Loyd now breathing frantically after finally reaching his home, knocked on the door as hard as his aching fists allowed him.
Every muscle in his body was burning and aching with pain.
The pain of using his body beyond its capacity had slowly started to take its toll.
Excruciating pain and discomfort swalled his legs as if he was being eaten alive from top to bottom.
His legs had been pushed to the absolute limits leaving him almost immobile.
"Makki....are you there!?"
He screamed, still panting for air.
He reached out his hand and smacked his hand of the doorbell. He rang the door bell rapidly, multiple times, still waiting for some sort of answer.
But there wasn't any.
This terrified Loyd so much so that his body started to shiver.
The worst possible outcome his mind portrayed haunted him with immense guilt.
He had left Makki all alone to die.
The terror of this thought played over his mind again and again iterating in an infinite loop; haunting every corner of his brain enveloping him in an unliftable sense of culpability.
Suddenly he remembered something vital.
There was a spare key his brother Lock once told him about in case of any emergencies.
'THINK LOYD, THINK' His mind told him.
Desperately trying to remember the location of the hidden key, Loyd ran around the side of the house to come to the biggest shock of his life.
What he saw in front of his two young eyes, had destroyed him internally.
His precious home had been blown apart...
It was completely pummeled from the back disintegrating whatever was affected to debris and rubble.
Only the front part of his house remained intact, tricking users from the front view of the house into an illusion of what looked like a completely normal house.
With hope all lost and despair raiding every single last hope left, he looked around slowly and relized....
His ENTIRE street had been decimated.
Loyd dropped onto his knees, arms left hanging loosely and his mind occupied with a hundred emotions at once.
He looked up at hopeless sky, attacked by only one thought:
'What have I done' he thought, now about to break down.
"WHAT HAVE I DOOOOONE!!!?" screamed Loyd out the top of his lungs, bursting In tears and filled with mixed emotions.
His aching cries tunneled it's way through the hopeless sky only to never reach.
Sadly, his aching cries were silenced by the constant bombardment of explosives and bullets being fired which had empowered his dying screams.
Loyd wanted to kill himself.
His hate for himself grew stronger and stronger to the point where anger had now empowered all his other emotions taking full control.
"SO BLOODY STUPID!" Loyd yelled angrily, as he clenched his fist ready to inflict physical harm upon himself.
Frantically, looking for something he can torture himself with, he found a piece of his home wall still in place next to him.
He grabbed on it and thrust his head on it causing his head to erupt in blood.
"JUST DIE, DIE, DIE ALREADY!" exclaimed Loyd as he continued to bash his head on the broken piece of wall.
His forehead ruptured by the severe beatings, spewed out enormous amounts of blood, which dripped all around his head covering him in a damp layer of thick blood.
Loyd kept on bashing his head until he ran out of energy to continue.
The excess amounts of blood loss caused him to feel dizzy and nauseous.
Loyd now fading in and out of consciousness, had only one dying wish left.
He wanted to see his brother Lock and Makki before he died.
The only thing carrying loyd now was pure determination to fulfil his last wish.
Using just determination and willpower alone, Loyd sluggishly picked himself up and stood up on his feet.
Lifting him self up, he used the debris and rubble of his pummeled home as support for movement.
Then he proceeded to move forward in the direction of his pulverised living room.
Loyd felt as if tho half of his brain was ripped out, which left him incapable of processing clear thoughts.
Despite all the pain and suffering, Loyd dragged himself across into his shattered home and found himself peering at what seemed to pe a hole in between the rubble.
Loyd was certain this hole was the passageway to the living room and took his gamble.
Limping forward, he found himself constantly tripping over small pieces of rubble which normally would have been no problem to deal with, but with his current condition, it made this task extremely difficult.
After what seemed like hours, Loyd finally reached the open hole.
He tried peering inside but his blurred vision prevented him from getting a view of the other side.
Loyd made his decision final and decided to go through the hole.
He dropped down and got back on his hands and knees beginning to crawl; as he was crawling through, he noticed red liquid splattered on the walls.
Loyd thought of all the innocent people killed and how everything suddenly circled to utter chaos.
After what seemed like another pack of hours, Loyd reached the opposite end of the mini tunnel.
As he was examining the room for clues, he relized that this was the living room and felt a small sense of relief.
Suddenly, a random spark of tremor struck the half senseless Loyd.
He felt a weird cold chill run down his body as the stench of blood invaded his nose.
Loyd looked around to find the source of the stench and witnessed on his left side some pile of broken rocks lying on top of each other.
As he limped closer to it, he relized that the stench grew stronger and stronger.
His blurry vision made it hard to perceive light in this dimly lit room.
The only source of light came from some cracks on the second floor which had almost broken off anyway.
Loyd came closer to the pile of rocks and squinted as hard as his heavy eyes could.
His vision slowly started to get worse but he started at the pile until it became somewhat clear.
Immediately, Loyd dropped onto the ground.
He couldn't believe his exhausted eyes.
What he saw at that moment shook him to the very last nerve.
The one thing he had wished never to witness had just befell his very own eyes.
There, drowned in a pool of his own blood..., layed Enen Makki, crushed and flattened by huge boulders...
Enen Makki, a 9 year old orphan left hanging on the debris of the destroyed Town Bham. The town which once used to be his home but now reduced to nothing but rubble. Makki barely clings onto his life waiting and waiting for the doors of death to reach upon him, until the moment where he should've been dead, ended up being the first step to a brand new life....
