Amiel and Valda finally get a day to themselves. With training and winter coming soon, everyone's been running around like crazy.
Even though where Amiel lives doesn't get snow, where Valda's village is, it snows quite a bunch.
Valda's father decided to let them have a day off, offering to handle everything for the day.
Amiel asks him if she can take Valda to her parts of the forest. He agrees with the promise of Valda being back by midnight.
"Come on! Come on! Valda, let's go!" She rushes Valda out the door, her green dreads flying in the chilly wind as she pulls her wife into the bushes.
"Where are we even going, babe?" The pet name slid off her tongue, but the effects it had on Amiel were great. That four-letter word makes Amiel as red as a tomato.
"You'll see, soon enough. Now come on! I promised your dad that you'll be back before midnight."
"Alright, alright! I'm coming, silly." She grips Amiel's hand and allows her to drag her through the thickening forest.
They stop by her old den and she grabs some supplies that she needed. Valda occupies herself with catching up on the little pup's lives. They've gotten so big. Soon they'll be old enough to go out on their own.
After she gets all the things she needs, she drags Valda to a meadow surrounded by thick trees, only filtering in warmth and keeping the cold winds out.
Amiel lays down a couple animal pelts and sets down a basket that Valda didn't know she'd grabbed.
"Come sit."
"Ok." Valda sits on the soft hides and relishes in the warmth that'll soon be gone.
"I love you." Amiel says and lays her head on Valda's lap. Valda starts running her hands through her green dreads. 'Every beautiful shade of green, in her beautiful, soft hair.' She thinks to herself.
"I love you too." She bends down to kiss her. "So what's this about?"
"What?"
"This. Today. Why's you drag me out here?"
"You don't like it?" Sadness creeps into her voice. Valda panics.
"No! No! No! Spending time with you is lovely, this place is lovely! But there's just so much to do-" she's cut off by a kiss.
"Your father said he'd handle things today. He said he thinks you need a day to relax. So relax, hon." She kisses Valda again, their lips lingering together. "Today is for us to enjoy each other's company. We're all alone, with nature surrounding us."
"Okay. I'll relax... I love you." She smirks at her last statement. This makes Amiel laugh, her sweet laugh that's airy like the wind but as soft as the grass surrounding them.
"We already proclaimed out love for each other today. Why do it over and over?"
"Because if it makes you smile or laugh, it's worth saying over and over. I want you to feel loved, every day, all day." Valda kisses Amiel again.
"I feel your love even when we're not right next to each other. We have a connection that I feel your love through. So, you don't have to tell me you love me a thousand times a day."
"Mmmh. Fine, but give me a different type of love. You've turned me on with those words, honey, time to face the consequences." Valda kisses her blushing wife fiercely and entangles her hands in her green dreads.
They spend the day in each other's arms, kissing, touching, and talking. Soft caresses on their bare skin, legs tangled together. Bright sunlight warming them up.
"You look like your skin is glowing, love." Valda points out.
"It's just the sunlight, Valda." Amiel brushes it off.
"But you look so magical like this. The trees around us are glowing as well, but you still stand out among all of it."
"Urgh! Shut it, with all the sappy stuff! I can't take it! My heart's gonna explode!" Amiel bursts into giggles after she finishes her small shouts.
"I can't help it, sweetheart." Valda joins in on the laughter.
They spend the rest of the evening talking and giggling, before packing up everything to take back to the den. Since the sun is setting now, its better to get everything taken care of before Amiel navigates them back to the village before Valda's curfew. They lay down in their warm bed and talk some more, this time about more serious things, like all the things they have to do before winter. In the end, Valda gets told to not worry so much, and that things will go smoothly before winter. And they fall asleep, thinking about each other and the wonderful day they had.
Hey! So remember when i said in the last episode that that one would be the last...
That may have been a small white lie.....
I can't get enough of writing about these two! They're just sooo cute!
I was writing this when i was bored in class, so enjoy the fluff i came up with. Hopefully there's gonna be more soon!
Thanks for reading! Thanks for supporting me! I hope you guys love these two as much as i do! ❤❤❤❤
Bunch of my short stories that I wrote from 6th grade to 9th grade, and new ones from my tenth grade year, too.
I might not edit some of them, so it will seem like they were writing by a 12 year old. Lol.
