Night.
So much better than morning. No birds in your ears. No sunlight trying to burn your eyes out. You don’t feel like a zombie as you’re heading to the café for a coffee and muffin. So much better than morning.
I arrive at Jake’s house. I say house, but it’s an apartment. He’s lucky his neighbors were at the same school as us, and in the same party as us. Now we get three floors and six apartments to party at. Party is definitely in full swing as I get there. Hot chick at the door shoves a solo cup in my hand. I don’t care what’s in it as I down it. Vodka. Not my go to, but not the worst. The worst award definitely goes to tequila. That shit hits me like a semi. I head over to the small kitchen that’s doubling as the bar and get another drink, this time with some beer.
“There he is.”
An arm is thrown around my shoulder and a very drunk Jake is at the corner of my eye. Jake’s like me. Tall, good shape, although he’s more of a football jock while I look more like a runner, definitely popular with the ladies. His sandy brown hair is already a mess. Blue eyes blood shot. Can barely stand unassisted. Words slurring. Jake is checked out for the night.
“Jeez Dude. It’s only eleven. How are you already hammered?”
“Dude. It’s the weekend. Let’s drink and smoke.”
“I’m already drinking, so I ain’t smoking tonight. Did that with you before. Not happening again.” And it so isn’t happening again. I woke up that next day and I still didn’t know who I was, but that morning the toilet was my best friend.
“Dude we gotta drink and get our minds off that fire.”
“It’s already off my mind till you brought it up. What all have you taken?”
“I’ve smoke some. Taken some Molly. I’m still good to go.”
I roll my eyes at him before I manage to move him over to another party goer. No idea if they know Jake or not, but it gets me free of him.
As I move over to the living room I see her. The woman I’m gonna marry one day. I swear it. If only I had the balls to actually talk to her. Her name is Abby and she’s like a model standing right there. Brown hair that’s pulled up in a ponytail that’s showing off her long neck, which is my major weakness. Slender body. Perfect tits. Big booty. Legs that go for days. Perfect tan. Green eyes. And then that smile. I swear she lights up the room with that smile. I couldn’t help but to just stare. I knew I looked like an idiot, but I was an idiot in love.
Before I could even get the courage to go say hey, she slipped off with her friend. I knew I wasn’t going back to the dorm tonight. Abby was here and I was gonna find a way to make it my chance. Although with my luck I’d wake up next to some other girl, or guy, or both. I quickly downed my solo cup.
