It never meant much to us youngsters

The adults seemed to have it all

It felt like a game

10-years-old

and we find our first friend

We risk our lives for them

We love them but we don't know

The older we get the more we realize

That there is no such thing as 'the one'

We go through so many and we have exes

We hate ourselves after, then find another

We've now turned 19 and nothing is helping

We make ourselves ugly, but they are still there

Boys, girls and social media

Sometimes it's good to be isolated

Of course, we need love in our lives

But only time tells when i's right

We love some hate others

But we are not supposed to

Luke 6:35-36 says - 'Love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting anything back.'

We need to love those that hate us

Even if we don't want them to be there

One day we will thank them for their help

And they will recognise us so,

Be nice to those that hate you and

Don't hate those that are nice to you

LOVE is a strong word so...
