The sun was high in the sky, the heat was present and a light breeze caressed my skin with delicacy. Spring was my favorite season, it meant the rebirth of life, and above all, it was the moment of cherry blossoms. I found this show so beautiful that I could spend hours observing them. The soft grass behind my back gave off a delicious smell that made me turn my head to breath the smell. The free hours between classes were mainly used to rest unlike some students who preferred to learn their lessons, I personally did not see the point.
I opened my eyes, placing one of my hands in front of my eyes. The sun dazzled me thus preventing me for a few moments to see properly. I straightened slightly, turning my head to the left to see Jessica and Caroline sitting on a table. They were currently learning their lesson for the next course. My eyes then drifted to my right to observe two bodies lying beside me, Sylvie and Lana. The peaceful smile they displayed made me join the movement and smiled too. Since I came back to school, they often stayed with us which I didn't mind.
Sometimes I would even suspect them of watching me on the order of Andy but that did not bother me. They could stay as long as they wanted, I loved being in their company. They were nice and knew how to find the words when everything went wrong. The two teenagers turned their faces toward me. The young woman with blond hair and black locks had leaned on her elbows while Lana, the pretty brunette with blue eyes had just put her head on the back of her friend. A typical reaction of the animal that inhabited them. The wolves needed contact between them to keep a good pack spirit.
Personally, I didn't need so much contact, at least for the moment. In fact, I had my fill of hugs a few days ago, just before my mother came home to get Andy out of my room. I shook my head slightly. Luckily, the birds' singing was there to get me out of my thoughts. However, my happiness was short lived. It was always necessary that a disturbing element disturbs my moments of calm. This time, it was my worst enemy who decided to bring me down from my little cloud. It was the thing that I hated the most in the world after waking up.
The ring, the one that announced the beginning of classes. I let out a tired sigh before lying down on the grass. The movements at my side told me that the four teenagers were starting to move around me. I gave them a supplicating glance, even clasping my hands to try to grab their pity. I wanted them to stay with me, I didn't want to go to my History lesson.
"Girls, I beg you, stay with me! I have absolutely no desire to go to class and instead I will just go to the gym to move a little... I'm completely rusty." I justified myself with a smile to try to convince them.
"Sorry Ethan but you know we don't like to miss classes even when it is to be with you... We would like to but... You know that if our parents learn it..." Said Caroline in an embarrassed voice.
"You're dead, yes, I know but who doesn't try doesn't get anything..." I sighed before turning my gaze to the remaining two who were watching a point far away in front of them. "In this case, you don't have the right to leave me alone, you must come with me! I will surely need your help to do some exercises that I don't master very well."
"I think we will also go to class, sorry beautiful!" Said Sylvie in a sorry voice, putting her hand on my head and pulling her tongue out. "We would have liked to stay but we received orders. See you later, maybe?"
"No! You can't do that to me! It's an injustice! For once that we can hang out together without being in class, you avoid me!" I complained, watching them go away. "I haven't seen you a lot these past few weeks... The only people I met were not pleasant to be around..."
"Sorry darling but we have orders to follow. Maybe you can allow yourself not to follow them but not us!" Lana continued, staring at something so I could follow her gaze. "He doesn't really appreciate you avoiding him. He will be pissed off when he knows you're not coming to class while you're well. We will have to pay the price, again. It would be nice if you could avoid creating sparks every time you approach him..."
"It's alright, no need to speak about it again. He knows very well what I think about it." I groaned more for myself by crossing the brown eyes of the person in question.
They didn't wait any longer to slip away, Jessica and Caroline after a brief burst of laughter with the two wolves and went to class while Sylvie and Lana joined the pack that was now complete. They exchanged a few words as I got up, patting my shorts on which some grass had been hanging. Feeling eyes fixed on me, I couldn't help but glance at the little group. I couldn't repress a shiver when I saw Andy's amber look on me, his wolf eyes. It wasn't really a good sign and he must have been fighting with his animal part.
