In the carriage, Iris started feeling unwell. She was so exhausted. Her head felt dizzy. She would like to rest as soon as they arrived. She preferred to be in the old room. The Duke’s chamber made her uneasy. She forgot the blood enhancer yesterday due to her passing out in front of the fire place. She supposed to take the pill every time she started feeling unwell so she can survive the next day without issue.

The children greeted her at the front of the main building when she arrived, they want to tell that the new plant they take care started to sprout. “I am sorry Augustine and Psyche. I want to rest.” She rushed climbing the stairs to go inside. She ignored them right away. The children knew instinctively she was unwell.

“Wait,” Iowyrthe caught her right arm and pulled it with force unintentionally.

“Ahh…” She screamed in pain and starred at his eyes. Her left hand wanted to let go of his hand. But before it happened, Iowyrthe saw her eyes lost the sparkling light. The eyes were pitch black. She closed her eyes and was staggering. He caught her waist in time. She collapsed.

Augustine and Psyche was running and crying. In their point of view, they saw the horror incident of the Duke made Princess Iris passed out. Rosetta, Judah, and Sir Thomas got down from the carriage quickly hearing the commotion.

“I will call June.” Judah said seeing Iris was carried in Iowyrthe arms.

Iowyrthe carried her with heavy heart. Sir Thomas opened the door to the chamber quickly and Rosetta followed. Iowyrthe put her down in the bed gently. Doctor June and Marquis Judah came running.

“I think I snapped her arm,” Iowyrthe sighed and seemed very worried.

“Io, come on,” Doctor June was in disbelief, “But let me check first.” She got some kind of mirror out and put it in her arm. The mirror can show the inside of the body in black and white shades. It has room for improvement it helped June as a doctor to diagnose if any bone were cracked or broken. Metuselah and Doctor June work a lot in utilizing magic for medic.

“No cracked bone. But her arm swollen. She collapsed because of the exhaustion mostly and triggered by the pain,” They felt a sense of relief, “I told you not too over exhaust her.”

“Alright, I apologize.” They were surprised. That vocabulary had long gone from Iowyrthe lips. They started to giggle. Even Rosetta tried hard to hold the laughter.

The Doctor treat the bruise and the blisters again. She also instructed the maid to change her into a more relax clothing.

“We should let her rest for now. But at the time of dinner we should wake her up and give her meal so she will get some strength. Best to get her easy to chew food but must also give her enough nutrition.”

One of the maids then went to the kitchen to let the cook know.

Iowyrthe dragged a sofa to get it nearer to the bed. He slept after.

Doctor June and Judah wanted to check in an hour or so, they found both of them sleeping soundly.

“June, look at our child. They have grown so fast.” Jude was smiling like a mother figure.

“Oh, come on, sweetheart, we grow them well.” June hugged Judah and pat him. They giggled again.

Iowyrthe then wake up hearing the noise.

“Oh, you wake up Baby Io…”

“What you do, Jude?”

“Honey, our baby is irritated.” June commented. June and Judah laughed hard.

“Haa… Let’s go to the study.”

“Okay, Your Highness.” They both saluted him.

With his sleepy hair, he planned to go to Aurinko earlier than the banquet, to get the Princess checked by Metuselah the Mage of the Empire. Sir Thomas has joined the meeting. Banquet will be held by the Royal to officially welcome her. Since, the first day she came all were rushed.

“Is she going to be fit for the journey, June?”

“Well, my opinion is since she was sick now from exhausted and pain, it should be alright for her to travel. I have treated the bruise well. Now, it has getting smaller too. Aurinko is only a day trip from here. You can also find some inn in between. She can rest better in the inn. It is warm and has better bed. Camping is an option too, so at least she can lay down. But you should keep her warm and comfortable. She is a princess, nonetheless. Must be hard for her to sleep with just blanket in a tent.”

“Well she can lay down in the carriage when we camp. But we have to make sure no more troll will come our way.” Judah threw some comment.

“Alright, I will let Nicholas clear our way ahead. But an inn?”

“There’s two small town in between Callavan and Aurinko, Your Grace, Euntaras and Soirvan. I suggest to stopped by Soirvan, that is has more and better inn than Euntaras.”

“Wait, Sir Thomas, Euntaras? As in the Euntaras the tree of all medicine?”

“Correct, Lady June.”

“That’s interesting. The leaf of Euntaras tree can be use as base of any antidote as well as the blood enhancer.”

“Well, she doesn’t have much left. Can you make it June?”

“Making blood enhancer will need time and more ingredients. We can’t get it all in Lleuelyn, let alone in Callavan. Many Musou’s herbs as ingredients. Not to mention other ingredients from across the Zangren and Degea sea. But I understand your concern. She hid it damn too well. Getting Euntaras Leaf will definitely help us. At least, we can treat wound and poison better with the leaf.”

“Hmmm, so better if we stopped by in Euntaras.”

“Oh, anyway. About my payment, Io. I don’t know but…”

“How much this time?”

“Ohooo, rich Duke ready to throw away money!” Judah laughed hard.

“No, not money specifically. I intended to be her personal doctor. I want to study her health. She was a very rare case.”

“She has many weaknesses.”

“You can say it like that, Io. But in my point of view, it was more interesting how she can survive this whole time. Well, yes Musou was definitely warmer, so she won’t have any issue regarding the cold. But poison, well that’s something to think on. I mean she was a former heir to the throne. I wonder if she has any experience like you, Io.”

“With the Noir? I bet not.”

“Well, not just the Noir. You just trained hard enough to have the ability to endure any other poison. At least until you can get antidote. But her, I don’t think so. Does she never get any poison? If not, how she be able withstand it? She can’t even have any training for poison resistance, because any amount of poison basically will go wrong in her body. That’s why my payment is to be her personal doctor. And therefore, you should find somebody else to do battle and expedition with both of you.”

“You don’t to be so harsh, June. You copying him. Tsk… Well, I have candidates. But I want them to be trained by you.” Judah gave his opinion.

When they looked to Iowyrthe’s face, Judah and Doctor June, can’t help but took their deepest breath. He seemed suppressing his anger, “Her again? What is wrong with you guys? All you can think of now is the Princess. Should I going weak, so you can care about me?” Iowyrthe whined.

“You jealous?”

“No!”

“Yep.”

“Eh, don’t be sulky my baby Io, as long as she is with you, I will take care of you too. But still she is my priority now.”

“So, you do this for free?”

“Of course not. But I can give you special price. Hmm, take care of my payment to Metuselah. We will need so much magic equipment to help her get better.”

“Let’s go back to our journey plan. Unless, you want me to have Nicholas clear you up too.”

“Alright, sure, Your Grace.” Judah shivered.

“So, I take that you will go in the journey too, June.”

“Yes. Stopping by the Euntaras. Buy some of the leaf. I will make some essence from that when we arrived in Aurinko. Best if you can have me in the palace, so I can monitor her easily.”

“Judah and Sir Thomas, please take care of that. Prepare for the journey too. Please consult me and June for the Princess health related issue. Can we leave tomorrow rather early?”

“Sure, Your Grace.”
