This poem is for those moments you feel crushed as if someone ground you underneath their foot into the cold hard cement. because sometimes despite our best efforts they never seem good enough for those who matter most to us, sometimes you know the kind words given were just something they say out of habit, but regardless you still were proud of your achievement and no one has the right to take that away from you, nor should you ever give them that ability. Only you know the full extent of the effort you put into your life every day. So, even if those most precious to you don't care, I'm here to say, that I appreciate your effort, If someone works hard it help the world go round day after day, no matter how insignificant, so Thank you so much for being you! every effort is worth it and every change is significant after all, the butterfly effect is ever so real, and you are a part of it. so I appreciate your effort.
