It’s the next day and during their lunch, Wright and the other two had already settled down on the rooftop with Campbell grandiose lunchbox, and of course the round daemon, Tados, was there.

                “I didn’t know a daemon can eat.”

The round daemon grabs another mouth full from the lunchbox.

                “You’re eating too much, Tados!”

                “How can I not! These are too delicious for me not to.” As he tosses another piece into his mouth.

Campbell smiled at the round daemon.

                “Thank you and it’s alright, since there’s plenty more.”

                “See! She doesn’t mind.”

While the two bickered away, Clair and Campbell enjoyed their time together, and before they knew it, they had already gone through Campbell’s lunchbox since most of it was chowed down by the round daemon.

With still time to spare, the three learn more about each other and their maiden gifts. Clair’s gift is the ability to apport herself and Wright has the gift to move inanimate object while Campbell holds the gift of golden flames.

Wright also learns why Campbell disappeared during their lunch on that day, and that she was in a domain and was barely able to get out. Another maiden seems to be targeting her and Wright has an inkling to who it might be but decides to withhold it for now, not wanting to scare the two.

And with the school trip fast approaching, they decide to stick together from now and even more so during the school trip to avoid being sent alone to a domain.

                “Alright everyone, make sure you come back on time and don’t cause trouble to those around. Okay then, see you all at 3 o'clock.” Mrs Wallace wave them good bye and retreated to the hotel while the classes dispersed.

They already had a lecture in an auditorium nearby and now was some free time for everyone, the three of them headed off to places they had planned to visit. The closest place was the Youth Gallery that Clair wanted to visit and after that was a book store Campbell was interested in. She had picked several and had more placed in reserve, and plans to revisit to claim them.

Wright was next but they were running out of time because Campbell spent too much time in the bookstore, and so they decided to have lunch instead.

                “Sorry… There were so many books… I forgot. Sorry.”

                “It’s fine, since everyone is having fun but where do we go now…”

                “I know, my mother told me there was a café around here. But what was it called…?” Clair stopped and tries to recall, then, “Vanilla Treats, if I remember correctly.”

While Wright turn to her with her eyes slightly widen, “Huh!?”

                “It’s something the matter?” Campbell went over to her.

                “No, it’s nothing…. How about we head back to our hotel. I heard the lunch they serve is quite appealing.”

And after some persuasions, they made their way back and had lunch at the hotel instead.

Then came another long lecture to close the day and dinner was right after, then they return back to their rooms afterwards. Clair and the other two were sharing a room, and Campbell was engrossed in reading the books she just bought.

                “You really do love reading don’t you?”

Wright went over to her and so did Clair, they all sat on one bed and began chatting away. Forgetting about all that had happened and enjoying their time together but then the lights went out, all three arrived in a domain in their maiden dress.

They were in the middle of their school’s gymnasium, and on the stage was the same grotesque red crystal heart beating away in the centre of it all.

Campbell face was going pale, then Clair came and held her hands.

                “Ellie and I, are here with you. And you have Strobial. So, it’s okay.”

She lifts her had head up and looked at Clair, “I’m sorry, you’re right.” Nodding her head.

                “That’s right, let’s go find a way out of here.”

But as they took another look around, they found no sign of gate anywhere. They stay together and proceeded to gymnasium doors but they wouldn’t budge. Then out of a sudden, a large red beat and red hand began stretching out of the red heart and reach for Campbell.

Clair and Wright step forward, and began slicing off the red hand that came while Campbell fired off her golden knives.

                “Strobial!”

The white cloak makes an appearance and as it was gathering golden flames, red hands burst out from below and along with them was dozens of childlike monsters. The red hand grabbed onto the cloak while the childlike monsters held them in placed.

Then from the red heart, stretch out another set of red hands. Grabbing both Campbell and her daemon, they were both dragged back into the red heart in an instant.
