When Avril arrives outside her high school, she goes straight to where she and her friends hang out all the time, to a small shabby bench. They had found this place last year after looking for a place to stay away from the crowds of students. No one ever came here, it was behind the school building, and they all met here 15 minutes before class started. Her group of friends consists of Tania, Roxy and Steven. They all knew each other in their first year in high school, all 4 being in the same class.
Tania is always in a good mood and always energetic, she is the golden retriever of the group.
Roxy is the emo of the group, she likes to dress in black and sacrifice children at night in the forest. Of course that's completely false, it's just a joke that they keep bothering her with.
Steven is kind of the mom of the group, he makes sure everyone doesn't get too far when they cause trouble, but when he's having fun he's out of control.
As for Avril, she is the person who would be willing to hit someone if they pester her friends. She's quite stoic and calm on the outside, but she's the one who get in fights the most of the group.
Avril arrives in front of the bench, they are all already there. She waves to them as she approaches, and when Tania sees her, she jumps off the bench and runs towards her.
"AVA! Tell Roxy to stop scaring me with these ghost stories! I still want the little sleep high school gives me!"
"Hello to you too." It's barely 8 a.m. and she already wants to go home to her bed.
"Yo" Steven waves his hands to her and Avril waves at him back.
"How are you this morning Ava? Still sick?" Roxy asks her
"No it's better, I just must have been a little stressed yesterday"
"If you say so. Or maybe a demon gived you a little curse wooOOoo!" Roxy wiggles her fingers saying that, which makes Avril laugh. Tania, on the other hand, is not smilling.
"Stop! You're going to draw the evil eye on us! Are you unaware that when you talk about ghosts it attracts them to you ??"
"AHAHAHAHA!" Roxy laughs way to hard on the bench. Steven looks at them blankly, as if he's been enduring this conversation for a while.
"Well we laughed enough, now we have to go, I don't want to be late." He gets up from the bench and wipes the dust collected on his jeans.
Avril sighs and starts walking with her friends. She has a teacher that she hates in the first hour.
The day is going to be long.
