Sweet young Plum, Damion’s mother, grabbed the demon cat and sat on the bean bag facing the small portable t.v. petting him while turning the volume up. The demon cat looked up, sensing something was worrying Plum, for her scent slowly changed. He looked at the object she was seeing, paying attention to what the two humans trapped inside the box were saying.
‘The news of the child being back home with nothing but minor wounds was wonderful to everyone's ears, but what got the world’s attention was all the drawings he made during the therapy sessions he’s gotten. It wasn’t something a child would normally draw when asked what has happened when he spent a night in the forest alone with nothing but vicious predators and a cute little black cat on his side’.
His ear twitched a bit when hearing the words cute and little come out of that man's mouth, but stayed put while the petting continued.
‘That’s right Lui. Everyone theorizes that the reason the child Damion doesn’t quite remember his eventful adventure is due to the fault of the famously old stories, the god that once roams that specific forest. Protecting the child in his slumber. While others say the child was never lost in the first place and was just drawing whatever show he saw.’
Just from hearing the last statement. Plum stood up and turned the nob of the small object, switching the portable t.v. off and walking a few steps towards the fridge, looking around, figuring what to make for dinner before Damion and that Asshole of a father came back home.
“Blackie, we might need to go to the town market today to buy some meat, we’re starting to be low on other types of food. I don’t even know what to make yet, though. How about this, I’ll get out my grandmothers' cookbook from the cabinet, and I’ll read out the food. Whatever sounds good to you, just meow, and I will make it. Deal.’
It’s been just a few days and Blackie the demon cats have adjusted quite well to this lifestyle, although a bigger castle will suffice. More privacy to drink Damion blood at night has almost been interrupted on multiple occasions by that ass of a father. Blackie jumped onto the counter and patiently waited to hear what sounds good to eat on this calming day. He watched plum eagerly turn the page and watched for blackie to meow at any second.
Blackie meowed at one of the dishes he has never heard of before, the dish sounds delicious. Even though he doesn’t know what the other dishes Plum read out loud taste like either, This one stood out more to his ears. He was happy to try more good food from her that he started to purr and wag his tail like a dog, but once he looked up, he saw that something was making Plum silently cry towards the old cookbook.
Blackie was startled, he didn’t even know what he did wrong to make his “personal” cook so upset over a meow. He blamed the onions on the top of the fridge, he remembers the last time, it also made him cry the first time Plum was cooking a meal for him.
Looking closer into the book, he tried his best to read the human words, maybe it's a spell that curses whoever reads the names of the dishes out loud. Once again, he meows, hoping to break the weeping curse from Plum. For he can’t lose such wonderful service that's cooks better than any angel he has captured in his past life.
Blackie jumped to the corner cabinet, from the chair and books he was sitting on, reaching his paws to her chest to get closer to Plum’s face. Trying to make her stop crying. On the other hand, Plum just wiped her tears away, setting Blackie back down onto the floor, so she can get dressed.
Once fixing her bow, she turned to face Blackie, giving him a big smile, just as if nothing has happened a second ago. That was new to him. He just stared at her to see if the curse did break, just from his meowing. Plum ushered Blackie out the door and both went out for a walk to the meat market.
Blackie has been out a few times to secure his territory from unwanted visitors, but today is the first time he goes out shopping without Damion with us or him constantly tugging on his leash or carrying him like a baby. He looked ahead, to wonder if Plum would allow him to tag along to get Damion from his workstation as well.
Excited about the meal Plum will make, Blackie tugged on the leash. Making Plum walk faster to the market. All while having odd looks pointing at Plum and Blackie, who is zooming right by them all. Blackie thought it was normal behavior to have a cat on a leash, whenever he went out, but soon figured out the hard way when a bunch of high school girls decided to take several pictures of him in his harness suit, from across the street. Laughing and pointing at him and Plum.
He turned around, casting a quick death spell on the three girls. Making sure Plum didn’t see the casting mark, he threw using his tail. Rapidly, he tugged on the leash to avoid the disaster that will be placed on that area soon enough.
Upon getting to the entrance of the market, one of the humans working there stopped Plum in her tracks, making Blackie bounce back from the tugging of the leash. Now in pain, Blackie the demon cat looked up and hissed at the Male human. Cursing him to a painful sleep, tonight. Although he paid no attention to Blackie.