I could read on his face his sudden anger, I let out a sigh of weariness. I was starting to get used to his mood hopping. Lana was absolutely right, he hated that I was avoiding him and it infuriated him. I didn't care what he could think of at the moment, I had no choice. I had to stay away from him. The distance between us was so small in the last few days that I became terrified of it. However, a part of me remained extremely attracted to his body and his personality. So I tried to keep a maximum of space between us to avoid a possible mess. Which would probably be us having sex or something like that which I wanted to avoid.
My body spun on itself, I had just started to walk to the gym, my bag on my shoulder, continuing to weigh the pros and cons of any relationship with this Alpha. My hearing quickly made me understand that I was followed. The wrinkling of the grass under a weight was very significant to a person's approach. My sense of smell allowed me to discover this individual, and I was not at all surprised by the perfume that had just risen to my nose. Damn it, if I kept my distances, it wasn't for him to cross them. I didn't stop, on the contrary, my walk accelerated to avoid him.
I was relieved to hear him stop for a few moments after increasing the pace of my walk. I could then follow the path that led to the gym calmly. Arriving in front of the building, I was surprised to hear no sound at all. It was rare that the room was empty, the students often came to train there during their free time. I went to the boys' locker room to get my sports stuff back. I carefully closed the door behind me before opening my locker to choose one of my outfits that I had washed before returning to high school.
After a few minutes of hesitation, I decided to take a pink tank top and a black jog. While undressing, I was looking for my earphones in my little bag, on the shelf of the steel cabinet. When I finally found the object that I was looking for, I was able to put on my vest which was a bright color. Just in time before the locker room opened in a loud crash. I frowned as I saw an imposing figure coming toward me. At first, I thought it was a random guy as I was in the room reserved for boys.
When I realized that I was wrong, my pants were quickly put on my waist to hide my underwear. Once this gesture realized, I couldn't move as every time we were a few meters from each other. I couldn't help but let out a grunt of annoyance, he was coming at the wrong time and, if he wanted to train, he should have waited a little. Just a few more minutes would have been enough. My red cheeks showed my embarrassment to find myself in underwear in front of him, even if my jogging was hiding my boxer, I was still embarrassed.
As I was pulled out of my thoughts, two powerful arms wrapped around my waist, accentuating the redness on my face. Andy hugged me, showing me how warm his body was next to mine. I clearly felt that he held back that power that made me tremble. I had to move, I wasn't going to stay in his arms all day. I must admit that I wouldn't mind to stay warm against him... I shook my head to evaporate these ideas from my head. But what was I thinking? What was happening to me? I took this moment of lucidity to free myself from his embrace and to remove his hands from my figure and turning quickly toward him.
I began to glare at him, something that I shouldn't have done. My moment of anger was quickly calmed by his eyes, they weren't as soft as usual. I could ready anger and... Sadness. Why does this feeling of uneasiness was suddenly overwhelming me? The wolf who slept peacefully in me had just woken up. He particularly appreciated the moment I was snuggled against the Alpha's chest. That animal in me wanted to tighten Andy's arms around my body and I fiercely rejected this idea. His eyes wandered on my silhouette without restraint which obviously began to annoy me.
I boiled inside, his pupils didn't really reflect the anger but rather the interest and lust. I wasn't really sure that I appreciated that sudden attention. My hand landed in my locker to send something on the Alpha, who stepped back. I continued throwing everything under my palm while shouting at him that he was a pervert and that he had to get out of the locker room, I was so angry. He finally rolled his eyes, exhausted before leaving, under my total surprise as I didn't expect that. I didn't move, my mouth was slightly open under the astonishment. He had just listened to me and went out of the room without a word.
I was shocked, I didn't think Andy would be able to listen to any of my orders. I stepped into the locker room to pick everything I had sent. After I had finished putting everything in my locker, I was finally able to finish dressing myself. Once my jogging on, I put on my sport shoes. I was about to go out when a presence on the other side of the door made me hesitate. He was still there, he was waiting for me. I let out a sigh anyway, he wouldn't leave before he got what he wanted.
