"Grund: what happened to you?" 

"Johnny: nothing. Life's easy."

Two beads appear.

"Grund:I see you have eight beads."

"Jd: these last few minutes have been tough. So please ignore her."

"Grund: that's was my plan. Anyway glad to see you don't a ton of beads. But I'm 

Disappointed you you don't have more."

"Johnny: that does not make a dollar."

"Jd: she means since and it does not."

Grund closes the magazine. He sits up and crosses his arms. Their was a serious look on his face.

"Grund: like I said this is a dangerous spell. We use the beads as a test for the learning curve. To many beads means it's to risky to learn. To little it's difficult. None it might impossible. The spell hinges on one's ability to lie. The fact you got eight does not give me a proper gage."

Suddenly Johnnys phone ring. Johnny answers it's the person again.

"Johnny: hello."

"Voice: we're are you I've been waiting forever."

"Johnny: I looked for you at the docks. We couldn't find you anywhere."

"Voice:whatever I have to go."

"Grund: who was that?"

"Johnny: I don't know? And he calling."

Johnny has a confused look on her face. She goes to sit down on her bed. She looks at the phone number. It's not saved to her phone........... to be continued
