Clair got herself back up as the flames storm settles around the ruins of gymnasium where only the stage was left untouched, with the redden cloak hovering above it.

            “Ellie…”

She turns to her side, where Wright was stumbling herself up. Clair headed over helps her but she had taken notice that Wright’s hands were had turned into the bittersweet red candy that had protected them.

            “Ellie, your hands?”

Wright entire forearm had been turned into candy, and as Clair takes another look at her, she sees that it wasn’t just her hands that been changed but several other places had been candied.

            “Don’t look at me like…” Clair’s face has worried written all over it.

            “Lydia, I’m fine. It’ll turn back to normal once we return back to our room. So don’t worry.”

Clair’s threaded wings forms on her back and as she took a few steps back from Wright, and with her wings expanded as far as they could, “I’ll get us back soon. So, wait here…” and with a single flap, she disappeared, leaving only a few of her threads behind.

            “Lydia…! Don’t go on–” Wright tried to give chase but her legs gave in as she stumbled her way back down.

            “Are going to go on your own again… No, I won’t let you!” She lifts herself back up with the help of her spear.

            “Not again….” She gathers the bittersweet red aura around herself, and as the candy on various part of her body began to slowly creep further. Then, “What are doing!?” her round daemon plops on her head and rolled off, the round daemon turns to her and floated in front of her.

            “You won’t be able to go back! Stop it!”

            “Keep your mouth shut, Tados! If you’re not going to help. Then go away!”

As the ground around her also started to be candied.

            “But, what can you even do in your current state. You’ll just die.”

            “It’s better than doing nothing…! But you just don’t want to die. You selfish glutton.”

It plops itself on the ground and like a child, it flails around its stubby arms.

            “That’s right! I don’t want to disappear!”

            “If you have time to complain, then help me. You glutton.”

Stopping its flailing arms, “Fine!” enlarging its entire body and opening its belly up, stretching its neck and its stubby arms out, “Hurry! Get in.” Wright stares in disbelieve and disappointment.

            “There’s no time…!” With its stretch out limps, the round daemon quickly grabs hold of her and carries her in.

            “Tados!”

Sealing its belly shut with Wright still in it. The round daemon starts to fill its belly with bittersweet red candy, that began glow brightly soon after. Then in the next instant, a pair candied wings sprouts and with a single flap, the bittersweet red glow settles and reveal Wright highlighted in her colours.

            “You should have told before-hand, Tados!”

            “Stop wasting it, I don’t like using my prayer for this.”

            “You’re selfish till the end! But thank you.” She quivered her wings and joins Clair…

Moments before the candying, Clair had flown to the redden cloak with her bright blue radiating sword sweeping across. Cleanly cutting the cloak in half but didn’t fade away this time, instead it reforms right after and had placed its twisted spiral face right in front of her.

            “LEAVE YOUR VEXING LIGHT AND DIE!”

Summoning the oversized knives once more, and all four of them flew after Clair, who had flown back and was trying to out run them but one after the other they exploded while they gave chase.

The cloak brings forth another set of four and throws them at her, and with each of them exploding closer to her. Clair struggles to escaped and as one implodes right behind her, a bittersweet red wing covers her.

            “Ellie!”

            “I’m fine, Lydia. Let’s end this.”

Clair nodded and both flew in unison to the redden cloak, a radiating blue soar with a bittersweet red right beside. Her sword was brightly in blue and cuts the cloak again but as it reforms, Wright’s candied spear swipe across, freezing it where it stood.

            “STOP WITH YOUR POINTLESS RESISTANCE AND DIE!” as it shatters the candy around it and burned away.

A storm forms overhead with a spiral in centre of it all, gathering the grotesque red aura and forge a massive maelstrom that was blazing away. It burns whatever was left of the gymnasium and march its way to them.

The two began to gather all that they could and shined brighter than before, Wright brought her hand as far as she could with her spear floating slightly off her hand while Clair’s sword had reach out further than ever before and with a flap of her wings she vanished.

Wright spear was launched the next instant and reached the spiral in a blink of an eye, impacting the centre mass and turning all around it into a bittersweet candy.

And Clair appears soon after with sword in full swing.
