"Morning, Princess. Breakfast is ready." Heirra said while poking the cheek of Chrisia.
"Five more minutes," Chrisia answered.
She really isn't a morning person is she? Heirra thought to herself while chuckling.
"I'm gonna pounce if you don't wake up."
Heirra then jumps in the bed of Chrisia trying to disturb her sleep.
"Come on wakie wakie." Heirra said now tugging Chrisia.
This made Chrisia turn around slightly brushing the lips of Heirra. This made Heirra flustered and fell off the bed.
SHIT! Did our lips just touch? I thought I liked Grace.
Heirra calming herself continued to pester Chrisia to wake up.
"Wake up Princess. Breakfast's gonna be cold if you don't"
Chrisia glared at Heirra as she walked toward the bathroom to brush her teeth.
Such a bad temper haha. Her mood is really unpredictable. She's quite cute when she does that.
Heirra stopped for a moment and thought again. Did she just think that Chrisia was cute?
Fuck. What's happening to me.' as she hid her face with her hands. Her thoughts were disrupted when Chrisia called.
"Weren't you the one who's excited for breakfast?"
"Coming Princess."
"Stop with the princess."
Their breakfast was composed of porridge, eggs, and some vegetables. Heirra got up at seven in the morning just to prepare breakfast.
"So how's my cooking? Fit for a princess?"
"It's ok."
"I see. So this is your mood today huh?" Heirra whispered to herself while pouting.
" It's not that, Heirra."
Crap she heard me.
"I was wondering if you were always like this with girls. You're a flirt but you're the one who's blushing in the end." Chrisisa said while laughing softly as she finished her meal and quickly pecks Heirra's cheek causing Heirra's ears to blush deep red.
DO I REALLY GIVE THAT IMPRESSION?? What did she just give me a kiss? Isn't she such a flirt too???! I really don't know what's going on in her head.
Heirra touched the place where Chrisia's lips had touched.
It's soft and it felt good. I WANT more. Heirra thought not lying to herself anymore.
Do I like her that way? Didn't I like Grace? But, the way she's suddenly a flirt, then cold. Being with her warms my heart.
"What are you spacing out for," Chrisia said smiling at her across where Heirra is seated. Heirra's mind had been occupied that she didn't notice Chrisia was already back from the sink.
"Are you not going to finish your meal?" Chrisia innocently asked Heirra not knowing that she was the cause of Heirra's action.
It's all your fault. And, don't pretend you don't know.
Heirra quickly finished her meal and gave Chrisia a quick glare where Chrisia gave a wink.
She's definitely doing this on purpose. UGH, I hate her. So this is her true colors huh. Is she cold as ice? No, I think she's impish like the devil, and I can't believe I fell for her moves.
"Hey um, Chris, I have a meeting with the officers in the morning. You'll stay home right?"
"So, you're not going to call me princess anymore?"
"C-chris is also fine."
WHY AM I STUTTERING??? Ugh! She's teasing me.
" I'm visiting Jenny's place or rather Officer Darwen's place. We have a get-together."
"A get-together huh? I'll drive you."
"Thanks."
After dropping, Chrisia off at Officer Darwen's condominium. Heirra proceeds to drive to the police station where the others are.
"Woah. Fifteen minutes early huh. Is this really you?" Darwen said, pretending to be so shocked.
"Enough of this acting Darwen. Looks like Officer Blake's not here yet."
"She'll be here in a minute." Officer Redylyn said.
"So, is this Chrisia person special to you? You seem to be a changed person already. Jen told me that you're cooking now. You don't usually do that often though. Don't tell me you like her."
"I can cook whenever I want, okay? I'm also not sure. My feelings are complicated. I'm confused. Enough of me. Are you both dating already Darwen?"
"Not yet, I'll wait a few weeks. I want to get to know her more, you know. How about you Redylyn?"
"Gwenny's a great roommate. We sometimes have double dates during dinner."
"Sorry. It looks like I'm the only one who's barely made it in time." Officer Blake said. She was sweating so much.
"It's alright. Let's begin our meeting." Herria said.
"First of all, did any of you encounter any accidents? Because from my side, we haven't after the incident last week." Heirra stated.
"We didn't." Officer Darwen answered.
" Us too." Both Officer Blake and Officer Redylyn said.
" Don't you find it strange? Wait I remembered. Give me the files on my table, Blake."
Officer Blake gave the file of the case to Heirra.
Shit.
"I think there's a pattern to it," Heirra said.
Heirra began to explain her thoughts and theories to the accidents, and that there might be an accident once a week at most. Since the police are involved already, the culprit won't attack the four during office time and outside instead. And, since the officers never fail to come to pick the four up after office work, there's also no chance to attack, which leaves the weekends. Heirra already told the rest that there's a high chance that the culprit is within the Make & Make Company; moreover, someone who has a high position, but who?
"I'll inform the chief. You all go patrol around Darewn's condominium. There might be an accident."
Everyone left to follow the orders of Heirra.
After a few minutes, the chief arrived.
"So what have you found out?" the chief said.
Heirra began to explain what she had said to the three officers previously.
"I think that the culprit might be someone with a high position in the company and that the CEO personally sent these so-called suspects for protection because they might be the next victim."
"It does make sense. We did find reports of sudden accidents happening to the four inside the company. So even I found it fishy why they would be the suspects. The only leads that marked them suspects is because only the four have a close relationship with the victim."
"But, chief, do you think that the CEO knows who the real culprit is?"
"He might but maybe he can't say it and gave us leads instead. If we force it out from him, he may lie. So far, this is allI've found out."
"Thanks for the hard work Captain."
Heirra saluted to the Chief and also left for the condominium.
I have a bad feeling about this.
