The next day Ethan got to laze around with Leon, they only left to pick up his new glasses. The first thing he looked at with his new glasses on was Leon and the first thought that came to mind was that he was devastatingly handsome and wondered how he had been so lucky to end up with such an Alpha. They had a doctor's appointment to check on the baby, Ethan was finally going to be able to see them, he had only heard their heartbeat but had never actually gotten to see what their kitten looked like. Sure it wasn’t much but it was still the little life that he’d protected, his little miracle. Leon had come clean and admitted it was his fault, he had given him mints instead of his medication. It didn’t matter to him in the end he was happy it happened, he was honestly most happy that he was wanted.

Leon ignored his family for the first week, they had wanted to do a birthday celebration but upon hearing they found Ethan he declined and lied saying he wasn’t feeling well. He was going to have to tell them soon, he couldn’t hide Ethan from them for long, the one he mostly worried about was his younger brother and his grandfather. 

“What’s the matter Leon?” Ethan asked from his lap in the tub where they were relaxing.

“I’m thinking of how I’m going to introduce you to my family, my sister Felicia and my Mother Lorain will adore you, My mother Naomi will be disappointed that you don’t have boobs.” He admitted. Ethan looked down at his flat chest.

“I mean, I don’t now but, I will have something in a few months, nothing big but they won’t be permanent… I think.” 

Leon chuckled. “I prefer you this way, it means she wont get handsy with you. I might but that’s because you belong to me.” He told him wrapping his arms around Ethan’s chest and holding him close. 

Ethan fluffed his ear feather’s in contentment, he loved it when Leon reaffirmed that he wanted him, that he was loved. “Only you can.” He confirmed. Leon playfully nipped his shoulder in a playful manner. 

“I love you.” Leon told him.

“I love you too, but you are going to have to tell them. Especially since we’re expecting. I admit I’m not the best choice for a mate… I ’m actually the worst choice…” He said thinking about it.

“You couldn’t help it Ethan, so don’t beat yourself up about it, you can do whatever you want now.” He told him.

“I want to get my High School diploma, I figure I can work on that while I am at home.” He admitted. “I kinda liked school but I don’t know what I’d want to do, I want to be helpful. I don’t want to be one of those stay at home moms but I know raising kids is a full time job too, but would you want more?” he asked.

“We can afford to have more kids, I wouldn’t mind more, we’d have to look for a bigger place if we did, while this place is nice, it would be nice to have a place for them to run around.” Leon told him. 

“Mmmmn but first I need to meet your family.” Ethan reminded him. The thought of trying to explain his situation worried him, he really was the worst choice but he loved Leon and he had to take steps to feel worthy of him, he didn’t want to take advantage of him. He also knew that Leon was spoiling him, especially with clothes right now, but those were things he needed to have. “Why don’t we just tear off the bandaid and go see at least your mother’s Friday? It’s after our appointment and we can have the sonogram pictures printed out for them. Might distract them…” He said fidgeting with Leon’s hand.

“If you want to then I’ll call them. Just remember I am here for you Ethan, you are my mate I am responsible for all of this as well.” He said, kissing his neck. “You are not alone.” He told him. “Let’s get out, the water is getting cool and I don’t want you getting sick.” he said standing up with him. 

Ethan let him, it was nice to have someone fuss over him in a non sexual way, at the same time he was starting to look forward to his alone time without Leon, some days he was barely even able to pee without him next to him or at the door waiting for him. He understood that his Alpha was doing his best to re-enforce their bond and as nice as it was it was just a tiny bit over the top. 

Leon dried Ethan off gently and heard the house bell suddenly start ringing as if someone was angrily pressing on it. Ethan tilted his head hearing it and looked to Leon. “Why don’t you get dressed and wait up here while I go see what that is about.” He said, kissing his forehead. 

Ethan nodded and finished drying off as he watched Leon walk out of the bathroom, he smiled dopely watching his fine ass and muscular shoulders as he did. The consistent ringing was the only thing that broke his train of thought. Mark must have been busy cooking breakfast to not be able to answer it quickly. Curiosity got him as he walked out of the bathroom and into their room, his clothes were already laid out on the bed for him, his glasses neatly on top. He quickly got dressed and went to sit on the bed when he heard shouting.
