The small group went to the only safe place they knew that was left. It was an old abandoned building that was used for who knows what. It was a fairly large building that could hold quite a lot of people, a few hundred if not more. It was located deep in the woods, too remote for the humans to do anything with it, and wasn't worth anything to knock it down, so it stayed there, letting the land claim it slowly.
Once the group made it into the building they were met with all the known survivors, there where quite a few luckily.
There was a circle around one figure with blood red eyes and hair. Ruth was trying to answer as many questions as she possibly could. She looked tense, but when her eyes landed on Archer she relaxed and stopped talking. Everyones eyes turned to Archer.
A swarm of questions came at him.
"Where are we going to go?"
"How will we survive if they have found the training grounds?"
"Will we and out children be safe?"
Archer just put his hand up to silence them. "We will only survive if we stay in our houses, only coming out if its completely necessary." A number of outraged comments came from the people crowding the building.
'Archer, we should travel back to the kingdom.' Robin suggested.
"No, it's to risky. I won't lead the people I'm suppose to protect into death."
'But-' Robin tried to say
"No, my word is final." Archer declared. Robin stared at him in disbelief.
'It's better to die trying to protect our people instead of hiding and dying anyways! You're just a coward!' Archers eyes widened in shock. He didn't expect this from Robin.
"what did he say?" A voice asked?
"Yeah, tell us. His idea is probably better than the currant one." Another yelled.
"He wants to travel back to the kingdom." Archer said.
Voices of agreement rang out through room, they all wanted to go back home, to save their king. Robin smiled at the crowd, knowing that people agreed with him made him feel calm. Archer on the other hand was upset, upset that his people didn't trust him, upset Robin would go againts him.
"If you all think that's a good idea, we will go." Archers voice was soft, he was hurt, he knew many peoply would die if they left but he had to do this to make them happy right? We'll all end up dead either way he thought.
Cheers of happiness and exitement erupted. Archer quickly turned frustrated then mad, a whole bunch of emotions were swimming around within his mind right now, and he didn't know which one was the worst.
"Great! Where do we start, Archer?" Someone asked.
"Why ask me? This isn't my plan." He replied coldly.
"How will we cominicate with his without you?" kai asked him calmy.
"You'll figure it out without me. You guys proved to be great at that." And with that, he walked out the door to sit outside, he needed to clear his head.
Robin watched as he left the room. He was mad that Archer didn't belive he could do it. He was mad that he was acting so childish, he was suppose to be a captain! He was suppose to protect his people no matter what, not walk out as soon as someone disagreed with him.
Soon things will change, and it might not be what they all expected it to be.
Robin was raised as a peasant in the magical Opal Kingdom. He has jet-black hair like most of the peasant, but his eyes are pale and he lacks the ability to talk, this has resulted in him not having any friends (with Archer as an exception). He developed the powerful gift to detect the difference from each voice he hears. This has lead him to overhear terrible and frightening plans .
Archer was raised to be a skilled knight for the Opal Kingdom. He is tall with a solid build and dark brown hair. Archer was born with the ability to read peoples minds -a very useful power for a knight-. He developed a strong relationship with Robin after he realised Robin could communicate with him telepathically..
The people of Opal were forced to flee suddenly, after a human invasion on the kingdom. The king was slaughtered and many were taken hostage to be used for their power. Those who fled are hidden amongst the humans.
Robin has promised himself that he'll protect his people, and eventually (with the help of Archer) restore the kingdom to it's former glory.
