Today is my first day of my senior year of high school. Though I live around humans the high school I go to is in the territory of a pack there. I have barely any problems there so school is like haven for me. Even though I really only have two friends. My first best friend Ally my bubbly cheerleader who always has my back and Kyle my other best friend, who is fashion diva and always has the gossip. Though they are both part of the pack that lives there. However, they have no idea that I am a wolf. 

When I first started high school, my parents gave me a necklace that I had to wear at school which hid my wolf scent. It is very hard to hide the fact that I am anything but a regular human from my friends in and outside of school, and sometimes it gives a feeling of detachment from them. 

        Sometimes they would make comments that only other shifters could understand and I yearned for the time that I could actually tell them that I was a shifter too. 

      Which actually wasn’t too long from now only a month and half from now I would turn 18 and  would be able to leave my parents horrible treatment behind. My plan is to  approach the pack that owned the territory near my high school. I know that they treated omegas well. Kyle is an omega and when Ally and Kyle think I can’t hear they talk about pack stuff. So far I have heard nothing about omega discrimination from them. Hopefully all will go well.
