Meanwhile Miyo has invited his new neighbor, who introduced himself as Juro, into his apartment. Since neither of them has eaten dinner, Miyo tells Juro that he'll cook something for dinner, and apologizes in advance for the quality, saying he can't cook any complex dishes, only some basics. Juro doesn't mind. 

While preparing the food, Miyo feels someone looking at him, and when he turns around, he indeed sees his neighbor looking at him. This makes him feel a little awkward and embarrassed. 

Both of them remain silent while Miyo cooks, and Juro watches every part of the cooking process, thinking that Miyo looks very natural in the kitchen. He admires Miyo's skills in the kitchen, since he himself never really learnt to cook, and every time he tries, he almost sets the house on fire.

Dinner is ready. While eating, they finally start talking. Juro first asks about what happened this morning. He asks if anything is wrong, and if Miyo is ok. Miyo who hasn't talked to anyone except for his close friends, wants to release his frustrations, so he explains about the stuff at school and tells him about his bird, and surprisingly even about his sister. Miyo feels like he could tell his neighbor anything, but after realizing they both finished their food, and he's been talking on his own for a long time, he quickly stops, blushes and apologizes for the boring life story he just told. 

Juro was surprised at first about Miyo suddenly opening up like that, but he's happy, since he feels like Miyo trusts him, and he feels like they could get close. When Miyo apologizes for talking for so long, Juro laughs and tells him it's ok, since he's the one who asked, and he feels happy knowing more about Miyo. 

They also discover that they're attending the same university. Miyo is in his third year of his bachelor. He studies architecture. Juro just started his Masters after travelling for a year. He studies computer science first, but later switched to medicine development, and now focuses on certain diseases and cures. Apparently they both like drawing. Also Juro is 3 years older then Miyo. After talking for a while, they discover they actually share a lot of interests. 

After talking some more they open some drinks, and continue talking. At some point Juro even starts talking about having discovered a great cake shop in the center of the city, and after discovering that Miyo works there, they both laugh at the coincidence. At this point, Miyo has forgotten about all the troubles in his life, and remembers why he used to be a social butterfly. These past month of staying alone made him a little depressed, but with a new friend like his neighbor, he's sure he can face his future problems. 

While drinking they discuss some topics related to drawing, and to the university life. Juro remembers Miyo previously mentioned getting threatened a couple of times, so he offers him to walk back to their apartment building together on some of the days. Now Miyo is starting to get a little drunk, and his face is slightly flushed. 

Since he is having fun, he doesn't necessarily want this to end yet, so at around 11 PM, they decide to watch a movie. They are both sitting on the sofa in Miyo's living room. Soon though, since Miyo is a little drunk, he falls asleep on Juro's lap. Juro is surprised at first, but looking at the guy sleeping on his lap, he doesn't want to wake him up. He decides to jut finish watching the movie, and while watching the movie he unconsciously starts stroking Miyo's hair. 

When the movie ends, Juro is also tired. He looks at Miyo, who is still sound asleep while leaning on him, for a while and soon Juro himself also falls asleep on the sofa.

Miyo almost wakes up. he moves around a little, and feels that his bed is unusually warm, and weirdly soft. Since he isn't fully conscious yet and doesn't open his eyes yet, he just moves around a little until he feels comfortable, and he continues sleeping.

After another five minutes, Miyo is slowly starting to wake up. This time he opens his eyes slowly. Then he blinks a couple of times, to see clearly what's going on. Instead of in his bed, he finds himself lying on the sofa. It's also not his bed that is warm, it is the person lying next to him.

Miyo wakes up to find out he was sleeping with his head on Juro's chest. He also finds out he was hugging Juro in his sleep. After seeing this situation, Miyo, who is now wide awake, quickly releases his neighbor and gets of the sofa. This wakes up Juro. Juro is a little confused at first, but then he remembers getting dinner at Miyo's apartment, and he guesses he must have slept over. He is slightly embarrassed for just falling asleep and staying over at Miyo's apartment, so he also quickly gets up, and apologizes for staying over.

Miyo, who fell asleep is fine with this, and also apologizes. First uses the bathroom, after that he shows Juro the bathroom and tells him he can use it. While Juro is using his bathroom, he remembers Juro is his neighbor and his apartment is like 5 meters away. This means letting him use his bathroom is a little useless. 

While thinking of this, Miyo remembers that yesterday Haru and GoGo came to his apartment. When he went to his job, Haru and GoGo said they would hang the 'lost' posters for his lost bird. He totally forgot to ask them how it went, and he forgot to thank them! Now Miyo quickly takes out his phone and first calls Haru. The one who picks up the phone isn't Haru though.

The voice on the other side says 'Hey Miyo! Why are you calling this early?'

Miyo recognizes it's GoGo who picked up. He looks at the phone in his hand. It's 9 AM. For GoGo this is indeed early. So how come he's the one that picked up Haru's phone this early in the morning. Well it doesn't matter, since they helped him both yesterday. 

So Miyo asks how hanging the 'lost' posters went yesterday. GoGo tells him all about it. He says they first went around Miyo's neighborhood, then a little more to the center of the city, and even at the university. Miyo is happy hearing this, and thanks GoGo. He also tells GoGo to thank Haru for him, since he guesses they must be together right now. He also promises GoGo he will definitely treat them to dinner and also says he'll introduce his new neighbor to them.

After hanging up Miyo starts making breakfast for himself and Juro. He makes some toast, egg and some random side dishes. When Juro walks out of the bathroom, he can smell the food, and is seriously considering just moving in with Miyo for the sake of good food.

The two neighbors sit down at the table and start eating. Juro compliments Miyo's cooking skills again, and Miyo once again feels shy. They also discuss their plans for the day. Juro has to work on a project for a client, since even though he is still studying his master, he is also doing small programming jobs to earn money. Miyo also has to go to his part-time job today. They part at the door of Miyo's apartment, and decide to hang out again soon. 

Now Miyo has to go to his part-time job, or he'll be late. He also reminds himself that when he gets back, he needs to start studying, since the final exam week for this semester will start in one week. 

Arriving at the bakery, his mood suddenly drops, since he once again sees a familiar face inside. Why does Dai have to come here two days in a row? Will Miyo have to see Dai every weekend now? Should he quit working here? He doesn't want that. 

Dai greets him with a smile and a 'good morning'. Miyo looks away, mumbles 'morning, and quickly walks away. 

The rest of Miyo's day is surprisingly normal, and Miyo finishes his falling asleep on his book.
