Marinelle was surprised that she came back 12 years ago before she met Samuel at her 16th birthday banquet. "As long as I can, I will avoid him at all cost! But why am I back 5 hours before the banquet? If I remember correctly, the time before I came back was still 6pm, then my banquet should have ended right before 6pm, why is it still continuing?" gathered all the thought Marinelle was surprised when someone called her pet name.

"Marie!" he spoke. His voice was so sweet and gentle that Marinelle got shocked. 

"Lucas! Your finally here!" she shouted as she ran towards him.

Lucas and Marinelle's mother were besties in their childhood days. Marinelle's mother set her up an engagement with Lucas. But in the past, Marinelle set her eyes only in Samuel. Lucas died in the hands of Samuel while crying besides Marinelle's dead body.

"I'll protect Lucas from Samuel so he won't die again! I should cherish all the person who stayed by my side before I died. I was so foolish that I gave my life for that sc*m to have a happy life with his mistress." Marinelle whispered to herself.

"Young Miss, it's time for your makeover!" a maid shouted while approaching Marinelle.

"Marie, Can I be your e-escort?" Lucas said while avoiding eye contacts on Marie because he was scared that Marinelle might reject it.

"Sure!" Marinelle said it while smiling at him.

As Lucas and Marinelle was going down the stairs, a lot of people were amazed to see how beautiful Marinelle is, while Madeleine is gritting her teeth in the corner.

"Thank you all for attending my birthday banquet, and especially to Lucas who escorted me down here. Even you all were busy yoou still made some time to attend my birthday! Thank you all once again and thank you for my parents who supported and helped me with the banquet. Thank you again! Please enjoy the rest of the night!" Marinelle smiled and bowed gracefully that caught the attention of Samuel.

"As expected of the Dondelle family, she inherited all the beauty and her etiquettes to her mother and father."

"I know right, I can't believe that the dondelle family kept their only child in their mansion for long. Who knew she would be a goddess!" 

People chattered while Madeleine was so angry that she spilled the wine the waiter gave her.

"Can't you even walk properly! Look at my gown! How dare a lowly wench like you spill a wine on my $10000 dollar dress! Can't you see properly! Ugh, What am I suppose to do now!"
