Avery laid in bed, trying to fall asleep. He had a quite stressful day, and wished to just fall asleep and relax. As he laid alone, he rolled over, only to discover that he wasn’t really alone.

“Ey.” Kane said, laying next to him.

“AH-” Avery yelped, surprised. “Wh-why are you in my bed? You aren’t gonna make me rub your stupid paws again are you-”

“Calm down, dummy~” Kane said, interrupting him. “It’s too cold in my room.”

“...okay?” Avery questioned. “What does that have to do with you being uncomfortably close to me?”

“Heheheh~” Kane chuckled, and grabbed Avery, pulling him close. “You’re gonna warm me up~”

“WH-WHAT-” Avery tried to speak, but got flustered as he was pulled up to Kane.

“Shh...it’s too late to be yelling~” Kane said, slyly.

He placed Avery’s face against his chest, in a fashion similar to a hug. He gently wrapped his legs around Avery’s abdomen, and his tail around Avery’s waist. He made a slight exhaling noise and laid down, prepared to fall asleep with Avery in his arms. Despite being uncomfortable, Avery had to admit to himself that it was warm...actually, physically speaking, it was quite comfortable. And as his face was buried in Kane’s chest, he felt...somewhat safe. As if what was holding him close was not a beast that could tear him apart with ease, but a protector. He wondered to himself if this was how Wolves saw their Alpha. Before long he had started to drift fast asleep...that is until he realized his nose was full of Dog Hair and he couldn’t breathe. He pulled his head back to get some air, but couldn’t move from his stomach down, due to Kane being fast asleep and clinging to him like a koala. He looked at Kane’s face, marveling at how gentle and peaceful he looked...it was hard to believe that he was just a Human. Well...a Human who’s been combined with the DNA of a Wolf, but...still Human. Avery couldn’t resist the urge and reached up, gently petting Kane’s ears. To his surprise this...made him immediately wake up.

“...Uh...h-hi…” Avery nervously said, starting to pull his arm back. Kane reached up and grabbed his arm.

“Sneaky little boy~” Kane said, quietly, with his signature sly grin.

“S-sorry-” Avery tried to say, but was interrupted.

“If you wanna pet my ears…” Kane said. “Go right ahead...but I’m gonna do something in return if you do~”

Avery gulped a bit, but continued to pet him. His fur was a bit rugged, but still soft. It was relaxing to him, and it seemed that Kane enjoyed it to a degree. He kept moving his head so that Avery’s hand would remain in the sweet spot. After a while, Kane spoke up.

“Alright...I think I’ll cash in now~” Kane said.

Oops...Avery had forgotten about him saying he’d do something.

“Come here.” Kane demanded, with a smile on his face. Avery did as he was told, nervously. “Good boy.”

Kane slowly raised his hands, gripping both sides of Avery’s face, as he started to bare his teeth. Avery watched in horror as he got closer...and closer...and-

“Mm!” Kane said as he planted a kiss on Avery’s forehead, which stunned him briefly. “ Gotcha!”

“Wh-wha…” Avery stuttered, confused.

“You’re so cute when you’re confused, you dummy…” Kane said, sitting up along with Avery. “Oh, by the way…”

“Hm?” Avery said.

“That wasn’t the only thing.” Kane said, placing his hand on Avery’s shoulder.

“Wh...what was the other thing…?” Avery nervously asked.

Kane lifted Avery up suddenly.

“DRAGON SUPLEX!!!” He exclaimed.

“NOOOOO!” Avery yelled. He should’ve just stayed asleep...
