Clair reaches her hand out and disappears but as she reappears, a wall of purple ice rose from below.

            “Gabriela…!”

Campbell was pulled into the red crystal heart beyond this ice wall while Clair gave it a few slashes.

            “What is this…? A maiden’s doing?”

Stopping and placing her hand over the ice wall, then from behind her. Wright has freed herself with a swipe of her spear, the childlike monster started to gather in between the two and began to consume one another’s red orb that was residing in their skull.

Clair and Wright quickly made their way to the mass of monster that was pilling up, they swung their blades across but each were countered by a bladed arm that was barely formed. Only its blades were formed properly, it was solid enough to take the brute force of their attacks.

Then finally as the two stepped back from the gathering red aura, the gathered mass of monsters rapidly reforms themselves into a single mass and from it shot out four bladed limps that settled on a humanoid body.

All four limps stretched out and the red aura that covered this side of the gymnasium, gather around the humanoid monster. It stumbled for a moment then abruptly turns its head to Clair, a twisted mouth forms on its faceless head and smile widely at her.

In an instant, it darted forward towards Clair, with all four of its blades swung.

            “Huh!?” She raised her sword and tries to block the sudden strike.

Thud!

            “Lydia…!”

Dragging her spear as far back as she could, “How dare you!” launching it out with tremendous force, it flew straight for the monster but it dodged at the last second and was already upon her.

Two of its blades were swung at her, just as a thick bittersweet ice block appeared in its way. Like a rock candy, it shatters the moment the blades reached it.  The two blades just sweep pass her, the monster stepped forward with its twisted smile and its other two blades being swung while Wright was bringing her spear back to her.

With her gift to move inanimate objects, the spear came flying to her. Twirling it once, she held the spear with both of her hands and as the ground below her feet began to turn to candy. The two blades came crashing on the spear.

Thud!

The candy below her was cracking and Wright leapt back before the blades came crevicing the ground. She turns to Clair, who was getting herself back up.

            “Lydia, are you okay!?”

Clair nodded while the monster darted forward to Wright, “Ellie!” Clair turns to her and was about to join.

            “I’m fine, Lydia.” As the monster swung its bladed arms to the floating candy block.

            “But–”

The candy block breaks into pieces while Wright strike her spear across the next set of coming blades.

            “Its fine, go save Gabriela.”

Clair nodded once more and reach out her hand. She vanished for moment and reappeared on the side of the ice wall.

While both, the monster and Wright were push back, the bladed monster curl its leg for a brief moment. Then it leaped with all four of its bladed hands raised as far as it could.

Wright quickly swept her spear across, candying the ground around her.

Thud!

The blades came crashing onto her spear as the two red aura collide and filled the space around. One grotesque and the other bittersweet.

Wright candied her hands along with her spear, sweeping at the monster’s blades. Clashing once again and as the candied ground began to crack, the two had knocked each other back.

She was push to the back with her feet still touching the ground, leaving a trail of candy. While the monster was flung back and as it lands, it turns its twisted smiling face to Wright and began to eerily laugh out loud with a face of pure bliss.

            “What the hell is it doing…?” taking several steps back while a round daemon enters.

            “Don’t candy yourself too much since you won’t be able to return if you turn to one.”

            “Tados! If you’re not going to help, go away.”

Returning back to wherever it came from, the round daemon vanishes.

The monster abruptly stops its eerie laughter and turns to her, and in an instant, it was upon her with all four of its blades folded in.

Sweeping them out in the next instant, Wright was barely able to form candy blocks around her but even that wasn’t enough as it shatters immediately and sends her flying through the ice wall behind her.

            “Nyxi!”

Clair, who was already at the red crystal where Gabriela was taken into.

            “Let me help you.” Appearing by her, the white dragon passes its white aura to her.

            “Gabriela, I’ll get you out of there.”

As she was about to strike the beating red heart but before she could, golden flames poured out and soon turned red.
