When I heard it coming, I wondered what it was,

Birds chirping unlike before bees starting to buzz,

When I heard it coming, I wondered what it was,

Small children shouting out for joy, dogs barking all because

When I heard it coming, I wondered what it was

Leaves falling very quiet, as it always does

When I heard it coming I wondered what it was

The birds now ever silent, but all the shops abuzz

When I heard it coming I wondered what it was,

This poem is simply appreciating the wonder of nature and its seasons traits. The little things that make us wonder in awe if we simply stop for a moment to notice them.

Perhaps its a poem,

Perhaps its just ho-hum,
Or twiddling of birds.

But perhaps you will read it,
And then may you say,

If just one more day.

This is a collection of poems put together because of the people who gave me faith in myself. Written for moments when for some reason, there's too much to say, so you say it all in a few lines, hoping the emotion gets through.
