Chapter 6
When we arrive in front of a phone store I look at Damien confused, why are we here? Gently, he rests his hand on the small of my back causing me to tense for a split second. Leading me in, I shrink into said hand and look around anxiously.
"S-Sir, why are we here?" He leads us up to a reception-like desk and I hide behind Damien. "Ma'am, can you allow us to look at one of the newest Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra's you have in stock?" She slowly nods, confused, and walks off to a back door.
I continue to hide into Damien's side as I look around with fascination. Not soon after the lady comes back with a box. Setting it down on the counter, Damien opens the box and carefully picks the phone up out of it. I look at the phone in awe, never having one in the house as a kid. They look so cool and interesting. The back of it is a beautiful pristine dark grey as I glance up at Damien.
He holds it for me to look, "Do you like it, Alexander?" I nod quickly, "It's so cool!" I smile up at him as he gently smiles back. He pops the phone back into the box and closes it with a smirk. "Can you put that on my card?" He holds out his black card and the lady's eyes widen as she nods quickly, accepting the card to ring up the phone.
Looking at Damien, I stand confused. "Why did you buy a phone, Sir?" He looks down at me and chuckles. He shakes his head and replies, "I got for you, that's why I asked your opinion on it." I gasp and smile brightly. "Thank you so much, Sir!"
The lady hands us a bag with the phone inside as well as Damien's card back. After I selected a beautiful teal case and we paid for it, we left. The case and phone box were placed into the bag now situated in Damien's hand. I, on the other hand, skip to our next destination.
My grin is wide, spread clear across my face as we arrive in front of the book store. "Can we look for books, Sir? I want to read but I don't have any books… I also don't know how to read that well either so I want to learn."
Damien smiles warmly and nods, "We'll get you some books, I'll help you pick them out as well. Then we can go home and I'll help you read, alright?" I nod quickly and grab his wrist rushing us into the store. His staggering six foot at least height follows behind my own measly five foot and five inches height. He gently pulls away when I become overwhelmed at all the books.
Leading me off by the small of my back once again we walk down many sections browsing many sorts of books. After a while, he leads me to a certain book and picks it up. "Can you read this?" He points to the random symbols. I shake my head with a whine.
He gently smiles, reassuringly, "It says 'The Song of Achilles.'" I perk up at the interesting name. He opens the book to look at more of the weird symbols and silently flutters through with his eyes. I look at him confused, "Will we get it?"
He nods, "This is a book I've wanted for a while now, so yes. If you would like, I can help you read it as well. I can also buy you the audiobook to listen to when I'm busy." I nod happily as he holds the book and we continue our search.
I appear to find nothing that interests me for now as Damien leads us to the checkout. We buy the book and begin our journey to the next store. Yet now, Damien is holding two bags instead of one.
In my search, I accidentally run into a man on the sidewalk and spill his drink all over him. In an instant I freak out, "I'm s-so sorry Sir!" The man growls with anger in his eyes and he acts as though to strike me making me close my eyes.
The air suddenly fills with dominating energy as Damien, the taller of two, grabs his wrist. "You will not touch what doesn't belong to you, Dominant. Keep that in mind before you threaten to strike another. I was going to help him pay for your clothing and new coffee but now you don't deserve it."
I've opened my eyes by now and I'm looking at Damien with wide eyes. He stood up for me… "Let's get going, Alexander." He leads me away from the scary man as I shrink into his side, hating the burning stares.
"Thank you, Sir… You didn't have to stand up for me though…" As we walk he glances down at me for a second. "I didn't have to, but I wanted to. Now Alex, can you call me Damien?" I look up at him and smile with a nod to go along.
He smiles back and we casually walk down the small sidewalks. His arm subconsciously wrapped around my back to keep me from wandering. Which in return, is effective as each time I try to run off he pulls me back to his side.
"You need to verbally tell me where you want to lead us off to before you run off, got it, Alexander?" I nod, realizing he's relaxed the small but crucial rule. "Can we go clothes shopping? I want to pick out a.. skirt, at least that's what I think Anthony said they were called…" He chuckles and leads us into a clothing store as I gasp and rush off to go look for clothes.
Damien finally catches up to me once I have an armful of clothes in my arms. "How about you go try those on first before we continue looking, okay? Plus, we can't spend too long here. I still have places I want us to go before the day ends." I nod quickly and rush off to the changing room.
Trying all the clothing and mixing and matching outfits, I'm happy with the results and step out in my original clothes to see Damien waiting for me. "Did I take long? I'm sorry Sir…" He smiles warmly, "No you're alright, let's pay for those and get going, alright? I need to get you a suit and stop at the supermarket to get food."
I looked up at him confused, "Why are we getting me a suit?" He chuckles and leads us to the checkout desk. I set the clothing there for the guy to scan. "Just in case at some point I need to take you into work with me. You'll need to have a suit." I slowly nod as the cashier says the total amount. Damien swipes his card and once the bags are grabbed we get moving.
After we leave the store and I search the area for people I turn to Damien and whisper yell at him, "Why would I come to your job in the Mafia! And why would I wear a suit!" He huffs, "We'll talk about this once we get to the car, and when we're not out in the open."
So, as I tracked behind him, my arms were full of the bags of clothing I got because he challenged me to carry them all. We arrive finally back at the car as my arms struggle. With soft words, he praises me, "Good job Alex, I'm very proud of you."
I smile to myself as we help each other put the bags away. He opens my door, allowing me to casually slide in. Yet, even though he knows I know how to buckle myself in, he insists he has to do it.
With a small sigh, I slowly relax into the seat. He had shut my door before then and is now getting in on his side. Starting the car and shutting his door, the car purrs to life.
Once again, as soon as his door is shut the dominant air surrounds me. Yet instead of choking me out like it usually does, it soothes me. My mind and body relax as I slump against the seat. I'm confused and scared at the sudden realization.
Mom and Dad always talked about this! They used to tell me the story of how some Submissives' will be occasionally gifted with the rare gift of a Dominant partner to soothe and relax them. Usually, it never happens, but sometimes the eternal bond between the two will cause them to draw to each other over time. Depending on the time can vary. They told me it could take seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, or even years!
Yet this means we're eternally bonded, this is our fate! I'm panicking, yet his dominance is working to calm me- but it only makes me panic more. This can't be true, no. No! NO!
My breathing is rapid as I feel Damien pull me close to him. 'Hey... Hey.. Calm down baby… I've got you, I know you're scared, I've got you, baby…" I sob as he pulls me into his lap while he drives.
"You can fight this for as long as you want but I'll wait for you." His voice takes on a low tone as I whine. "Fight it all you want Baby Boy, you won't be able to for long though."