After leaving the locker room, I almost immediately stopped. Andy was back to me, hands in his pockets looking at something in front of him. I wondered what could catch his attention so much. I walked to his side and I raised my head to his face before following his gaze on a teenager with black hair and blue eyes. I bit my bottom lip, he was rather sexy to be honest! The Alpha at my side growled slightly and I felt targeted. Why was he growling? Determined to ignore it, I turned to the newcomer.
His gaze on Andy was burning with hate and that feeling stole a shiver of fear. When the young man put his eyes on me, the intonation of his eyes changed. The perfume that was coming off him was strangely familiar and his physical appearance also told me something but I couldn't put a finger on who he was.
"I'm happy to see you in better shape. You scared me a lot this time, in the forest." Began the teenager. "I didn't think that you would still be alive with the cold that reigned and especially in the outfit you were in..."
A grimace crept onto my face as he alluded to my undressed body. He didn't need to speak about that embarrassing moment. I felt Andy ready to lose control at my side, what could put him in this state? I got closer to the Alpha, slightly sticking my body against his. I saw him stiffen at this contact before he relaxed completely, soothed by my mere proximity. After being sure that the situation wouldn't get worse, my eyes fixed on the boy in front of me.
"So, you are the one who saved me from an atrocious death that day?"
"That's right." He replied, amused by Andy's behavior. "You were more fortunate than this man, the one who was mutilated by animals... The police think it was an attack of stray dogs, they are stupid. The only ones capable of such a massacre are the wolves..."
I stiffened as soon as I heard these words and I glanced at the dominant by my side but he didn't answer me. The teenager had began to fix Andy insistently, I had the impression that he was scanning him.
"That may be that case but I heard that the wolves have been missing for a very long time already, how do you explain that?" I questioned him, letting a slight curiosity go beyond my mask of indifference.
"I have my little idea on the question." He exclaimed while looking at the Alpha. "I will tell you another time, I have something urgent to do for the moment. I will leave you in charming company..."
You could feel the irony he put in his words and I didn't like it very much. It was worse for Andy. I went a little closer to him so that he finally continued to be quiet. He had entered the game of the blue eyed young man so it was hard to get out of it now.
"As long as I'm here, my name is Jeremy. May I know yours, pretty boy?"
My name is Ethan." I answered, blushing slightly.
He smiled before turning around, raising his hand in goodbye. I felt now the look of the Alpha weigh on me so I looked up so that our eyes met. He observed me strangely and insistently. I made a grimace, I didn't like it when he stared at me that way.
"What? Do I have something on my face?" I asked, irritated.
"Yes. Red patches on your cheeks." He simply answered. "In love?"
My reaction wasn't long, I stepped back from his body that was so comforting to jump on him while hitting him. I didn't like people getting involved in my stories like he had just done. I stopped a few minutes later because Andy, out of patience, had pressed me against the outside wall of the locker room and he held my wrists with one of his hands. I was annoyed and he had to notice it because a slight smile came to illuminate his face. He was much cuter when he made an effort to look happy and, thinking about that moment, I didn't think he forced himself. The aura he radiated melted me, I delighted in that delicious feeling.
"Are you done?" He asked me, putting his forehead against mine.
"Maybe." I replied before putting on a sneaky expression. "Would the big Alpha be jealous of Jeremy?"
"And if I was? What would you do?" He asked in a mischievous voice.
"Who knows... Maybe I would have a little fun with you... Or with him..." I whispered in his ear, freeing my hands to put them behind his neck.
"You wouldn't last five minutes playing this game with me." He said, letting out a slight grunt.
"You want to bet?" I continued, approaching my face with his.
"I like betting and I must admit that I want to see that." He answered back, imitating my gesture.
His breath swept my face as mine caressed his, our lips were ready to brush. To his great misfortune, I retreated at the last moment, leaving him with lust in his eyes. I pulled my hands off his neck before freeing myself and walking toward the center of the gym. I smiled, I had managed to provoke him in a rather interesting way and that made me really happy. I felt that the coming days would be interesting. His gaze on my back made me understand that he was planning to return the favor, sooner or later.
"Do you really want to play this game?" He asked me in a hoarse voice. "In this case, we will play."
