Miyo wakes up again. This time he clearly recognizes that he is lying in the living room, and feels that his back and his head hurt. When he stands up, he is slightly dizzy. Looking at the clock, he sees that it is 10 AM. Since it is a Saturday, that means there are four hours left until he has to go to his part-time job. Just as Miyo goes to get a glass of water, the doorbell rings.

He walks to the door, while hitting his table on accident. After stumbling to the door, he opens it, not knowing who would come and visit him this early in the morning. When he opens the door, he sees GoGo and Haru, Haru is holding a bag with snacks. As soon as they see Miyo, their expressions freeze and they look very concerned. Miyo has dark circles, and puffy eyes. His hair is a complete mess, and there is a stain on his shirt. After seeing his friends' expressions, he realizes what he looks like, and quickly invites them in they walk past him and go inside the apartment. Before he can close the door, of course his neighbor has to walk out of his apartment and see Miyo in his pitiful condition.

This time his neighbor doesn't laugh though, instead looks very concerned. It looks like the neighbor wants to say something, he even opens his mouth, but then quickly closes it, and walks away after nodding at Miyo. Miyo once again is embarrassed and quickly closes the door.

Miyo makes himself breakfast, and makes some for GoGo and Haru even though they've already eaten. Just before he goes to the table where his friends are sitting, he realizes its a bit weird they came together, and its even more unusually to see GoGo awake at only 10 AM during the weekend, but he decides to ignore this and instead sits down and starts eating.

During the breakfast they all discuss their plans for today, as well what to do to find Miyo's pet. They decide to first work on an architecture project. Since Miyo was already done with his project, he helps GoGo. As usual GoGo made a lot of mistakes, so he is happy being helped. Haru is working individually, and sometimes discusses details of his design with his friends. After a while, both Haru and GoGo almost finalize their designs.

Now, the three friends quickly design lost posters for Miyo's bird. Fortunately Miyo has a lot of pictures of his birds. As soon as they finish printing the posters, Miyo looks at the time and runs to change into his work clothes. Together with GoGo and Haru, Miyo walks out of his apartment. Miyo takes his bike and goes to is part-time job, while Haru and GoGo who want to help Miyo, so they start hanging the 'lost' posters for his pet.

Miyo arrives at his part-time job. He works at a bakery in the center of the city. It is a popular bakery, with a lot of customers. At first the two owners of the bakery were hesitant to hire him, and only hired him to man the counter and pour drinks. Soon they however noticed Miyo is also good at baking, and even at preparing new recipes, so his salary improved and he had more work.

Walking into the bakery, he sees one of the owners is at the counter, and waves as Miyo. Miyo quickly walks over and starts working. He is tired from staying up late for no good reason, but still doesn't make any mistakes while working. When Miyo starts working, he is always perfectly concentrated on his job.

He is making a drink for a customer, until he sees the next customer enter the shop. At that moment Miyo drops the cup he is holding, apologizes, and quickly goes to clean the mess he made, while one of the owners goes to assist the new customer at the counter. Miyo doesn't dare to look at the new customer. The person who just entered the shop is Dai. Miyo has never seen him at the shop, and he is also the last person Miyo wanted to see in the shop on the weekend. 

After cleaning the cup and the floor, Miyo sees Dai watching him from one of the small tables in the shop. Dai must have recognized him. He wants to avoid any contact with Dai, but unfortunately the owner of the shop tells Miyo to bring Dai's order to his table. Even though he's annoyed, he is still polite, and brings Dai's order to the table. He wants to walk away as fast as possible, but surprisingly Dai strikes up a conversation. Miyo turns around trying to suppress the annoyed look on his face.

Dai asks him about when he started working at the bakery, and asks him about how he has been this semester. Hearing this, Miyo almost fails to suppress his surprise and annoyance.

With a calm expression he replies 'Dear customer, thank you for visiting our shop. Unfortunately I don't have the time to chat right now. Also I think you asking these questions is a little inappropriate, since I don't remember being close enough with you to discuss private matters.' 

After saying this, Miyo turns around on his heel, and with big steps walks away to the kitchen in the shop, where Dai can't see him anymore. Dai is left abandoned at the table with his cake. His expression is a little disappointed, and he is wondering if he has done anything to offend Miyo, a good student from his department. 

He was actually surprised seeing Miyo working in this bakery. Dai had heard about this bakery from a childhood friend, and had decided to check it out today.  Seeing Miyo as soon as he walked in, he was surprised, but felt kind of happy inside. He knew Miyo was a top student, and everyone though he was friendly. Dai always thought it was a pity he didn't get a chance to interact with Miyo, and there also was that embarrassing scene last year that Miyo had seen. Seeing Miyo's cold attitude towards him now, Dai is a little disappointed, and decides to try to make a better impression on Miyo in the future.

After Dai leaves, a very small smile forms on Miyo's face, and he finally feels at ease. After his shift, the owners tell him to rest well, and tell him to come in an hour later tomorrow. They must have seen his dark circles, Miyo thinks.

When he gets home, Miyo falls down on the sofa, just lying there for a while, wanting to rest. Unfortunately, his rest gets disrupted by someone knocking on the door. He has no clue who it is, since it can't be Haru or GoGo, and he doesn't remember anyone else knowing where he lives.

The face he sees when he opens the door belongs to his neighbor. Miyo is surprised, because he didn't expect his neighbor to want to talk to him. Seeing the confusion and surprise in Miyo's eyes, the neighbor proceeds to explain.

'I wanted to talk to you a couple of times already, but I couldn't find the right moment to start the conversation. I was hoping we could get to know each other, since we're neighbors and I don't know many other people around here.' The neighbor also adds in a soft voice, that Miyo almost doesn't hear, 'also you didn't look to well this morning, so I wanted to check if you're ok.'

Miyo, who hasn't been able to talk to a lot of classmates at the university, thinks it's a good idea to get to know his neighbor, so he invites him in. They decide to eat dinner together.

They neighbor introduces himself. His name is Juro.
