Family was having dinner together and Dawn tried her best not to make things even weirder.

"Any luck with getting your powers?"  Daviat asked before taking a sip of red wine.

"I'm not even sure i have them" she answered honesthly

"My most trusted man found you dear, you ARE the chosen one" 

"Let's not bring this topic at the table" Irene answered coldly

"Why not? I'm interested in this"

"I'm sure you are, but in case you forgot we haven't seen our children for months, the least you can do is talk to them" 

"I did talk to all of my children yesterday, or were you to busy to notice?" Daviat smirked

Dawn glanced at Irene and noticed she was pissed, she then glanced at Adrian and couldn't decifer what feelings were plastered on his face, was it sadness? Or anger? Maybe both?

She tried to remember last night, and finaly realised why Irene was mad.

"Well, dinner is ruined now" Cal said as he got up , knocking his chair down.

"Sit your ass down right now" their father shouted at Cal

"What are you going to do if i don't?"

Cal glanced at Irene who only noded her head, and with that Cal left.

It was  like domino effect. Dawn watched as the rest of brothers got up and left who knows where.

Last one to get up was Adrian and Dawn immediately followed him.

"Are you happy now?"

"Is it my flaut you made a big fuss?"

"I made a big fuss? Did you see Adrian's face?"

"How is it my concern Irene? Did you forget what i told you when you brought him here?"

"Talk to me when you stop behaving like a child" Irene glared at her husband and went to her room.

"Are you okay?"

Dawn asked redhead as she played with his hair.

"This is nothing new for him" 

"That doesn't mean you can't be upset"

'Does he even know he isn't his biological kid?' she thought to herself.

But she knew she couldn't just ask him that.

"Do you want to go somewhere?"

"No"

"Okay"

"I can't go far from house"

"Now that's just pushing it!"

"What do you mean?" Adrian turned so he is now facing Dawn, earlier she was sitting behind him on his bed, her back pressed aganist his pillows.

"He isn't allowing you to leave?"

"It's not that...."

"Then what is it?"

"I'd rather not talk about that, Dawn" he answered and turned around once again
