She rushed to her room. She took all the money she had and headed to the orphanage.

As soon as she arrived, she heard Dellabella spoke, "You hope she will come. She is a Princess, why would you think she will care about bastards like you." Dellabella was ready to hit Eli, but instead of Eli, she hit Iris's arm.

"I am a Princess and a Princess will protect what she loves." She tossed the coins right at her face, "Take that and go away."

"Go away? I was appointed by the Duke. You are the one who will go away, Princess. I take these golds as weekly payment though. Oops, you will be here for only 2 weeks top. I will assure I won't touch these bastards until the next seventh day. Now go!"

"Who said she can go? Only me who can." The Duke stood in front of the orphanage door.

Dellabella kneeled in fear. "Yo... Your Highness..."

The knights dragged Dellabella.

"Ar... Are you okay?" Iowyrthe asked.

"Eliiiiii..." She screamed in horror ignoring the Duke's question. She caught him, seeing him cover in wound, she hugged him.

"I will bring medicine, Your Highness."

Not long from that Rosetta then bring medicine for the wounded child and said, "Agnes and I, will tend him. Lady Leia and Selma will prepare you for the mandatory lunch, Princess."

"No need. I will tend him myself. I don't feel like having lunch."

"B... But..."

"Haa... I will report this to Jude." The Duke said, while Iris fully ignored him. He walked out.

"I will ask Grizsha to prepare your lunch here. You need to eat."

"Take that bag of gold. Give him one, I want the children to have the same menu as me. If it's not enough, tell me." Rosetta went out. She saw The Duke stood up annoyed and restless.

"Wha... What she said?"

"The Princess told me to have the kids her menu as well."

"How dare she spend the resource."

Rosetta sighed, "Here one gold coin, Duke Lleuelyn. She paid already." Rosetta gave him the coin and walked by.

Agnes help her to calm down the children. Together, they made the study table into a dining table for the lunch. Selma, Grizsha, and Lady Leia come to help prepare. While the Princess was up in the room alone with Eli. She used her power to heal Eli's wound, not completely though. She was afraid that any one will notice how quick the wound healed, but it is enough to ease his pain and stop the bleeding. Eli then woke up.

"Princess, how was your hands? I am sorry you're wounded because of me." Eli cried. She hugged and comforted him.

"Princess, the lunch is ready." 

"Let's go eat lunch. shall we? We will help you."

"Princess, as you requested, today's Menu is Grizsha's special roasted chicken, mashed potato, creamy spinach, and pudding for dessert."

Everybody cheering and happily eating. She was happy. However, when she took the first bite of the roasted chicken, tear fell from Iris's cheek, "I am sorry I am not helping you quick enough."

Everybody silent.

"You have done so much, Princess, thank you. We know from now on you will protect us." Cattleya hugged from behind her.

She then cried more. All of the children rushed to hug her. Some cried loudly. Grizsha, Rosetta, Selma, and Agnes were moved too. Lady Leia was touched. Tears are everywhere, but luckily it was happy tears.

Maybe it is time they have duchess to take care of them with more attention.

Meanwhile outside.

"You still stood here?" Judah asked Iowyrthe. He nodded.

"Why?"

"Why what?"

"Ah, my friend you are hopeless. Sir Thomas, let us show him." Sir Thomas nodded.

"Princess we apologize for today's incident. We have punished Dellabella, apparently, she tricked the children to give her money and kept it by herself. We will hand-over the manager to Miss Paulette."

"Is she a good person?" The Princess asked.

"Yeaaaayyyyy, we will meet Miss Paulette every day?"

"Yes, children."

"She is a wonderful person, Princess, she teaches us everything." Rhea said.

"Yup, she is very nice." Another child named Aidan said.

"Good then."

"So Princess, do you promise you won't be sad or cry again?" Kalam, another boy shouted. He offered his pinkie, followed by every other child. Iris smiled and pinkie everyone. Everybody happily eat the lunch.

Grizsha then get out to take the pudding. He bumped into His Highness.

"Where is my roasted chicken? Send it to my study."

"Duke, Your Highness, pardon me but, no roasted chicken left in the kitchen. I will get you some mashed potato and creamy spinach. I will send it to your study."

"How dare you?!"

"You can come inside, there's some roasted chicken left I guess."

"No, how can I..." Iowyrthe took a deep breath.

"Excuse me, Your highness. I need to serve some pudding." Grizsha walked away. Iowyrthe pouted.
