Axel was looking me in the eye and waiting for me to step forward, but I don't want to go before him, since being the last one has always been my style and I feel more comfortable that way.

As if tired of waiting for me to go ahead, Axel simply stepped forward and headed towards the sphere himself. This made it much easier for me since I don't know how I would refuse if he asked me to go first after it would make me look selfish to say I don't want to simply because I prefer being the last.

Everyone's attention once again turned to the sphere as the awaited status popped up floating in the air, and what I saw made me widen my eyes, and even my mouth subconsciously opened a bit.

I simply couldn't understand why he's this much of a cheat compared to the others, it's to the level where I don't know if I can even compare him to the others anymore.

"Why is he so much stronger than us?"

"That's an understatement, he could probably wipe us out without a sweat with those stats."

"Why am I even here if you have Axel?"

"I know right? Had a whole life to live..." 

Some of the others started using the moment to let out their dissatisfaction with the correct situation but I didn't care and only wanted to know why Axel had such high stats.

"Please calm down heroes, Axel has the Job True Hero, which is the evolution of the Hero job. So, the power he has is superior to others. This is actually the first time I've ever seen a true hero with my own eyes, but there are records of such happening in the past." The royal adviser had empty eyes and a very tired voice, it seems like the shock drained his energy.

So, jobs can just evolve like that... Can we all evolve our own? And why did he get an evolved version right off the get-go?... The questions started piling up as I was trying to stay focused on what's happening around me.

The others seemed like they wanted to say something but nobody spoke up.

"Why do I have a different Job from them? Also, can they get the True Hero job as well?" Axel looked at the adviser with wrinkles on his forehead.

"... Well, heroes have different classifications that are evaluated by the World's voice, so I do not know the exact requirements, as for the others being able to reach the status of True heroes, that would depend on their efforts, it is possible but not easy... They'll have to keep working on getting stronger until the world's voice recognizes them as such." 

After the Adviser's explanation, I could get a grasp of what is going on but had another question.

"What is the world's voice?" Axel who was thinking similarly to me asked.

"In this world, whenever one accomplishes a breakthrough and improves their skills to the next level, they will hear a voice in their mind telling them about what they have accomplished. It is a force of nature that works with the Gods to keep the balance of this world."

With this answer, not only me but most of the others seem to have relaxed a bit. Not that I believe the situation is any better but I now have a slightly better understanding of how things work.

Axel came down and tapped on my shoulder while looking at me with a smile as if saying "You're next bro.", and I could only smile back then headed towards the sphere.

The King, Queen, and Princess that have all this time been observing us quietly with their guards, are now looking at me with what I believe is anticipation, only making me more nervous about this... On the off chance, I don't have a status as good as the others, what will happen to me?

I sallow my worries and extend my hand towards the sphere and try to relax, then something goes from me into the sphere making me feel weird and slightly out of breath for a second before the feeling just disappears as if it was never there in the first place.

The moment I saw my status it was as if the world had frozen and everyone around disappeared. I couldn't believe what I was witnessing with my own eyes.

This is too great! I felt immense happiness as I looked at the effects of my unique, special skill and my active skill.

Even though there are obvious drawbacks, especially since I have terrible starting stats, but once I reach a high level, I'll be able to increase my stats indefinitely. 

Happily, my parasite vision allows me to see the information of the skills, otherwise, I would have been disheartened.

Satisfied with my own potential regardless of the fat it is as a parasite. Power is power and ill eventually get my hands on a lot of it.

"Unbelievable! I've never read anything like this even in the text of the era of the 11 Gods... I believe-." The royal adviser was trying to give his opinion on what this is about before getting interrupted by the King.

"I believe we are done with that, as you can see all of you are heroes, and you will be required to stop the imminent demise of this world. So, will you help us? If not the best we can do for you is give you a comfortable life in this world before the end comes."

I walked back to the ground and received some pity back pats and some looks of discontent, but I ignored it all and focused on the King who was talking.

Axel looked at everyone as if asking for our agreement and nobody said anything, so he nodded and looked at the King in the eyes without any hint of nervousness, and I wonder how he does it cause I couldn't.

"We will help with this predicament."

Axel's answer was no surprise to any of us since we all discussed this when we discovered that we will most likely be trapped here for life, we have to do it to save ourselves, and no better than the resources of a whole kingdom backing us up.

The King had a very big smile and while the Queen seemed to be moved to tears.

"In the name of the whole Kingdom of P... No the whole world of Origo, I must thank you immensely. Also, I must now inform you that despite the fact we were the ones summoning you, all the other Kingdoms will equally treat you as the heroes of this world, so you must not worry. As for how your lives will proceed from today on, my daughter who will accompany you to your sleeping quarters will later inform you, as I believe you are all tired from all that has happened." The King was now sounding more friendly than when we first appeared as it seems he now considers us allies.

 But I must agree that I'm tired after all of this.

"Please follow me, dear heroes." 

The princess began to show us the way as all of us just followed and left the throne room behind.

After a while following the princess, she showed the girls their rooms, and much later we reached the area assigned to the boys.

"I wish you all a good night of sleep, I will be the one escorting you tomorrow, and then I'll explain your new routine." 

With a vibrant smile that was actually quite heartwarming, the princess left and we the boys were now on our own each in front of our personal rooms.

"Well, good night I have to sleep well to keep this level of hotness." Ashley was the first to leave without showing any shame even after what happened earlier, I was Rome wasn't build in a day.

"Yeah, I'll do the same, need to process all the crazy sh*t that just happened." 

Hilton was the next to go and every one by one until I was the only one left and I too entered my room ready to sleep and forget this crazy for this one night.
