Avery was headed to the Shower after Beng had left. He brought a metal chair into the bathroom with him, which confused Kane.
“Why do you need a chair?” Kane asked him.
“W-well it’s dangerous for me to stand in the shower while I’m injured...especially since I need to take the Bandages off...pretty sure they aren’t waterproof…”
“Uh huh…” Kane said, looking at Avery’s side.
Avery sat the Chair in the large Shower. Seriously, the thing could fit like 5 people. He carefully got undressed and, even more carefully, removed the bandages. It stung a little bit but was relatively fine. He turned the shower on, letting it warm up before getting in. After spending a minute sitting on the chair, and letting the water hit him, he leaned back and closed his eyes. He felt his side carefully. It didn’t sting very much, but he was still scared to get it wet. As he opened his eyes and looked down, he was shocked to see Kane there. Kane had taken his shirt and stockings off, luckily keeping his pants. Avery covered his waist with a towel, panicked.
“K-KANE! WHAT THE HELL?!” Avery exclaimed, embarrassed.
“I figured if you needed a chair in the Shower, you might need help bathing.” Kane said, coming over to Avery.
“W-well you could’ve at least knocked o-or told me…” Avery said, calming down but still understandably nervous.
“Yeah yeah…” Kane said, as he carefully felt Avery’s side. “So...how do Humans bathe?”
Avery spends like 10 minutes explaining the bathing process for Humans, all the while Kane kind of looked like a dumb puppy, but seemed to get it after a bit. Kane helped Avery to bathe when he needed to, which really wasn’t much. After he was done, Avery started to get up, but Kane stopped him by placing his hands on his shoulders.
“Nah. Let’s stay a bit longer.” Kane said, with a sly look on his face.
“Wh-what? B-but if the water keeps running-” Avery said, confused.
“I don’t pay bills, I built this entire place myself~” He said.
Kane then climbed up and sat directly on Avery’s lap, specifically his thighs. Avery’s face started to, obviously, go red.
“Come on...it’s nice and warm isn’t it?” Kane asked, wrapping his arms around Avery’s shoulders.
“W-well y-y-yeah but…” Avery stammered, flustered. “Th...this is already weird…”
“Eheh..maybe.” Kane said, moving his face a bit closer to Avery’s. “But I don’t feel all that strange~”
Avery gulped a bit, starting to blush hardcore. He could feel his heart beat faster, and he started to shake a little bit. Kane scooted a bit closer.
“Beta.” Kane said.
“Wh-what?” Avery questioned, very confused at the moment.
“I said Beta.” He replied. “You’re my Beta~”
“B-but I'm...h-human…” Avery nervously responded.
“So am I.” Kane reminded him. “Born a human baby, and only 5% of my DNA is different. That’s the only difference between us. Just 5%~”
“H-hard to believe it’s...th-that small a difference…” Avery said, quietly.
Kane smiled a bit more and scooted closer. He then gently kissed Avery on his lips, shocking him so much, he was red as a tomato. He was speechless for a few seconds.
“Heheh...enjoy it?” Kane asked. “I’ll keep goin’~”
Kane leaned in, but Avery held up his hands to Kane’s chest.
“Oh...you didn’t like it?” Kane asked.
“N-no, not that…” Avery said, a bit pained. “Y-your hand is my side…”
“Oops-” Kane said, moving his hand. “...So...you didn’t say you DIDN’T like it~”
Avery looked away, embarrassed.
“I...I might have...j-just a little…” He said, quietly.
Kane smiled. “That’s all I needed to hear~” He said.
The two of them shared a Kiss, as the warm water slowly fell onto them.
