Mr. Akio has treated Charlie’s wound, the one he got from the fall. Charlie and Erik are in Aunt Alya’s study room. All adults and the children are there too including Ms. Aiko, Mr. Dean’s sister.
They’re in the study room to find out who that man was plus they need to know who planted drugs under their noses.
They’ve been talking and looking over the guest list. There are almost 150-250 guests in the hall.
They all look over the lists multiple times: the cards list, invitation messages, even the separation list of the guests who came and who didn’t. They found a few suspects: the ones this agency used to get in fights with, some who are sometimes against Alya’s decisions, some who betrayed Alya and Akio.
“Erik, switch your list with Angelica,” says Mr. Akio.
“Oh god…what good is it going to do Akio?” says Mr. Dean with a sigh.
“We might find something? There are people who we’ve not have good relationships with. Other than Sia, Angelica, and Coco, no other children know about it,” says Mr. Akio.
“But-“ Mr. Dean tries to reply, but his sentence gets cut off by Mr. Akio.
“Just shush and look over the lists…stop with your bickering,” tells Mr. Akio in an orderly toned voice.
What did I even do?? thinks Mr. Dean with an annoyed face, eyes facing towards Mr. Akio.
“Uncle Roland,” calls Angelica.
“Mm?” replies Mr. Roland while looking over the lists in his hands.
“Who’s Victoria Dixon?” asks Angelica curiously.
“…. She’s Rob-“ Mr. Roland tries to reply but gets cut off by Aunt Alya.
“You don’t have to know that. Focus on what we gave you to do,” says Mrs. Alya in a deep tone and serious face, her arms crossed firmly.
“Yes…” mumbles Angelica.
Mr. Dean and Mr. Roland are looking at Mrs. Alya thinking about Victoria Dixon.
Mr. Akio takes a sneak peak at what the two gentlemen are doing. He looks at the two of them giving each other signals to tell Mrs. Alya to tell the children about Dixon. Mr. Akio sighs.
“Alya, maybe we should tell them,” says Mr. Akio glancing at Mrs. Alya.
“What?” asks Mrs. Alya.
“You heard me,” answers Mr. Akio.
Mr. Akio and Mrs. Alya give each other death stares.
Akio and Alya have known each other for years. Now, they can talk to each other without showing expressions or signals. Just staring at each other like they’re about to eat each other up.
“Absolutely not Akio! I don’t want to put them in danger! They still have long life to lead and they’re still too young for this!!”
“Too young??! How!? They’re already above 19. Plus, they’ve gone through a lot of shit WE put them in. We need to tell them, they deserve to know!!”
“I’ve made my decision Akio. I’m not telling them. They’re too innocent.”
“WHAT DO YOU MEAN INNOCENT?? As I said, they’ve been through a lot already! This won’t do any harm to them.”
“Victoria, I-”
Everyone’s looking at Akio and Alya. The children are just enjoying this! But since it's a serious matter, they don't dare to chuckle. Charlie is sitting on the seat as his ankle is hurting from the fall. Coco is listening to songs while looking through the file. Erik and Angelica are making important notes about the suspects.
Suddenly, they hear a warm low voice. It’s Roland speaking.
“Calm down. Calm down. Use your telepathy somewhere else. Right now, focus here,” interrupts Roland.
Dean massages Akio’s shoulder to help him rest.
“You guys fight a lot,” says Dean blatantly.
“She’s being unreasonable!” says Akio.
“Oi! How am I unreasonable? It’s better if they don’t know about Victoria!” says Alya angrily.
“Well, it will be BEST if they know about it! You can’t hide it from them anymore. They’ll find out eventually,” says Akio, also angry.
“Come on! That’s stupid. They’ll never find out,” says Alya proudly.
“We’re the ones who trained them. They’re stupid if they can’t find out such a simple thing,” states Akio with a straight face.
“Name: Victoria Dixon. Age: 43. Date of birth: July 15. Relatives: Spouse (dead), daughter, and a grandson named Robin Dixon,” quotes Erik, interrupting the conversation.
Akio and Alya gape at Erik. Akio closes Alya’s mouth.
“Close your mouth. There are mosquitos here,” says Akio with a big smirk.
Alya smacks his hand away from her chin.
Akio walks over to Erik.
“How did you get this info?” asks Akio.
Akio puts his left arm on Erik’s shoulder and the other on his waist proudly.
“Google is a thing, you know,” answers Erik.
Akio’s arms slips off.
Alya holds Akio and says, “Be careful. The floor is made up of slippery marble,” with a big smirk.
“I see the game you are playing,” says Akio with a sarcastic chuckle.
“Ehh, I’m not playing any games,” replies Alya with a wink.
“Now, Erik. Why did you search her up?” asks Alya.
“’Cause you weren’t telling us anything,” says Erik.
“I see. Well, fine. I give in. I’ll tell everything,” sighs Alya while getting comfortable on the table.
“Roland, honey, can you get me the file?” asks Alya politely.
“Why are you only kind with him? That’s unfair,” pouts Akio with his lower lip puffed out. He pokes Alya’s cheeks.
“Oh shush! Like you aren’t only polite with your husband. You’re also very mean to me,” Alya shoots back.
“Well, my hubby cares for me, and you don’t deserve the kindness I give you,” answers Akio without a pause.
“Alya, I can’t find the file,” says Roland worriedly.
Akio and Alya looks at each other, and then at Roland.
“WHAT??!” Akio and Alya yell in unison.
