Jen looked down at her hand. Where there was once water flowing down appeared the water. Floating. Mid-air.
Holy baby, thought Jen.
She waved her hand around and tried to shake the water off but she only succeeded in making the water streak in the direction of her arm. It looked kind of cool.
Unexpectedly, the water from the sink began swirling around Jen. They're gonna eat me, and my death will be in this toilet. Bye, world. She closed her eyes. Nothing. No blood, no pain. Just peace.
Jen waved her arms again. The water followed. I must look like a lunatic, doing some weird stuff like wave-an-arm-and-water-will-follow.
Suddenly, Amanda, the stuck-up rich girl at school, barged in. Jen jumped and turned around.
"So it's you, Wellman," said Amanda.
Jen just shrugged and said, "Yeah, of course."
Amanda tossed her golden hair and said, "Mrs Popplecrump asked me to check on you. You're taking way too long in here. What are you doing anyway, looking at your face? I can't even think of any make-up brands to make your ugly mug even half as beautiful as mine!"
"Anyway, I'm having a big birthday at Six Flags next week and your'e not invited," added Amanda. With one last toss of her hair, she turned around and sauntered off.
