With Kenny gone, Franky was alone on the rooftop once again. This was good though. It gave him time to think about his plan. The end goal was to kill Magnus, but when and how was a big part of this plan he hadn’t figured out yet.
He couldn't just kill Magnus in the middle of the trip to Venice because then he wouldn’t get paid for the job. He was going to have to wait until after the money was delivered. This meant that while Magnus was still alive, he was going to have to get Magnus to completely trust him. A fake friendship would allow him to get close to Magnus making it easier to kill him, and by getting close to him he may be able to convince him to partake in sexual activities with him.
Franky couldn’t decide how he was going to kill Magnus. He didn’t want to shoot him, because then that would just ruin his perfect body. However, it would give Kenny a clear indication of who killed Magnus. Franky also thought about potentially poisoning Magnus, but Franky wasn’t good with poisons and had no clue how much he needed to kill a muscle jock. He also thought about staging an accident like a venomous snake bite, but he really wanted Kenny to know he did it on purpose as revenge.
Franky was unable to settle on a method of killing Magnus and just decided that he would just know what to do when the time came. With his thoughts somewhat collected, he returned to his tree and settled down for the night.
Franky was excited the next morning when he left his tree with his two most trusted muskets. He was hoping for trouble at the very beginning of the trip. He needed a warm up before the mission got more dangerous.
With two guns slung behind his back he made quick progress to the meeting place. Nobody had told Franky where the meeting place was, or maybe he wasn't listening. Point is, he had no clue where to actually go.
Lucky for him, there was a lavish black carriage in the middle of the town. Franky had his suspicions that this was where he needed to go, but the dead giveaway was the beautiful hunk standing next to it.
He made his way to the carriage and went straight to Magnus, “hey, I don’t think I got the chance to properly introduce myself to you. I’m Francois. Well right now I’m Franky.”
“I don’t think I should be talking to you. Kenny has made it clear not to fraternize with you.” Magnus said as he climbed into the carriage.
“Great. What about you? Are you not allowed to talk to me?” Franky asked, turning to a black man standing beside the carriage.
“I was given no such orders. Besides, I’m a free man; I can make my own decisions.”
“Good. What’s your name? You weren’t at the meeting last night.”
“I’m Jesse. I’m going to be Magnus’ business partner for this trip.”
“Interesting. Well nice to meet you. Hope the two of you enjoy your ride in the carriage.” Franky said as he strolled away trying to find Smitty.
He found Smitty talking to Kenny. Kenny was holding the lead to a black horse while smitty was holding the lead to two bay horses. As Franky got closer he could hear their conversation.
“I want you to keep that creep away from Magnus.”
“He’s not going to do anything to your boyfriend.”
“You don’t know that!”
Franky cleared his throat to announce his approach. “Morning gentlemen.”
“I’m glad you made it on your own. I was worried I should have gone to get you.” Smitty said as he handed one of the leads to Franky. “Now that everyone is here, let’s get this show on the road.”
Franky swiftly mounted his horse, “With pleasure.”
“Can I get a boost? I haven’t done this in a while.” Kenny grumbled as he attempted to get on the large horse.
“Short ass! What’s the problem, you used to do this all the time. Besides, I thought all you did was ride horses. Just look at your boyfriend. You can’t tell me he isn’t a horse.”
Smitty helped Kenny get onto the horse while he threatened Franky, “Keep your eyes off Magnus or I’ll decapitate you.”
“How am I supposed to work if I can’t look at Magnus?”
“That’s not what I meant blunderbuss.” Kenny stuck his nose into the air and took a position in front of Magnus’ carriage.
Franky found this slightly humorous because Kenny thought all of his threats would be in front of him. He didn’t realize that Franky was a true threat. Kenny would never admit it, but he trusted Franky even if he complained about him.
Once everyone was in position and all prep was finished it was time to leave Mittenwald. No one was expecting to have issues thirty minutes into the trip, but almost as soon as they entered the forest they came into trouble.
A group of bandits attacked, causing Franky, Kenny, and Smitty to take action. Smitty slashed a bridle off one horse and pushed its rider off.
“Scavenger hunt!” Smitty yelled as he got off his horse and finished off the man on the ground.
“I’m playing!” Franky announced as he prepared his musket.
He was determined to beat Klaus in this. Plus, he wasn’t going to let Klaus get all the glory by killing two more bandits. Franky quickly shot one of the bandits and made his way over to the corpse. Kenny charged the last bandit on horse and stabbed the last bandit in the back of the neck. With all three bandits down, it was time to look for their winning treasures.
