". danny couldn't believe what he was hearing, "stole her et? is that even possible!?". "yes, as you may know there are 97 known ets. but in reality there are actually 100. very few people know about the remaining 3 et's because there has only been 1 known user of each and they all died during the bloody rebirth (the bloody rebirth was the first 10 years after the meteor shower that sparked the growth of the et fruit plants). 5 years ago zero was the first to appear with one of the fabled 3 ets. that et has the power to steal an individuals et and absorb its energy as power strengthening the user. after failing to steal lady gaia's et he went into hiding. but there have been 100's of cases of stolen et's since then. the 2nd of the 3 fabled ets to reemerge was through you danny." danny's eyes widen. "you're et allows you obtain 7 different abilities, by copying another's et signature. I've been watching you for a short while Danny, I remember the day you dropped off your application to the etfa, it was then I noticed the seven marks on your neck. you were with your late friend brock, who passed away in that unfortunate robbery incident. if you had any doubt you indeed obtained his et that night and can obtain 6 more.'' Danny shakes his head. "this doesn't make any sense, how can people not know about this? I haven't heard of people losing their et's. shouldn't people know about this?" vp hermes leaned forward. "These crimes have been kept under wraps for good reason. If the public knew about this man they would expect that we would handle him immediately. but the problem is we have been chasing him for 5 years with no leads, not only that but he has already beat lady gaia in battle once and only gets stronger with every et he consumes, if the public was aware of this panic would spread and distrust would grow about the eta within the communities. and we must also keep your ability a secret danny, for your safety.'' Danny leaned back in his chair, "this is so much to take in... I understand the situation but that doesn't make it any less shocking." "there's one more thing danny... I want you to copy my ET as well.". Danny stood up from his chair, "Wait, are you serious!? how do i even do that?". "from the information i've gathered all you need to do is place your hand over my et mark., and the rest should take care of itself". "i can't believe this, i'm going to be able to fly!?'' Danny reached out to the VP's neck and placed his hand on his et mark. the vp's mark began to glow. Danny pulled his arm back, "did I do it!?". the vp took a step back, "i'm not sure... let's try it out.'' Danny and the VP went outside and Danny got ready to try out his new set. He bent his knees "here I go!!!" he jumped up as high as he could..... then face planted into the ground. The vp then burst out laughing, "i thought something was odd when you didn't gain a second circle... ahh i needed that laugh". Danny jumped up "hey you knew that would happen!!" they went back into the vp's office and danny successfully copied his et. "To keep things under wraps, I have already arranged for the class to be informed that you were targeted because you have 2 et's. you're new goal will be to master these two abilities as soon as possible. Once you do that as well as develop your own fighting style, we can look for other et's for you to add to your arsenal that compliment that. from this day forward you will be my apprentice, the day will come when you must face zero yourself, and i will prepare you for that.'' Danny started to smile, "wow the great Hermes is my mentor!? the same hermes that has been the backbone of the eta for decades!? i can't believe this!!'' Danny thought to himself.... "Wait, I'm going to have to fight zero!?? the dude just blocked a full on punch from lady gaia like it was nothing, what am i supposed to do about that!?" the vp smirked, "you have a similar et to lady gaia thanks to your friend brock, and now you also have my et, and with the right training you will be stronger than all of us. Now that zero has made his intentions clear he will not attack any time soon. He doesn't have enough power on his side to fight multiple top protectors at the same time, and he knows security will only be tighter at this facility now so he will need to take time to strengthen his group. as your mentor my assignment for you this semester is to learn to use your super strength and flying et subconsciously by winter break!'' Danny couldn't hold it in "What!? That's in just 4 months!!..... I mean yes sir..". "that's more like Danny boy!! Now go back to your dorm and get some rest. After class tomorrow, come to my office for some flight training". Danny started to walk towards the door, "oh, also drop the danny, from now on introduce yourself as seven." Danny smiled and nodded, then headed back to his room slightly scared but mostly excited, "i can't believe i can fly, i'm like superman now!!" *danny day dreams about saving the day in a superman suit on his way to his dorm for the night*

skip to zero's hideout

"we almost had him, he was right there!! ugh!!" zero walked over to his chair and sat down, "all is fine eris, we will get him soon enough". "yeah, i need to get him back for that punch!" claws added. "For now that little shit has too much firepower around him, we need to take our time and build a team that can hold their own against multiple protectors if it comes to that again. claws, imma leave the recruiting to you. build yourself a strong attack unit of at least 30 men. eris, you come with me, there's a few favors i need to call in, we're going out of town for a few weeks, (zero looks at claws) i need you to be acting leader for now, i'm counting on you". "When you come back the eradication army will have the strongest men in the country at your command!" Zero and Eris turned to exit the building, "oh, and one last thing, our new and final name will be the nephilim!" Then they exited the building.
