The first exam just ended. Miyo, Haru and GoGo are discussing it. As usual, Miyo feels like he did ok, and Haru also feels good about the exam. GoGo isn't too sure about his answers, but Haru reminds him they studied together for hours, so he should make it as well. This cheers GoGo up a little.
There are 3 more exams in the next 10 days, but Miyo decides to join his friends for some ice cream. After all, he has studied for a whole week so everything should be fine. They all go to an ice cream place near Miyo's apartment. Haru questions whether they shouldn't be getting lunch instead, but both Miyo and GoGo ignore him, so he just sits down at a table, next to GoGo.
They all order a ice cream. Miyo orders cherry and chocolate ice cream, GoGo wants lemon ice cream, and Haru orders vanilla even though the others complain his taste is too boring.
When they get their order, and Miyo still complains about Haru always ordering vanilla, GoGo offers Haru a taste of his ice cream. Haru looks over at him, and before he even gets the chance to refuse, GoGo puts his spoon with ice cream into Haru's mouth. Haru doesn't really protest and says the ice cream tastes fine. After that, GoGo takes Haru's hand in which he has a spoon with the vanilla ice cream and he proceeds to lift it to his own mouth. Haru is a bit surprised, but not as surprised at Miyo who is watching the whole thing and wondering whether it's weird how close his best friends got. But before he gets the chance to ask them when they got this close, his phone starts ringing.
Miyo stands up and picks up his phone, turning away from his friends. It's an unknown number, so he carefully asks, 'Hello?'. There is a short silence and then the voice on the other side starts talking. It's a male voice. A pretty deep voice. Miyo feels like it's a nice voice to listen to, but he also feels like the voice is a little familiar.
The man on the phone says :'I saw a lost poster with your number on it, so I called, since I found your bird a couple of days ago. I was wondering when I could return it?'
Miyo is slightly shocked to hear this, but he quickly recovers and asks the man what is convenient for him. The man hesitates, and then says: 'the next two days aren't convenient for me, but Thursday I could come to return your pet.'
Miyo agrees, and they discuss where they will meet to hand over the bird. In the end the man convinces Miyo to tell him his address, and he promises to come return the bird in two days.
After they hang up, the man texts him asking whether he has the correct address and whether 6PM is ok. Miyo answers, and still feels like the voice was familiar, but he can't seem to match it with anyone he knows, so he returns to the table with his friends. They stare at him wanting to know who called him, so he explains someone finally found DaiDai. All three of them are relieved.
On his way home, Miyo meets Juro, who he also tells about getting his bird back and Juro is also happy for him.
Relieved, Miyo makes dinner for him self, takes a long shower and finally feels like there is a weight of his chest. Finally he can get a good nights rest and fully concentrate on his exams, so after studying his notes, he hops into bed and falls asleep.

Dai hands in the exam. Soon his 'friends' group around him asking how it went. He only manages to escape them after telling them the exam went well. In fact, it could have gone better, but he focused too much on the weird pet he picked up a week ago. After escaping the group of people, he scans the examination room.
His eyes land on Miyo laughing with his two friends. He looks happier than last week, that's good is what Dai thinks, and then wonders why he was looking for Miyo. He still feels like he wants to get closer to Miyo. There is also a sense of jealousy. Miyo is always kind and has real friends he can laugh with. It's not like he doesn't have enough people around him, but he doesn't feel like there is anyone he is really close with in his personal life.
Dai walks out of the room, and sees one of his friends pointing at a 'lost' poster. At first Dai ignores it, but then he notices the picture on the poster seems similar to the white bird he has at home, so he decides to take one of the posters and he puts it in his pocket and goes home by his car.
At home he takes out the 'lost' poster and takes a good look at it. Of course, the bird has also already flown over and is looking at the paper as well. Then Dai notices the phone number and email address on the poster.
The mail address starts with m.chen and the number also looks familiar. Could this be Miyo's email address and phone number? Is this finally a chance to get closer to Miyo? and is this why Miyo was looking a bit down last week? Dai feels satisfied knowing this is a chance to talk to Miyo and at the same time he wonders whether he is paying too much attention to Miyo.
Soon, he picks up his phone and calls Miyo's number. Soon he hears a slightly nervous 'Hello?'.
Dai discusses with Miyo when he will return the bird. When discussing where he will hand over the pet, he decides to take this opportunity to find out where Miyo lives, so he convinces Miyo he can bring his bird to his apartment. After reassuring him that it's no trouble at all, he hangs up and jumps on the sofa. The bird looks at him like he has gone crazy.
After taking one more look at the poster, he notices the birds name. DaiDai? What is this crazy coincidence? Miyo's bird has almost the same name as himself? He imagines Miyo saying 'DaiDai' and hugging the fluffy bird, and blushes. He should stop thinking about this.
When Dai calms down he remembers he still has an exam to study for. The corners of his mouth immediately drop, and he starts reading the lecture notes. When he notices the project from last week has been graded, he checks his own mark. He got one of the highest grades, as usual. He also isn't too surprised to see one of the people that did better than him is Miyo, who has the highest grade of this year.
The projects can all be seen by the students, so that everyone can learn from each others mistakes. Dai decides to read through Miyo's project. Surprisingly, he hasn't looked through any of Miyo's previous projects. While reading the submission, he feels like its on a new level. He knows his own work is good, but reading Miyo's he feels like compared to this he is a total beginner. Of course there are also a lot of subjects in which Miyo isn't this good, but his projects for architecture are something worth some admiration. Dai himself is more into the technical parts, but this motivates him to try everything.
