If the director hadn't appeared at that moment, perhaps Cassiand would ended me. While the director and him were talking I was trying to understand what in the world he did to me, he didn't just leaked his magic as I did before, he did something else, something more complicated that just let the magic leak from him, but also more dangerous, it was like being in the void.

"Why didn't you saved him just like you saved Vanessa right now?" Cassian was concerned about the situation, even myself was because the director didn't tell nothing nor to my parent or me. She was a living tombstone when explaining the things come to her. But she seemed to have some kind of special like for Cassina, was it because of his power? Or something else was the background for it?

"You keep asking why, but let me answer you with another question, why would I?" I'd never expected to see that side of the director again. Before the classes started she was in a meeting with my father, and both of them spoke of the school like if neither of both cared about it, I was eavesdropping because I heared my name, the were talking about the comittee and what was it's purpose, but I never expected to see the two people I admired the most to act like that. And there was she, speaking so indifferent again, it was scary. 

"Is not your duty to care about the students and work for their sake?" Principal Keller looked at Cassian as if a child was the one standing in front of him, a child who doesn't understand the problems of an adult. "Is it my duty Cassian? And what about you, is your duty as member of the comittee to look up for the students, and you are the one who beat him almost killing him with a kick, isn't it like the things are?" 

So she was seeing everything for the beginning, "even if the things are like that, why did you let the things ended up with almost a dead student today? If the comittee is there to control the students, if is not you who is the one that controls the comittee?" The director smiled, she had Cassian where she wanted from the beginning. "I created the comittee to protect the well being of the students, if you want to know who is above you, you will know. But that's something you are not ready for, at this moments there are just two people that know your magic, one has experienced it from first hand," she said looking at me. "So now you have no option to trust me, and trust Vanessa, because we are the only ones that can help you, and I'm the only one in the position to protect you, so don't come at me with that hypocrit words saying that I should take care of you. I expect more from you than just that baby cries Cassian."

Cassian seemed not bothered by her words, he's face remained neutral, as if nothing had happened, but the atmosphere had changed, both of them was letting the mana spill out from their bodies, but even if both of them were doing it, it was nothing like the thing Cassian did to me before. The director grinned at him while Cassian just stared at her, I couldn't read his expresion but I could know it was anger the feeling that was going through his veins. 

The director placed a hand in his shoulder and spoke again. "Cassian, I hope you fulfill your duties as vicepresident, and as for you, Vanessa, I never expected you could be taken down with that easy, I can tell I'm very disapointed, but I know you can do more, I put you in that position because I know you can control Cassian. Please, try harder for the next time." 

I didn't said anything or moved, she was right, I understimated that guy, I couldn't guess he was that strong, even after seeing what happened with Johan I expected him to be at least tired, but he was not only not tired, but his power was more powerful that I could ever imagined.

The director disappeared and let the both of us in the middle of anywhere, Cassian remained silent and I did the same while walking back to the bedrooms, I walked far from him, on his back, I'd never thought that someone that wasn't from a noble family could be that powerful. He was in a different level from the normal magicians I had known until now, but I couldn't let myself be behind him, I needed to improve to at least have an oportunity, because if something was sure, he didn't used his full power to make me kneel, that was a sensation I'd hope never feel agian.

"Is enough," he stopped and faced me, "I can walk to my bedroom by myself." I wanted to agree, but it was not like I could just let him go, I needed to talk with him. "But..." He didn't waited for me to end my sentence befor talking. "Mind you own business." The look in his face was empty, there was no emotion in his eyes nor his words, he was ready to fight if it was necessary, but I wasn't, so I nodded and leave.

He did as he said and went to the bedrooms, but for me, I went to the principal office, I knocked the door. "Come in," said principal Keller's voice. "It took you more than I expected, did something happened between you an Cassian while coming back?" I swallowed saliva, I was worried about her decisions, I'd never complained about her orders, but this was different. "Who is him? And why is he so powerful if he is just a black sheep?" The director laughed lightly, she was again acting as a normal director in a school. Not like the indifferent person she was while talking with Cassian. "As I said to Cassian before when he asked about "those" you are not ready to know who is him. But what I can tell to you is that if you want to succeed here in the school you should try to befriend him, or at least to control him." 

"You said you put me in this position because you think I can control him, is that the only reason why I was chosen?" She put a hand in her head and closed her eyes before answering. "You were chosen because your abilities, and your comander skills too. But yes, that was one of the reasons you are the president of the comittee." Even in that was true, there was something more I wante to ask. "And how can I control him?" She grinned at me, the same smile that she showed before was in front of me now, it was scary, but I didn't let my fear leave my mind and appear in front of her. "You are missunderstanding something, you can not control him, you are the only one that I thin can keep that monster to line, but nobody can control him. And if now you want to know how, that's something you need to find by yourself. Is something more that you would like to know?" 

"No, thank you for your time." And as I said that, I leave the office.
